Most important thing I learned from this video: for some reason I got it stuck in my head that Bunnymen React to the Hambat, so I never used it underground. I can now do so. Thanks Beard!

If anyone was wondering about the actual specifics of the oven one that beard created then here are the necessary ingredients. 92 stone walls 4 gates 28 grass tufts. That equates to 90 stone 32 logs 12 grass and the 28 grass tufts. Then add in the stuff for the flingomatic and fire source and ignition source -rope or charcoal.
It also can fit about 15 bunny huts and it is 24 walls wide and 18 tall. On the front side there is 10 tiles in before the oven portion spurts out.
Looks like Beard is CHURNING out the content. Holy Cheezits Beardo! How do you keep coming up with all these video ideas? I would have never thought DST would provide enough content for daily videos and yet... i am continuously surprised. Great video! (I am still watching it but i am assuming it's great)

Absolutely!
The anenemy version of this farm doesn't even need the doors and carrot for bait. Their path finding algorithm makes bunnies leave through the narrow corridor anyway. Also you don't need more than 4 anenemies

after seeing Wurt (and completely falling in love with) it would be amazing to see a bunnymen faction playable character come to DST
I have one that's pretty simple and quick to set up. Just surround bee queen with bunnymen and don't give them armor. Wake her up and she can kill them all every few days. When she's done just run away and she'll go back to sleep until you need her again. You really don't even need that many huts as the food you get will be far more than you'll ever need
Just a quick question. Do you know if the queen re-spawns if you kill her?
@@JohnMoore-fr5fd she doesn't respawn as far as I know. If you want to kill her you can for the bundling wrap. Or you can keep her alive for free food year round or until you have the resources for a new food farm. This one is just extremely easy to set up and you don't even need to spend tons of resources on walls unless you just want to. Bee queen will slaughter them and she heals after so you don't have to worry about them eventually killing her
@@ninjaruss4205 Bee Queen respawn, I usually farm her with bunny men (Only use 30 hut because I don't want the bunnymens to win so I can kill Bee queen last minute and collect the loot)
Hey Beard777 i love your videos as always, but recently i've been struggling to farm blue feathers during the winter. I think it would be a very interresting ideia for a new video.
Obs: When i say farm, i mean just like the video here, a lot! (Insert easy mode here).
Feather hats! Come Winter, just post up somewhere with a fire and thermal and bring along some ranged weapon of sorts and kill as many blue birds as you can! And if you or someone else is Wickerbottom, Birds of The World should be used!

If klei adds any sort of vacuum chest or automatic collection to the game, even if it was, say, add a lazy explorer to chester and he picks things up, that'd be game changing.

Great guide, i saw the annoiance of bunnymen in yesterday's stream :P
I'd add that for the late game, 4 houndius shootius with the fossil setup do a great job of farming bunnymen, doing it quite fast. They generally work the same as catapults with no AOE, but you don't need to refuel them and they don't break your walls, nor the winona to craft them. Sure they're expensive, but what s a better use for houndises anyway?
And from my experience, working with anenemies is just too annoying for me.

The way i farm nightmare fuel is taking Wendy to the ruins and having Abigail kill shadow splumonkeys. It’s not the most efficient way, but you also get beard hair, bananas, manure and morsels too. So i think it’s pretty good
the game loses all difficulty of finding food if you make a catapult farm with one of these, its actually upsetting
I mean, the same can be said with bunnymen farms in general really.
@@TheBeard777 yeah like granted making one allows you to focus on the other things but at that point it just becomes a adventure game not a survival game because food is almost always readily farmable

Hey beard. Iv been getting g back into dst recently and I haven't been able to get the fire version of the bunny men farm going. Iv looked at other videos (using Mini signs or grass like 8n ur video) and I can't seem to get it to work without burning some of the farm and some loot. My question is am I making a mistake or did the recent updates make this method not as reliable?
Unfortunately many fire farms and smoldering techniques have been significantly nerfed, yes. Quietly too.
The fire farm seems to not work anymore. I played a year ago, and it worked great, now... not so much.
I have set all kinds of different hings in there to burn: Grass, twigs trees, little signs, trees, and even littered the ground with logs.
All the items burn out, before the bunnymen start to die. I had to reload the farm twice to get bunny deaths, and then some of the bunnymen loot turned to ash, because they die at different times, even had to hand kill some because they get frozen, while others are ash.
Unfortunately Klei sneakily changed how smolder works one day without much warning so now pretty much all fire farms are useless...

@@coolloser85 There is always a portal where you can change your character. Change to the girl who can make catapults. Those take out bunnys super fast. Set up a bunch of catapults, then change back to your normal character.
What should I do if ice flingomatic keeps entering the emergency mode and extinguishes the fire before the bunnymens die? Or maybe its because its spring and takes longer to burn?
Spring would be a factor potentially, yes. That, or not enough burning.
Love your videos Beard! I have a world that reach 500 days and i want to do something big, i think beefalo taming and i play on PS4. That means i cant add mods so a dont know how many is the teaming so that is gonna be hard. I think im gonna watch your guide to do it. You are the best!

Hey beard, can you 'tell' me about tall bird FORTRESS farms as wikerbottom? I have at last found one in my worlds. And I know how to clear them out(with clops or bearger)
Then set up the walls around each nest and enjoy a meat/egg farm every two and a half days!

You need to trigger them first and then dig them up!

No, you need to force the game to think that the mobs can get out one way and regular walls don't do that. Mobs try to navigate around normal walls as best they can.
