Tears of joy right now! Seeing the sale at the end without a lot of effort is exactly what I have been praying for! Congrats! And YES! THE BEST IS YET TO COME! THANK YOU for showing how to refurbish AND keep some of the original history of the piece… a little ding here and there… a little chip here and there… REALLY adds character to the piece and PRESERVES THE HISTORY! You are a great teacher! I recently had my circa 1880s Dry Sink/Wash Basin restored. The oak wood glows now and isn’t dead looking. The restorer kept the burn marks in the back of my piece, she kept some of the dings and dents! I seriously have been smiling so hard for the past several weeks my face hurts! You two are amazing and I’m predicting 2024 is going to be a Banner Year for you! CONGRATS! 💕 B~}🙏

You need a paint trolley like Hair dressers have that fold them around when they’re dying hair. I cringe every time I see you prepping paint on other furniture. I’m worried something is going to get damaged. Love seeing you back flipping furniture the shop is a great achievement but nice to see the grassroots still there. Wish I was local to come to one of your classes, but might be a bit of a trip from Scotland😊

Just a suggestion, but I too an shorter in statuer woman. I had to retire this year due to back and shoulder issues. After months of rehab, I'm better now, but I am careful not to over extend myself to cause strain on myself. So i noticed that your work bench is a bit high for you. A working bench that is able to rise up or lower depending on the piece you're working on would be easier on your back and shoulders. Just a thought. ❤😊 I had a cedar just like the one you're working on. I had to sell it when I moved, but it was nice to see you redo this piece. Thank you!❤😊

So happy to see you flipping furniture again, and you're doing a favorite of mine, a cedar chest. I love cedar chests, the smell, the nostalgia, and the history of them as hope chests for girls and brides. I store linens and blankets in mine with cedar wood chips for extra cedar smell. The grey one you refinished looks great. I like that it has legs, too. Very nice.

I think it's that a level of commercialism got added that we're not used to.
She's great. The camera work and editing is great. But what was formerly "Genuine thanks, XYZ company!" Just became a commercial.
I believe they can find the way back to where they give more content than commercials. They just crossed the line to it.
Success is hard. They can manage it.

I wondering if, to release the hot glue, rather than an oil which might be hard to get off completely to have the paint/primer still, if you used a non-stick cooking spray? Maybe that would be a lot easier to remove itself after?

I' m happy to see you back and flipping furniture for a new video. This color looks gorgeous!! I wonder how you chose the best color for every piece. The only point I wanted to change is the color of the stain for the veneer on top. I prefered a color which is less orange and brighter than "tobacco". That's purely a matter of taste. ❤❤❤❤

I love the color and it was a beautiful piece to work on. My only complaint is you didn't paint the back of it. 9 times out of 10 a piece like that will be against a wall. But now you are 100% restricted to do that. It doesn't seem like that much more effort to paint the whole piece. I have seen some of your other projects where the underside of a shelf isn't painted, etc. By not painting all of it; it just feels very DIY versus a professionally done makeover which is really where you are now.
Just my 2 cents. I think you do great work with your suggestions and ideas and your video's are very easy to follow.

Lauren, I bought three of your wax melts. I, as well as several others with me, think it a great idea to change the labels on your amber jars. We initially thought there was no labeling. The black lettering does not show up well. Just a kind idea, not being critical. 🙃
