      What I see in the video is a double crochet stitch, however you advised someone who asked a question to use half double crochet... Thank you for the tutorial, but I'm confused about the stitch I'm supposed to use 💖

    After the first row did you chain 2 or 3 and do you skip 2 chains and start in the third?? You need to do at least 2 rows, so we know what we’re doing.
    Thank you!

    I really wish I had seen your video BEFORE starting the baby blanket I’m making for my daughter & my 1st grandson. I picked out the same kind of yarn in an off white or oatmeal looking kind of color, as she likes simple/light colors & it seemed more boyish, rather than stark white(which would show dirt more too) it’s a surprise otherwise (& I debated this) asking her as you suggested (I hope it will be liked but I think you right yet too late. I also went approximately 100 links long (haha yes too long but maybe it will grow with “Cayson”) I also like how the dbl stitch comes out but I’m doing a single being I taught myself & didn’t know any other. However I’m stuck as I’m at the end and have a 2nd roll but don’t know how to join them and looking on YT I’ve seen videos for tge huge chunky or small yarn and so many different ways I want to know how I introduce the new yarn crocheted into my blanket so it doesn’t come apart in the wash or over time and for this type of yarns thickness, I hope you can help me(not sure if you’ll see this as I think your videos older talking about COVID during that time. If you do read this I’d so appreciate if you could show it in s video or even just respond thank you!!! Also another video suggestion: How to make a small “elephant” 🐘 or applied to any crocheted animal like how to do legs and bends (trunk & ears) and stuffing it too or what you’re going to need such as buying eyes with safe choices to use or making them too…thank you!

    • @dawnysdennumber10
      @dawnysdennumber10 6 месяцев назад

      The easiest way to join yarn is to wait till u get to end of a row then simply tie a knot from old to new ball. This yarn is so bulky u wont notice .

    it would be nice if you could show exactly what you do. i.e. what you do when you've chain ? many ch st. show which chain stitch you begin in. Also, show exactly what st you are doing and how. I have no idea as to what you did, how you did it or how you go from on thing to another. There is quite a bit of talking without details. I would like to make a blanket with the stitch but I haven't a CLUE as to how???????????????

      Unfortunately I don't have a pattern for this. I just chained 68 I believe, went into the 3rd chain from the hook and 1 double crochet in each stitch across, chain 2 then repeat until the blanket is the preferred size. It's really not that hard. Thank you for watching and Happy Crocheting!

Unless a pattern specifically says to chain a certain amount, I always chain 2 then turn. Then, I go into the 2nd stitch from the previous row and keep crocheting. I hope this is helpful! Hello,
      Thank you for your comment! I apologize for the tapping sound as that is my camera. It is an older one and I am looking to save for a new one in the future that will hopefully not have the tapping sound.

      You could turn off the sound to the video if you don't want to hear talking. There are also videos on this channel and many others on RUclips where there is no talking if that is what you are looking for.

      you really shouldn't be that rude, she is already going through the trouble to teach us how to make this baby blanket.
      if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all :)
