The GV80 has always been one of the best cars I've seen. It's incredibly impressive what they managed to pack in here, especially now with that facelift. My only major complaint, the steering wheel, has been fixed, and looks incredible now. That giant screen also looks insane. Genesis has been COOKING recently, I sincerely hope they don't fail and become a mainstream company, because the main deterrent against Genesis has always been "it's just a Hyundai", but this car, especially now, proves it isn't just a Hyundai. I like that Genesis is switching to Bang & Olufsen. We'll wait for Charlie's opinion on it, see if it's better than the Lexicon. Great video man, congrats on 50k, you really deserve it.
Any genesis model, including the original equus model and hyundai branded genesis model has always been quite bespoke. They rarely would even share switch gear. Main thing they would share is the infotainment but like the engines have mostly been bespoke. Sure the K900 and Stinger exist but the platoform was designed for genesis branded models first. People say its "just a hyundai" because they assume its like Lexus, Acura, and Infiniti who mostly just rebrand models from the mainstream brands. Genesis has never really done that. That is one reason why they are actually reliable unlike the germans and even their own hyundai/kia brands who had issues with the 2.4/2.0T engines. They always used the 3.8 v6, 4.6 v8, and 5.0 v8. Now the 2.0T in the genesis coupe was meh.
@@ayushmalpeddi2793 I barely consider the Genesis coupe an actual Genesis model. It didn't have anything that was considered luxury to be considered a Genesis. It might have had the badge but it didn't have the soul.

Man, I not so long ago bought my wife this vehicle in dark blue with this specific trim. She gets annoyed with me because I drive it more than I drive my own car. The ambient lighting while not on Mercedes level which can be overkill, is gorgeous. I'm not an SUV guy I prefer cars because it suits my driving style but if I was buying an SUV for me this would be it. But I don't have too since I bought one for my wife. This car is beauiful
There is a July 2024 software update that enables wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
they really need to change that turn signal sound, reminds me too much of Hyundai and Kia...
I moved on after hearing “still no wireless carplay”. Inexcusable. Such a shame because it’s such a beautiful car.
81k and no wireless Apple Car play. That alone is a deal killer, not to mention there is zero prestige for a ridiculously expensive Hundai
There is no more prestige. I see 19 year olds driving luxury vehicles, as well as people who can barely afford their rent. If everyone drives it, it's average.
This car is brilliant and its comfortable too, but it need air suspension!
No wireless car play in an $80k vehicle? Huh? I will pass.
So I just bought a “2024”…the new 2025 27”Display is Very Distracting!!!!!!
Chrome looks good to me
Rear wiper should be hidden. Good rear sunshades.
What’s up with American people saying going on holiday lol. It’s vacation!!!
