These fights are not to be taken seriously and are not based on Monster Hunter Lore, I simply make them for people to watch and enjoy.

This is honestly one of my favorite fight in your whole channel. This fight felt like a cutscene or almost looked like the monster were controlled by players in a sort off fighting game

@@Nerdface-xl5wf Because people don't care about pure spectacle. Like all the hate comments down here are only complaining about Magna losing. They're even trying to justify by the lore or whatever. Heck i even saw someone explaing the defeat by the unfair map chosen. "Probably because of the terrain having a lot of ledges" : Like wtf is that pathetic excuse ?

@@magnabueno5360 The funny Part is, that in the Turf War Scorned is obviously stronger. But Velkhana Dodges and Spaces to avoid the attack, wich litterally granted her the Win in this Battle. In other Words is the Turf War forshadowing, that a long ongoing Battle would be a loose for Magna. Im not even a Velkhana fanboy. Velkhana beeing strangly superior is litterally what happened in both the Turf War and in an Ingame AI Battle.
Velk seems pretty brutal in these fights. The iceblight makes stagger animations last longer which makes it harder for opponents to retaliate and a lot of its attacks are multi-hits that can do a ton of damage. It's weird flippy moves can take it out of enemy hitboxes and it also seems to have a tendency to sit back and spam ranged attacks when given the opportunity.
The feeling that 40% of the battle Magnamalo fights with an invisible hunter and he clearly defeated him, but not Velkhana. Amazing.

It's crazy that velkhana is still this strong, the arch tempered version of it wasnt enough it seems.
man, that ending was peak! Velk is an absolute beast lmao. Would love to see it go up against some other big hitters like the magalas or bazels. Would also like to eventually see it against primordial malzeno, both the knight themed dragons going at it would be amazing.

Ooh very nice to see a great fight and Velkhana finessing Scorned Magnamalo even more so than any other Monster Scorned has been beaten by. Hoping we get to see Velkhana in more of these fights! It’s a bit sad that we didn’t get to the other goals as I would have wanted to see the Primordial vs Risen Valstrax… Hopefully it’ll happen soon as it has been a treat to watch the past two Primordial fights.
That Iceblight from Velkhana was a menace to Scorned Magnamalo

怨嗟マガドがカーナを強者と認めて序盤から本気出して大技まで披露するのすごく熱い展開ですこ。カーナは最初こそ圧倒されてたけど戦いの中で自分も本気出して逆転するの古龍の意地を感じる。あと怨嗟マガドの鬼怨斬を空に飛んでダウン軽減したりと頭脳プレイにも長けてる。怨嗟マガドは龍怨螺旋突きといった範囲攻撃が強かった。特に鬼怨斬は確定ダウン技だから使い勝手がいい

@@erandigael2878 this inspired me to do some digging in the files and there are stats that have to do with hellfire buildup. i might see if i cant find where subtype values are stored to try and make a super scorned magna

Man, wish they did their turf war at least once but can't do too much about it I guess. I was surprised by how early scorned started it's raging hellfire mode. I assume you had it do that intentionally and I can see why, he kinda needed it. Velkhana took this fight very handedly.

I didn't like this fight that much.. most of Scorned Magnas attacks either don't land properly or that they do but don't do any damage at all. Probably because of the terrain having a lot of ledges. Im not saying that this fight was bad just I believe he deserves a rematch but in a smoother environment so his attacks can land properly.
Give me one example where that's the case
@@bobisuncanny2760 when Scorned did his first tail cannon attack, he lands the attack but it didn't do damage and when he went for the red one it went through the terrain and missed Velkhana

@@yeshuahrivera2175 Nevermind i just checked, and you're just blind, the "projectile" was not even in Velka's direction. Of course it did not hit her if he aims elsewhere. The second rail gun attack touched but not the third one which is weird i gotta agree. Although it literally happened once in the whole fight, you're just nitpicking, like the first rail gun (red one i mean) attack did look unfair but you're still complaining about 15 seconds on a 15min long video. Also here for strange reason it did hit on the same situation : 11:14, we could say the tail was on top of the ledge so it doesn't count, then that would mean that the tip of the tip of the tail allowed the projectiles to go over the ledge. Here neither : 13:41.

Velkhana whiffs a lot of melee attacks but the sheer power of her ranged abilities more than makes up for it. She's one of those monsters with attacks that can absolutely CHUNK a monster's hp, especially that one she uses at 3:35. It's hard to win a turf war against someone that can delete 1000 hp relatively easily :P

This is mostly another example that if Scorned Magnamalo had a shorter flinch animation, he'd win all of his fights. If you notice, if Velkhana never really applied iceblight to Scorned, she'd probably lose. Thankfully, according to the lore, he's much stronger than her.
I don't think anything points in lore of him being stronger. If anything, Velkhana is considered a much bigger threat than your average Elders like Kushala or Teostra, not to mention Velk ties with Malzeno who in turn ties with Scorned. So i would consider them pretty equal imo.
@@silentprotagonist3786 Whenever base Magnamalo fights Velkhana, it's a tie, when Scorned does, Velkhana is always rideable, and despite many fruitless arguments, that means Velkhana lost.
Also, when it comes to Malzeno's turf war with Scorned, he still ties with Primordial Malzeno, so it rly doesn't matter. It's similar to how Ruiner Nergigante and Velkhana both tie with Rajang and Furious. They can still tie with Furious, but that doesn't mean they can't fight him. The turf wars for Nergigante and Velkhana against base Rajang is probably uncanon, but that's also probably wrong lol. Just look at the turf wars lol.
"Velkhana is always rideable" has this been tested? You have to remember that non-quest target monsters will always end up rideable after a turf war even if it's a tie. You'd have to set it up either in an expedition or a quest where both are a quest target to get fair results.
"Thankfully" this gives off either anti-Velk sentiment or Scorned Magna fanboyism to me, lol.
@@silentprotagonist3786 Well sadly he's kinda true, Magna can be sloppy but also can be very agile, he has the elemental + physical upper hand. Also he's not that sensitive to ice. I wouldn't say he's stronger but he would have more chance to win in a fight, but it doesn't mean Velkhana would have 0% chance to win
@@DaBap21 a single google/RUclips search will lead you to many videos and sources that PROVE that a fight between Scorned and Velk, is indeed a tie. The one you can get as rideable is most likely always the one that's not the quest target in case of tied Turf Wars as the user above me mentioned.
Also Primordial Malzeno tieing with Scorned with most likely a developer oversight as it reuses the same animation as the one between Standard Malzeno and Scorned. Not to mention Primordial does NOT use Qurio Beams even in a standard fight untill it starts going into the later phases, so it using the Qurio beam against Scorned is even more awkward and seems non-canoncial and dev oversight. At the very least, the devs consider Velkhana important enough to give her an updated Turf War with Primordial. Lol.

These fights have really dispelled the myth of Scorned Magnamalo's prowess in Monster-vs-Monster fights. I remember a time when many thought it unbeatable, but then the unthinkable happened: it was defeated soundly by Flaming Espinas! And now with Furious Rajang and Velkhana, Scorned Magnamalo has a thoroughly negative win/loss record. Makes me wonder just what else is capable of kicking his ass; definitely THE powerhouses in DPS like Seething Bazelgeuse or Risen Elder Dragons. Maybe even Silver Rathalos could beat him!

At this point seething and base bazel are the savage deviljho of rise/Sunbreak as it was for worlds fights where it had a near unbeatable win streak & im all for the bagel supremacy. But of course second best espinas & flaming need some love to.

…それでも、マガイマガドはよく戦ったと思います。相手に不利な状態異常を振り撒くことなく、イヴェルカーナをあそこまで追い詰めるのはとても困難だと思います。
状態異常を排除すればマガイマガドが勝つかもしれません。
マガドの攻撃力って必殺系以外かなり弱い、この動画シリーズでは色んなやつに負けてる
異常状態もそうだけどにしてはかなりの体力差で負けてたと思う
@@にゃめろん-r2s撃力以外にも、というかここが致命的なんだけど攻撃を当てても相手が怯まない技が多いのと(腕刃での切りつけ叩きつけ、鬼火の爆発、鬼火弾飛ばしとか)次のモーションまでの間隔が長いことが相まって自分のターンが短いというか自分のターンに全然攻撃出来ないことが多いんだよね。
Scorned Magnamalo is stronger than the elder dragon, because he's an apex monster in the rampage but only Velkhana can kill him.
Scorned magnamalo > malzeno > Velkhana

I think it would be more like this: velkhana = malzeno =/< scorned
In death battle, scorned destroyed malzeno while malzeno slams Velkhana “extreme diff”.
