3:25 I believe spring loaded was based off the Project Diva for hatsune miku. Since that final pose for the emote looks almost EXACTLY like the one from Project Diva. And since the one that was uploaded of the Project Diva pose was uploaded back in 2012. Either Nintendo wanted to use the exact pose from it or accidentally used the pose. Or they collabed. Idk. I started hating it less when i got it but still, it pissed me off so bad. My personal favorites are probably Victory Twist because I think it's cute (and because my main oc is named Twist) and Victory Twirl because it's also very cute 🥺 but for the longest time I had landed it equipped because that's literally just me while playing
Reppin' Inkopolis: Slosher version should get bonus points for its fistbump animation. If you're on the right, you toss the slosher up with one finger, use that hand to fist bump, then hold your finger back up to catch the slosher like nothing happened. Easily one of the coolest things an emote does in this game. Also, you singling out of the Square Show-off: Splatana version must be a personal attack since I think it looks sick. An intimidating sword slash followed by a twirl and a menacing ending pose that says "I'd do it again" is just so simple but effective.
I use #2 for my Phoenix Wright squid. My splashtag is literally “Ace Lawyer” P. Wright. Also I feel that Shot Caller has too much confidence and skill in it, while Landed It feels like the perfect balance of awkward and confident.

the “roundhouse ballerina” emote is actually a male ballet dancer move. i’m not a dancer so i do not know the name of the emote, but ballet is my special interest and so i’m bummed that i missed the emote in the catalogue :/ i hope to get it eventually.
I always use the splat 2 emote with roller, but when I swap to splatana I always forget to swap the emote so I accidentally use that one. And I hate it. The splat 1 emote for wiper is so much cooler
