A Japanese group promoting in Korea singing in English. So many hurdles that have doomed other groups but XG thrives and I couldn’t be happier. They remind me of a 2nd year BTS or Dreamcatcher, carving their own path and not compromising who they are. They are one of the few groups I actively follow.
They're a japanese girl group that are promoting as a global group in english! they're just based in korea but none of them are korean and no they're not a kpop girl group.
Definitely check out the dances for both Left Right and Shooting Star! They have some incredible choreography. Also if you haven't make sure to check out the XG Xpyher where the rap line does a cypher. It's SICK!
As good as Tippy Toes and Mascara are, they actually managed to kick it up a notch with the XG Galz Xypher #2, and then comeback with double title tracks Shooting Stars and Left Right. Please part 2, you won't regret it!

There are solo dance videos for each member and the group dances are also really good. I think this group is best at hip-hop especially when it comes to Cocona, whose swag is off the charts

XG are actually insane. Like wtf kind of training did they have???? I really hope Hikaru will reunite with them after Kep1er because you can truly feel that they trained together. The sass and absolute skill is just not sensical to me.
Jurin is indeed the leader (that one that gives you the leader vibes) and her stage presence it's even more admirable considering she was a model before becoming an artist :)
This is the first group of this kind I've really got into (quite like Black Pink songs but don't follow them) and I've gone off from here to watch a bunch of others and very few have quite what these girls have. Some of that is probably that singing mostly in English makes them more accessible to me, but it's not the only reason (I love the Hu and Otyken and Heilung all of which sing in other languages) - I think it's the chemistry between them. One of the things that puts me off most of the groups I've seen is that they seem unreal - too perfect and too homogeneous and the groups themselves feel too manufactured : like, if they hadn't been shoved into a group together they wouldn't fit as friends. So many groups, I see them and individually they are all brilliant dancers and they are working in sync and all, but they don't seem to be communicating with each other and drawing from each other. These girls have been put together and trained up in a similar way I assume, but they have that chemistry - they seem to be focused on each other and constantly communicating through the dance. They also look healthy and fit - and like they are actually having fun even though its hard and strenuous work
Same here! Upon hearing Mascara, I've got really into them. I'm not really into girl groups but XG is really amazing and very talented. In my opinion, I think they're the definition of GIRL CRUSH concept. 💕💕💕
