It was love at first sight with tippy toes and now I'm keeping up with them. Love Juria's and Chisa's vocals and Jurin's attitude?? Whoa. They all dance so well too, you can barely see any differences.

For me the sound is a 9/10. It was something I would bop my head to and get into real quick. The thing though is not the sound,it’s how it all goes so well together. U can tell what the girls are saying, the energy and concept behind it all,it’s definitely being delivered. Very well executed and they definitely have charisma. The girls did THAT. The only thing that makes me not give it a 10/10 is the fact there wasn’t a lot of rap which I would have LOVED , but it’s still good and I loved cocona’s delivery when she was rapping.

This is a lot of information, but:
It’s so exciting that we’ll see Hikaru in the group and her power with them. Some info on them:
So basically XG is a global group - all Japanese members formed from AVEX and (the biggest music label in Japan). They were trained by YGX in public facilities and 1Million - that we know of and the majority if not all of them can speak Korean and English to some degree. They will promote in Korea and Japan (in fact they will on Mnet MCountdown Thursday), but the goal is global. They were created by 2nd gen generation boyband DMTN’s member Simon (small unrelated note, he is half Korean, half Japanese). He has been preparing for their debut since 2017 (5 years) and they will be active for 10 years and they debuted March 18th with “Tippy Toes”!
Kep1er’s Hikaru is apart of this project and will be added to the group after her contract ends with Kep1er (July, 2024).
The members are (according to the actual music video timestamps):
1. Ayasa Jurin - real name Ayasa Tamaki (mid-short black hair in a messy bun 0:09) - Leader, Lead Rapper, & Vocalist - 2002
2. Kondou Chisa (long brown hair 0:37) - Main Vocalist - 2002
3. Sohara Hinata (blonde hair 1:03) - Sub-Vocalist - 2002
4. Amy Harvey (long black hair in a ponytail 0:21) - Main Rapper & Sub-Vocalist - 2002
5. Ueda Juria - formerly known as Yanou Juria (red hair with bangs 0:27) - Main Vocalist- 2004
6. Kawachi Maya (dirty blonde hair with brown highlights 1:23) - Sub-Vocalist- 2005
7. Cocona - real name Akiyama Kokona (long black hair 1:14) - Lead Rapper & Youngest - 2005

They don’t have a main dancer? I noticed they are all very talented in dance tbh. Easily could have like two main dancers, Cocona is the only one though that I’ve seen the short solo performance clip for,very talented dancer and I liked the style. Honestly they are a well rounded group with members that suit their positions very good. Not only do they have good dancers but they all match eachothers energy and give off what their concept shows.

@@prachi76 Hikaru is a member of a kpop girl group called kep1er, please check them too because they also just released their first comeback song entitled Up! and the song is so cool.
They were trained at AVEX Artist Academy, they have nothing to do with YG. They used facilities that anyone can access without being part of YG, you just need to pay.

@@kbkgene K-pop is often produced by Swedish and other Western producers but it’s still Korean. So it’s mostly about the language and the people who are singing. XG is a Japanese group with J-pop. Their music is mostly hip hop, which is American. And they are produced by Avex, which has been the center of jpop industry for a while but only focused on domestic market because Japanese market is big enough that they don’t really need to export like kpop. However, for XG they got many foreign staff mostly American to help these girls.
