    I taught banjo many many years ago. You are a great instructor. Great job on this video

    Wow! What a great job of instruction on this tune. Well organized, well presented. I too hope you will do more videos. The way you presented the basic tune and then added interesting more complex licks later makes this the kind of video that has long term value. Thank you so much for posting.

    This is so close to how I play this tune. Crazy how many variations that are out there yet some of them are so similar!

      It's a banjo built by Will Seeders. I highly recommend his instruments! Bought it back in the pandemic after wanting one of his banjos for ages and I absolutely love it.

    what key is this in? did you change your tuning?

  • @AndrewLarson
    @AndrewLarson 2 года назад +1

    What is the tuning?

    • @aidanbanjo
      @aidanbanjo  2 года назад +1

      Hi Andrew, in this video I play it in C tuning. GCGCD. In jams you'll hear it as a D tune, so just put a capo on your second fret to play it in D.

      @@AndrewLarson Thanks! I play a 1926 Gibson UB-2. But Goldtone makes an affordable model that sounds good too,.
