What I think is that when donkey Kong was a baby his father abandoned him and left the family as well as the jungle kingdom and so cranky raised DK I think in that sense cranky is his father but biologically it’s his grandfather

Nice video, and yeah I get calling DK III, DK for simplicities sake and currently Nintendo primarily refers to Cranky as well Cranky and on occasion adds the extension the original Donkey Kong as a reminder to fans that Cranky is the original Donkey Kong from DKA. But on Donkey Kong III being DK Jr., he isn't. It is clearly established DK III is the son of Cranky Kong. As some people have notice the cousin thing seems to be omitted in the Japanese version. On top of that Dinky is referred to as Dixie's friend rather than cousin in NOM. _"She is a lively female Kong who is best friends with Diddy and Dinky."_ Btw there is a hypothesis that Dinky Kong was going to be the next DK given his Japanese naming and the theme of passing the torch. DK Snr. was replaced by DK Jr. who was replaced by DK III. Diddy the sidekick took the hero role in DKC2 after DK III did in DKC, and Dixie took the hero role in DKC2 after Diddy had it. So it would make sense Dinky would be next and could even have had become the next kong to wear the tie, but due to his poor reception it didn't happen.

Candy's cool. When you think about it she's one of the forefront business savvy and entrepreneur Kongs with her roles throughout the games she's in. Idk just kinda tired of the "ew look they gave the toon monkey lady tits" bit. Same for Tiny's redesign, though I can at least understand if one was a 64 kid. I wasn't so Tiny's current look is what I have nostalgia for admittedly lol. Besides Kiddy and Chunky already show their specific family tree has interesting growth spurts going on. If anything Dixie is the anamoly among them.

Folks who loved DKC1 and DKC2 not being impressed by DKC3 is pretty common and may come down to development. The team that developed DKC1 and DKC2 would then get to work on Project Dream, which would become Banjo-Kazooie, and then Banjo-Tooie, while a new team would develop DKC3 and DK64.

I see someone else beat me to the punch, ha get it but. But yeah Knuckles is not intended to be stupid but more naive while lacking social skills due to being isolated his whole life. And with these new faces showing up he didn't have much to go off of to know how much he could trust them even after the events of his debut game. For all he knew Sonic could one day decide to try to take over the world.

Eggman was the first intelligent being he have ever seen/met/spoke in his life. Knuckles also kept one step ahead of the fastest creature of the universe by using clever traps, and using the terrain of his home for the whole Sonic3 game. When he figured out he made a mistake, he adapted, took a gamble, and helped Sonic to catch up with Robotnik. Knuckles also speaks/reads at lest 3 languages, (which two of them are dead languages, Babilonian, and Echidnan, + whatever language Sonic and the whole planet speaks), he knows history pretty well (treasure hunter), capable of detective work, and he is a martial artist, the best trained and most skillful fighter Sonic and co has, next toEspio (this was revealed in the IDW Sonic comic book series which is canon to the game universe). Knuckles just became dumb because his character was flanderized. He was not supposed to be dumb, but socially awkward, and unknowledgeable about the modern world. (I would compare him to comic book Thor, who is not a genius, but is very far from being stupid) Yeah. Wade is the star of the Knuckles series, and I feel so cheated, since they marketed this series as Knuckles one. Normies like that series, but most Knuckles fans don't.

E.Gadd also appeared in Mario Party 6 as a host of his own board,"E.Gadd's Garage". He needs to appear in at least another Mainline Mario as he's basically the reason Sunshine even happened along with the fact Bowser jr. Still uses his paintbrush albeit with the emblem replaced with his.

Mario fans in the 2000's: Daisy is just a pointless Peach clone that yells "HI I'm Daisy!" She's so annoying. Mario fans in the 2010's: Why doesn't Daisy appear in games other than a few spinoffs? Does Nintendo hate her? Poor Daisy... Mario fans in 2018-2020's: Yay! She's FINALLY in mainline games and Smash Bros! Put her in more games, Nintendo, we love her!

The Nintendo power comics is not canon to the game. Wario origin is given in the game manual when you buy the Game. I wish people would stop using that dumb comics for wario back story.

I am one of the people who deny the Koopaling retcon. Specifically, I just headcanon that the Koopalings are Bowser's ADOPTED children.

So the Koopa Kids(there is more than one) or Mini Koopas for if we are referred to as Bowser's Clones or Doppelgangers in Japanese. Clones are actually not that uncommon in the Mario world btw. Status Quo wise I don't think they'll make Junior a hero but I do think he will have more teams up with Mario at times if we get more Fury situations. I think Junior is not entirely against working with Mario at times but he stills sticks with his dad. Bowser Junior's Journey also shows us Junior doesn't believe the Koopa Troopa is evil and wanting to help his dad is evil.(note whether or not they are doing evil things.)

E. Gadd says King Boo and the Boos created the Mansion and it's an illusion, as it does disappear at the end of the game when he is defeated. Junior probably used his Shadow Mario disguise to fool the old professor into giving him the paintbrush, it was good enough to fool an entire island. On Partner's In Time E. Gadd in the past was studying Thwomps at Thwomp Mountain, and fun fact Thwomps are stone Ghosts. E. Gadd does show up in Mario Party Advance and has an influence on the plot. In another party game you can play in his workshop which implies he created the orbs for Mario Party events. He is also implied to have had an influence on the arcade Mario Kart games and he made the Poltergust kart Luigi used. He shows up quiet a pit in the Mario and Luigi games such as in Superstar Saga where he runs the Starbean Cafe which is because he loves coffee. Fun fact Gooigi was created by an accident involving E. Gadd's coffee, aka Gooigi is part Coffee

The thing is for me, I have always preferred Daisy over the rest and constantly get into debates about it. Friends seem to prefer Rosalina, which I understand, or Pauline, again understandable, but people defending Peach over Daisy is a crime that I can’t stand for. I hope one day Daisy will be more relevant in a mainline game in the future

Waluigi really needs to get into a Wario game at some point. Its kind of baffling how even Toadette has playable appearances in non-sports titles and she was made for the exact same reason as Waluigi, because Toad needed a partner in Double Dash.
