This may be one of the best deals for a complete motorcycle setup, including dash cam, TPMS and of course Carplay/Android Auto. Looks like it could be an amazing setup.

This looks like a pretty good system and for all you get, very affordable.
Looking forward to the installed review later this year.

its pretty close to the same system, or at least very comparable, for about a quarter of the price. Definitely looking forward to trying this out once the weather allows the riding to begin!!

@@Magicinstalls well seeing that it took less than an hour to install the Chigee unit. Plus non reviewers arent going to buy 2 units. They are going to buy the one that works for them and has the best price. And since price matters to a LOT of people the choice isnt as easy as you may think.

@@gregtoope one more point. Why would you remove this CG unit just to put on a cheap POS? You already paid for the CG unit and now you want to downgrade?

@@gregtoope I have good reason to be skeptical about the cheap units. I have tried several of them, they all see my identical. I remember hours and hours of working to make the audio come out of the right place. Also the Bluetooth would disconnect from the unit in the middle of navigating. Bro it was a nightmare!. The CG is the only one that I did not have any issues with.

Is there a way to distinguish between front and rear cameras ?

I just installed the chigee unit on my 1300gs. It was a huge pain in the ass ripping my bike apart and installing all of the wiring for this unit. I wouldn't dare take a chance on a cheesy unit like that. Whole system was $540 all in I don't know where the $800 price you're getting is. had my fair share of crap CarPlay units and I'm never going back. Chigee Is the bomb!

sucks that the GS is that hard to work on. Mine was installed in less than an hour.

@@gregtoope the GS 1300 is very easy compared to all other BMWs to work on. The difference is I did mine correctly took no shortcuts I removed the tank and the airbox to hide all of the wiring. Plus I installed lights, horn, radar detector and a rear brake light. Something I would not want to do again so I wanted to make damn sure the piece I was installing was high-quality…

User feedback I have chigee and the Greenyi unit on two bikes . Chigee is far superior in quality manual and boxes are on par with apple products. Greenyi doesn’t work well with my winter gloves and has no external buttons or remote and no BSD. Chigee screen is better Greenyi one less connection as gps built in. But price of $190 v $800 Greenyi works fine ….if u can afford chigee

When something is a lot cheaper, it's good to look at the exact differences instead of just thinking if it looks similar it must be the same. Because it isn't. Chigee has updates, this one hasn't (it says so in the comments on Ali E.); framerate is 30FPS, Chigee has 60FPS, which is quite a difference in image quality.
Furthermore, Chigee is actually continuing development, invites customers to tell them what to improve, so they can try to implement it in this or future products. Obviously Chigee makes a bit more money, but it's not for nothing. Comparing products should be on equal terms.

This was a first look video as a full review video will be coming out once riding season in our area begins. So yes there is differences. But as with a lot of reviewers of the Chigee system the issue was price. I would say at least 70-80 percent of riders that would be interested in a unit like this will never care or notice the difference between 30 and 60 fps (its probably a 50/50 split with users that would use 24p or 30p over 60p as it gives a more cinematic look). And most people will never do an update on the product that they own. Especially when using either CarPlay or android auto as the updates are done on the phone not the actual unit. So for the majority of users, this would probably be more than adequate. And it would save them cash. Is the Chigee better? Sure. But price plays a HUGE role on which unit people will actually purchase.
