part 2, another good down to earth review, certainly interested, as it comes with dash cams, useful, i use my mobile for satnav on my XR and obviously the TFT and app for music etc with my Sena 10S
if you like your tech, this seems like a good option.well reviewed matt, now get all that gear off before vosa pull you in and put you over the weigh bridge.
I always fit VSYSTO front & rear dashcams to my bike, this feels like a great way of doing that along with CarPlay too. It's a bit pricy though 🤔 The information is very comprehensive on the Chigee dash cam display.
Until u have this unit u dont realise how useful it is and quality as well, TPMS for my Ducati is £300 and not removable , u can still get it at 20% discount I got it at early bird 38% off . I prob struggle to buy at full price
Haha can never have too many screens on the handle bar right? 🤣. I still love having my Tom Tom 550 as it’s a solid unit, great battery life and never worry about signal issues. Always worth keeping as a back up. 🤙
I'd say your initial poor performance with the GPS is due to where you had the GPS receiver placed. It needs a clear view of the sky to pick up satellites.
💯 agree with you mate. But it says it needs to be a certain distance from both cameras. Otherwise I would have stuck it upfront somewhere but that would have been too close to the front camera according to their instructions. Difficult 😁.
Hi can you tell me if when listening to the sat nav from the chigee to a cardo bt, can my pillion (good lady) using a cardo also hear the map instruction. Robert
Excellent review, but not having GPS built in at this price is pretty poor in this day and age. To be honest, i still struggle to see any advantages or justifying the cost to me personally, that i would really get out of one of these units over having just my iPhone and Senna. If you spend a lot of time om Motorways and doing long distance, the radar and blind spot warning may be useful, but i don't. And i still question if having two separate quite large screens with so much information on each one is or could be more of a distraction?
Distractions are a big issue these days. It certainly adds another layer to it. If other units can have the gps in the screen then I don’t see why they couldn’t fit it in for future iterations of this product. 🤙
@rickyberkeley4362 cheers mate. So many people have said this. It’s reassuring to know you guys like it, people see through creators when they are just being positive because someone has sponsored a video. 🤙🤙
Is there anyone on RUclips NOT doing a review on this product? No knock on DSR but seems like the company pretty much sent this thing to anyone with a RUclips account for a review.
Absolutely no disagreeing with you there mate. Exactly what I said on my unboxing video. They pushed this product far and wide. It’s a good product. But not perfect. And not particularly cheap. 🤙🤙

Cheers mate. The cam quality is certainly up there. I’ll be putting these cams against the Vantrue motorcycle dashcam set soon on a head to head 🤙

They made me stand on it last time and almost took my licence from me there and then for exceeding the limit 🤣🤣
@@DSR1YT 😂all bought and paid for mate!
You know it haha
I'm strongly thinking about this unit/system for my '23 Kawasaki KLR650s, mostly because of your videos. Thanks, Cheers!
Glad I could help. Enjoy the system when you get it. Ride safe. 🤙
Chigee are releasing a updated version without camera features. Making it cheaper on the pocket 😊
Nice to hear. Wonder if they will sort out the mounting options for this.
@@DSR1YT the mounting of the unit is a massive issue, I would worry about it being stolen, regardless of the fact it's on a fixed mount
Fantastic and detailed review! While it's definitely on the pricier side, the features are undeniably impressive. Can't wait for the giveaway! 😁
Glad you enjoyed the video mate. It sure does pack a punch. Giveaways will start soon on the channel. 🤙
I am trying to find out if the Insta360 X4 on loop will work thoughtlessly as a dash cam.
Not sure about having it on loop. But you’d have to have it powered all the time as well.

I know of an easy and cheap way of getting your hands on one of these 😁. Stay tuned 😉🤙

Can’t beat the early bird prices can you. Hopefully you’re enjoying the kit ?
Great review, my next purchase as a definite, shame i just purchased the Zumo XT 4 months ago. If I got this now my life won't be worth living 😂

Without actually trying it, personally I would say unless her cardo was connected to the chiggee unit she should be fine.
@@DSR1YT So can the chigee unit take two cardo bt units ??

I'm very interested in this. Looks like you get a lot for your money.
Indeed you do Rick. Don’t forget, you might be able to win this unit if you subscribe to the channel 😁🤙
That offer alone is worth a subscribe. Like your honest, unbiased reviews, keep them coming. 👍🏿
