Sonic is by definition a hero but he actually doesn't care about heroism, at least in the game continuity. Actually Eggman was intended to be a potential mascot for the company, but due to people liking Sonic the made Eggman into the villain. I don't know where you get the idea his creation was a jab at Mario from. No the planet is not called Mobius, it is called Earth. It is only called Mobius in Archie, Satam, Underground, and Fleetway. In the games it has always had been intended to be Earth with more fantastical elements like Little Planet and Angel Island. The planet being called Earth is confirmed in Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Battle, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Prime, and Sonic x Shadow Generations Dark Beginnings. Also, Sonic's world aka Earth is not entirely inhabited by non human animals. As established by Tails in TailsTube #1 (feat. Sonic) humans exist on Sonic's World on the mainland, while anthropomorphic creatures like Sonic and friends live on the Islands. Eggman is powering his Badniks with animals to get under Sonic's skin as STH1 is not their first time fighting each other. This is further confirmed by the fact robots like Mecha Sonic, Metal Sonic, and the boss robots don't need to be powered by them. Eggman is actually at South Island because he is looking for the Chaos Emeralds. The sign posts are the reasons he was able to travel to the past, present, and future. Sonic is canonically Supersonic speed, and as Super Sonic can only reach Sublight speed when flying.
I see a lot of potential here 🔥👊🏾❤️🔥, also SONIC #1
Thank you so much! More sonic character analysis to come!

Do you plan on keeping the series focused on retro games or are you planning to expand?
I’ll Probably just do whatever I consider retro
