How can you NOT be obsessed with them? "Tippy Toes" may just be the strongest debut ever - I've been obsessed since it dropped. Then I went back and watched their pre-debut dance performances... They are branded as a global girl group, but are promoting "Mascara" heavily on all of the Kpop shows - even (finally) giving us "Tippy Toes" live stages. They've had a couple of wins and are starting to get cheers and fan chants from the audiences, which is awesome. I've heard that there had been some pushback from Kpop as to whether or not they were even Kpop... I don't care what they are - they are stunningly talented, obviously work their tails off, and are hella fun to watch and listen to. And their presence and personality pops.
Since you love Chisa's & Juria's voices, as others have suggested, you should not skip the pre-debut material: XG - Vocal Performance (Peaches Remix). I also love their voices, and I've been playing this video regularly since it was uploaded to their channel before its debut. I'm looking forward to your reaction to this song.

They are Japanese. Harvey seems like half Japanese. Their agent is a Japanese company. Their producer is Korean. At least Maya speaks English fluently. I think, maybe they are trained to sing well in English without a Japanese accent.
