correction: the song version i used before had the squid sisters and off the hook saying their catchphrases twice and deep cut only once, they all say their catchphrase only once now
I hate to tell you this but right after the Squid Sisters yell "Stay fresh!", partway through Deep Cut's _Anarchy Rainbow_ chorus, Marie starts singing a notable portion of time before you catch it. Edit: At about 1:03 or 1:04
@@ArgentuTA164-2 I can actually hear what you're pointing out, but for me it doesn't sound like Marie. It sounds like another layer of deep cut rather than Marie harmonizing with them.
fun fact: Squid Sisters sings their first song, past, Off the Hook sings their most popular song, present, and Deep Cut sings a unrealised song, future
Actually, I’d like to say off the hook song is also their first song canonically ebb and flow is the first song off the hook ever released. also it’s pretty much all but confirmed that the song that deep cut is singing is actually a school chant they used to have considering the title of the song coming in the new Splatoon music disk(this would in turn actually make it their first song).
big man gets slept on by nintendo.... getting drowned out by frye and shiver to where you dont hear him, his solo getting sung over by his mates, the one time he gets to shine and be heard with the squid sisters he gets beat down and made to never do it again while the other two get songs with oth. i feel bad for him...

@@wellthisisjustunfortunate5925 If you look at the wiki for Suffer No Fools, the quotes section explains that Shiver and Frye were angry about Off the Hook performing in Splatsville and promptly barged into Off the Hook's green room (a room in a studio where performers relax when they’re not performing). Frye says Off the Hook can’t come into their turf without messing with them, while Pearl responds by telling Frye that they should settle it on stage. The song was recorded on both group's terms.
something I deeply appreciate about this collaborative song is how each team is representing a different tone to their performances. at least, how i’m interpreting it. The Squid Sisters’ songs are iconic & powerful; it’s an ‘ol reliable you know will never go out of style. The two come across as the presenters to this massive collab, allowing the other two bands to shine as they back ‘em up & fill the in-betweens. Their careers have built up to something uber successful, & no longer need to exceed more than what they’ve already done in the past; Callie & Marie are here to pass the torch, by supporting the groups & fans that have brought them their lives. Off The Hook having a more emotional core to their songs, they’re living in the moment & doing their utmost best to the crowds & viewers at home. Marina is taking centerstage greater in performance, but never in any malice or greed, it’s the song she wishes to perform nearest to heart with Pearl backing her up more than 100%. They’re in it together, no matter who else is there, & they’re gonna enjoy their present to the fullest. Deep Cut is the newest of the trio groups, an ambitious trio in song & theming with so much potential to share, but hasn’t had the same impact or presence compared to the other two groups. They’re the underdogs in this performance, & despite them taking leads at the start, they know this fact. The passing back-and-forths commanded by Shiver & Frye, Big Man taking shots into more energetic roles; it’s the highest energy they’ve taken of their chaotic music. This performance will define their future & they aim to strike harder than ever before.

I was a little worried that the corrections would end with Big Man having the least duration.

love the analysis
The fact that Big Man was nearly close passing through Marie’s line halfway amazes me.
My boy got his time to shine, LETS GO!!! :D
Off the hook after 1:24 will NOT LET ANYONE STEAL THE SPOTLIGHT
I as on team present but DAMN deep cuts tri colour shout is fire bro easily my favourite:D
4:21 that might be my favorite part of all splatoon songs ever 🔥 🔥 🔥
ME TOO
Deep cuts part is the best anyone who disagrees is wrong
well 💀
nah, i like them all.
This song is How to Break Your Neck 101
Is it just me or for this one line in Anarchy rainbow it sounds like they’re saying:
“So damn hot on your own na na”
😭😭
4:23 I coulda SWORN Big Man sane here, to, but I might be wrong. (I probably am💀)
i checked their animations in game when they sing to confirm
@@NexusSplatoon Huh. Checks out, I guess. I'm usually wrong when I make statements like this lol
Shiver & Frye got 69%. Nice
3:00 IT DOES NOT GET BETTER THAN THIS
Incorrect or not, this is still amazing
Thank goodness for big man and this song literally I know he got a bit less lines but he still in third place compared to Pearl and Callie
I watched the og like, an hour ago. Crazy that there’s a correction but I’m happy to see it.
What was wrong with the first upload then?
counted a few seconds more for squid sisters and off the hook accidentally in the last one
The second instances of Squid Sisters and Off the Hook's catchphrases aren't part of the actual song, so they were removed
Still a banger ❤
This is so good!
Ultimate Calamari Inkantation
