We are so lucky that her parents finally gave in to her wish to audition for Holland's Got Talent and that we have so many of videos of her performances since then as her voice changed and matured.. And there is this video and one other of her singing with her family providing the musical accompaniment... And of her singing in the park on Queens Day before she became known of at all.
Yeah, listen carefully: When everyone sings together, 90% of the choir's sound, the choir's pitch, the choir's long notes, the rhythm is Amira's voice, which is practically conducting the choir.
Kinderkoor is Children's Choir. ( Mannenkoor is men's choir) Emmaus is the name of the choir, I think it's a locality based name, not sure on that. In Mijn Fantasieen, is the name of the song - In my Fantasy. She also sings it in Italian under the title - Nella Fantasia. There are a few videos of her singing it under that title. The tune is part of a film score by Ennio Morricone, called Gabriel's Oboe. Amira was 8 here the year before she launched herself at Holland's got talent, but it is significant that she was already picked out for her singing abilities. The other point is, this video is complete, there is one which always pops up that has lost the last 15 seconds of the song. I must try and hold in to this full version.
