The hyper-targeting of individuals on Earth using ultra-sophisticated technological means (AI) is an atrocity that should never be permitted in a democratic society.
What’s the point of an interview where the “special guest” doesn’t actually answer any of the questions asked. Feels more like a mashup between a politician and a used car salesman.
I said the same thing about the launch of apple watches. I've learned to keep my mouth shut since then because wearable tech is the future, whether or not you want or need it. I'll be first in line for these beautiful glasses
All these journalists are saying it's the most futuristic thing they've ever seen are singing the exact propaganda Meta wanted. If only these journalists saw the internal prototypes tech companies build, which is exactly what these AR glasses are... internal prototypes.
Meta is the leader in this space. Even Apple cancelled their AR glasses in favour Vision Pro, because the AR tech is so complex/difficult to mass produce.
This feel a lot less like a prototype and more like a fully functional ready to ship device, but they can't ship it yet due to cost of production and consumer pricing. The engineers can have all the time they need if they can get the software appealing and the hardware about 30% smaller. Apple being so tight-lipped about the Vison Pro only severely hindered them in this field.. even Devs only had a 5 month headstart with it. Apple engineers during post Vision pro launch had no idea how to make the AVP more affordable and were even less confident when it came to AR Glasses development. Good thing zuckerberg has verbally released key details on how they built them, so the other companies can attempt to replicate the process.
@@smittyvanjagermanjenson182 You are right in that this is probably production-ready but not great for mass-adoption. The point I am making is that most companies build devices like this and can't release it due to cost. As far as Vision Pro goes, Apple handicapped itself by not letting developers get a head start on it; Apple plays that game though.
I owned a Quest 2 and it is the most technological advance compared to anything else. I'm still waiting for pay check from Meta for 2 years now where is it????
In the 70’s “Kids don’t get so close to the TV it will ruin your eyes” In the 2000’s “Put in right on your face” 😂
i hear the meta ar orion glasses 👓 are even more impressive than the rabbit r1
The question is: How much more?
Even their first Quest is far more impressive. No that would be the Oculus Go which is even weaker tech than the Quest
where is the battery next to your brain?
my thought exactly xD. Imagine a mossad operation with those instead of pagers xD
Yeah for reviewers to be so optimistic.. is really something..
If you ever know how amazingly AR/VR device works. Making such thing in smaller glasses form is a huge feat in its own
He’s talking about RayBan AR glasses and they’re showing Orion. 🤦🏻♂️
And when he talks about Orion they show Quest 3S. And they're asking if they can replace their AI with Apple's, which is not even working yet 🤣

Can you make/ take video/ pics with that….?
yes and much more
Pffff those features are so basic for todays and even the first Quest can easily do that and thousand more

This product reminds a fella of a Steve Martin film….ppl went cross eyed and sued.
Never once used meta ai (on purpose).
Why do these companies think people want to wear this crap
Because there are people who want to wear them
You think it is crap till the time you wear it.
I said the same thing about the launch of apple watches. I've learned to keep my mouth shut since then because wearable tech is the future, whether or not you want or need it. I'll be first in line for these beautiful glasses
Because they rather wear something comfortable than keep holding a rectangular phone that have glass all around to break?
