My mom got into a head front end collision when a jeep ran a stop sign. At the time, she was driving her 2019 Hyundai Elantra. I believe she was going at least 45. The jeep ran the stop sign and collided with the front of her vehicle. The front absorbed the impact and the passenger compartment was completely intact. My sister happened to be in the car as well. They both walked away with very minor bruising.

These airbags are currently only available on a hand full of models sold in the U.S., all of which are from Genesis or GM. EuroNCAP has recently launched a new test to encourage them so it's likely we'll see more.

I mean it is messed up that poorer people aren't ass safe in there cars but I does make sense that if you pay alot for a car you want them to make it extra safe for you
