Prep carts are indeed essential to the griddle, the more you use the griddle the more you know that a prep cart will become as important as any accessory. Love the recipe on the brisket tacos, good idea.

Just bought this yesterday as an Father's Day gift for me. Looking forward to using it and being a bit more organized when I am cooking. The basin is a great add. Love the flexibility of the cabinet with the shelves. Would that fit a propane tank? thanks

I have a Blackstone culinary grill. In the fall when it starts to freeze outside mice like to get in the drawers and cupboards on the cart and even on top of the covered griddle . I keep the area clean but they are looking for warm areas and probably smell the seasoned griddle. Now my cooking utensils are kept in a sealed plastic box. Watch how and what is stored outside.
Hey, Ron. Yes, you obviously have to know where you live, where your back porch is, etc. I’ve never had mice issues here but yes, you definitely need to eradicate pests if you have them.
Would a normal sized propane tank (like you would use for a grill) fit inside of the cabinet with the door?
Great recipe! Question, does it seem like you could possibly swap the side shelfs ? sink side to the right side and garbage to the left?

How I would LLLLOVE to have that cart outside!!! But, alas, park manager was already “chiding” me for having so many tools of my hobby in front, under my overhang for easy use during precipitation and hot sun (as if that was an end-of-world issue)… remember. I *still* have my late father’s Q-grill and a Genesis grill from mom as birthday present from 8 years ago… I use ALL of them-though, I HAVE been using the BS 36” for a LOT of Lauralee’s necessary meals for the cancer and ostomy, AND my sausage and peppers, AND a tak-off one of your classic stir-fries using chicken, corn and carrots! Lauralee LOVES that!!!
Anyway, back to the cart… Had I been able to have that SOMEWHERE “on deck” (still envious of your “pavilion” setup!), it would have reduced my running in and out of home tenfold!

I won’t be seeing you on Tour, probably, as - if Harborcreek is the only PA stop on the Eastern coast - Lauralee would not be able to withstand the 5.5-hour drive with her health issues; and, I have been her primary caretaker in her stage-4 cancer journey that will be one year in by the time you arrive… If the date is what I think it is, she will have come off one of her chemo treatments that weekend!

Hopefully, you can talk the powers that be to come to central PA (Lancaster/Harrisburg corridor-or midstate, as they like to call it) again, next time!

August is Walmarts clearance month for Blackstone products. I scored this exact prep cart for $125 last night (8-3-23)
I got mine for $80 yesterday
I just paid $50 for this exact one. Walmart had it on clearance.

I bought this same cart and yes they are very flimsy. I don't know why so many people think the blackstone products are so great when the quality is crap. Not tryin to upset anyone just giving my honest opinion

Way over priced. No thanks. There are far cheaper alternatives out there.
I wish blackstone would concentrate more on their griddle tops by fixing the issues with them.
That latest plate mod they came out with, just horrible surface heat control. They actually made it even worse.
And their hoods are terrible. They are flimsy, and you can`t use them other than to cover the griddle plate when your done using the griddle. Come on blackstone, you`re going backwards.

$500 for a table top , a drawer, and some cheap orange trays???...hard pass.

What ever happened to the 22 in pizza oven. Waited for it to hit the shelves. Never seen it my home town Walmart. That sucks.
It’s a huge seller. It’s available in stores or on the website. Obviously, Walmart doesn’t control what each of the 5000 Walmarts has in stock. Just order it online and have it shipped to your store for free! Don’t wait for it. It’s been on the shelves for over a year! One of the top sellers.
