This is the first fanmade Monster Hunter song with lyrics that actually gets the whole point of unity with nature and strength of a community. Usually it’s just “fighting stuff is cool look at you go!” Which is nice, but this hits that Monster Hunter itch perfectly.
Monster hunter doesn't even take that theme to heart. Sunbreak and tri I would say are the only ones that actually do this since literally every game the flagship does for no fucking reason and half the time ends up being the direct reason the end game monster shows up and causes more harm
@@redstinger0966 Which I think was part of the point of both World and Iceborne's story; in both stories the Fifth Fleet identified what they thought was the main problem, Zorah Magdaros and Nergigante in World and Velkhana in Iceborne, but, because they didn't understand the region, they wound up making the problem worse and then had to solve the bigger problem. Its rather realistic since thats something that happens a lot IRL such as the wold extermination programs in North America that the colonists had going or the ban on the smaller brushfires that west coast states enacted a couple decades ago.

Every monster has its honor. Its cause in melodies and its pride in song. It is not some mindless creature. It's a participant in the greatest community of all, Nature. Its anthem represents its will, its power. And when we are beaten and bruised by its might, who are we to deny them ours?
I like that this is very lore-accurate, since Monster Hunter doesn't often translate/localize everything in detail to English, and directly translated, there's a huge focus on conservation and Hunters essentially being forces of nature themselves, specifically to keep ecological balance. This is absolutely beautiful, every person involved did such a grest job eith this. That said, lets get into some writers insight. When writing this song i wanted to take elements from Monster Hunter lore, gameplay, and the community as a whole. The main chorus was the main building block for this song and its based around the for values of The Guild, Respect for nature, Prosperity for nature, Craft from nature, & Life as a community, in universe these are the core values of all hunters and i wanted them to have a bug part in this song because of thay. The gong is another thing mentioned a few times in the song, gongs play a slight role in the games being how you would signal to other players or hunters that you are looking for assistance on a quest, mix that with gongs playing a part in some hunts, I thought it fitting to be in the song. Beginning quests as well as expeditions are the core mechanic of Monster Hunter that determine how you go on missions to hunt monsters, add in the fact that "Village Quests" are the main store mode in monster hunter games, it's a good set of game mechanics mentioned. The line "one does not simply hunt to kill" is based on a core lore fact that some players don't always pay attention to, and that is in the lore Hunters only ever hunt monsters through guild sanctioned quests because the guild is very mindful not to over hunt monsters or upset the balance they have with monsters as in the past over hunting has lead to the Great Dragon War and the near extinction of humans, that is the main reason the guild exists and so it's a great reference to have. Honor comes from that and so Guild sanctioned Hunters tend to be viewed as having honor and strong wills and this is reflected in how they hunt monsters as well. Taking this a step further, when we have seen stores of other hunters in games or movies, they always like to show them finding a strength they didn't have before in order to save their village and so I wanted to give that a moment to shine as well. Also referring to Monsters as "a force of nature" is in reference to how Elder Dragons are treated in lore, these aren't just monsters, these are the embodiment of nature itself, and fighting one is fighting nature itself which is no easy fest. As for the mention of "a memory that won't fade" this was meant to be more of a reference to players of Monster Hunter. While I myself didn't grow up with Monster Hunter, others who inspire me have such as RageGamingVideos who got me into the franchise. Many creators I watch all bring up how they have such strong memories of certain hunts from their past and that was something I felt worth adding to this song because this is a franchise that means a lot to many people. One thing I wanted to include that I just couldn't quite sneak in was references to the different game names, the problem is most of them are just numbers with the few like Freedom Unite, Frontier, or Stories. I did manage to get a reference to Monster Hunter Explore in there, but it's a game that didn't leave Japan so it's a very small reference. Through the song I mentioned a sword a few times and that's mostly because I personally play the greatest weapon, Sword and Shield, thanks to the wonderful JoCat and so when I wanted to reference a weapon type, I stuck with that. It's also partially because the tutorial weapons tend to be SnS or Longsword with a good number of weapons being swords of some kind so it's just an easy choice. But for the most part, that's some insight into the writing of this song! Now however, we move onto complements! As I said above, everyone involved did such a wonderful job here. The song sounds amazing, the visuals are stunning, and the vocals used are beautiful, but, I get more detailed than that in these complements. They managed to capture the Monster as this stunningly terrifying creature, while also highlighting it's beauty at the same time. And of course the shapes and colors used to bring the Hunter to life is also just beautiful. The design on it while simple being just Odogaron armor with a Raging Brachydios SnS, they captured it just perfectly and conveyed the emotion of the piece just right. Yes! YES! YES! Every Monster Hunter song that I’ve found before this always goes the route of “Hunters kill kill tear monsters apart, the monsters fear for their lives, Hunters are savage killers destroying everything for fun”, which I absolutely hate. But this one truly understands the true meaning and purpose of Monster Hunters. Respectful of nature and fighting to keep peace whenever they can. Honestly, thank you and your team so much for finally putting the true sense of the series into lyrical song.
I'm curious have you heard place in nature by miracle of sound. I'll admit it's a little more ferocious then this but I've interpreted it as a rise to the challenge theme versus the other mh songs I've found
The start of something wonderful. There are so many songs that can be done like this from the MH series. As a veteran hunter of 8 years, I applaud this. You all did an amazing job!
OH MY GOG YOU'VE ACTUALLY DONE A MONHUN SONG AAAAHHHHH!!!! I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!! If you ever plan on doing more osts from the monhun franchise, i can reccomend vaal hazak, oltura final phase, and nergigante as a few great songs that would go AMAZING with lyrics!

Ok, there are probably way too many great individual monster themes for him to do any, *but* Either Scorching Blade, Electric Rebel, Bewitching Dance, or Steady Mountain PLEASE any of them would be good
This is pretty impressive. I've been a fan of the Monster Hunter series for years now. First game i played was Tri, and it made me instantly love the franchise. The lyrics you wrote depict Monster Hunter perfectly. Hunters don't hunt simply to kill monsters. That's why capture is an option for large monsters, sometimes even your objective. It's all about maintaining the balance of nature. The best part about the lyrics you wrote? Proof of a Hero is the song that always plays during the battle with Fatalis, the Black Dragon itself. Thank you so much for giving this song lyrics.
Damn, give my favourite gaming franchise some recognition and you're sure to make me click in a heartbeat :D Wonderful song! The "crafting only what we need" definitely doesn't fit the actual gameplay perspective, but from a lore perspective, it's wonderful and fitting xD
The most impressive part of this, and there is much to be impressed by but you actually also referenced the lore and key pillars that make the Hunter’s Guild what it is. The four swords I heard you reference when the song got softer, which was amazing. INCREDIBLE JOB, I APPLAUD YOU!!
You and your crew of vocalists deserve so much more attention- I may have only started the franchise with Generations Ultimate, but Proof of a Hero is a certified staple of video game music! The lyrics hit harder than a Plesioth's hip check and I am left wondering at the possibilities of other monster themes- maybe Shara Ishvalda's, or Malzeno/Gaismagorm since it was a recent game? Regardless, you did excellent work with this and I eagerly await future works!
Yes monster hunter lyrics. Now does this mean we could possibly get elder dragon themes with lyrics in the future? If so i hope we get either gore magala or Fatalis.
Un hermosa pieza para todo fan de Monster Hunter. En otras palabras estar en equilibrio con la naturaleza, y estar a la altura de los más peligrosos monstruos.
I never thought I’d see the day Moti covers a Monster Hunter song… Not to mention that they’d capture the *essence* of the franchise with its most iconic track! Impeccable work, folks! May RNGesus bless all of your future hunts!

There are few things I ever actually put on my favorites playlist You've earned a spot It's a good song that hits home what monster hunter is ACTUALLY about
This. This right here. I've listen to your lyrics for Dark Pit's Theme so many times, because of how perfect they are for the character, and more often than not your lyrics fit the song on question flawlessly. But this right here, hits even harder than anything else I've heard from you. As a fan that's played 4U, Gen/GU, both Stories games, and Rise, I cannot express how happy this makes me when I listen. What makes it all the more sweet to my ears, is the fact my Hunter in each game I begin has developed into this backstory of "Rathian Hybrid" that's the closest thing to what these lyrics describe: the bridge between people and nature, and the one keeping them in balance. Keep on giving us these song lyrics, Man on the Internet, they are always perfection.
Hello man on the internet im a relatively new monster hunter i only played during iceborne and before this version of the song i didn't really get the song then this happened and... wow it just hit me with exactly how i felt playing this game so from the bottom of my heart thank you this is a wonderful adaptation of the song
This gives me nostalgia to the days of MH3U. First heard it while fighting Jhen Mohran in the solo quests. As soon as I hit it with the dragonator, I was filled with confidence. Its scream, combined with this music told me one thing: I could defeat it. At that point, it didn't matter that it was over 100 times my size, towering over me and my ship. I could kill it. The fact I hear it now with these vocals re-awakened these feelings. Thank you, Man on the Internet. May your next hunt be fruitful.

I would absolutely LOVE for these amazing people to cover the various Monster Hunter themes, singing from the perspective of the monsters. Imagine Astalos, Bazelgeuse- VALSTRAX-
I absolutely love how you did the lyrics for this song. It conveys the boldness and inspiration the hunters guild brings to the world, but also displays their ideal of balance. The games and world on the surface look like they depict just a mass slaughter of these creatures, but this is in fact not true. Hunters only hunt creatures that either pose a direct threat to a community or ecosystem, or to research them to get a better understanding. It’s why Monoblos are no longer hunted as in the Monster Hunter world they are endangered due to their environment dwindling so the guild has banned their hunting, hence why they haven’t appeared as huntable in any of the recent games. The same idea goes for hunting Mizutsune as in the games we only hunt male mizutsune during mating season because they go crazy, wild, and destructive during mating season. However you will never hunt a female mizutsune because they are very peaceful and gentle creatures. The guild has its reasons as lore wise for these ideals, that I won’t go into because I don’t want to spoil the lore. Overall excellent job conveying what being a Monster Hunter means and staying in balance with nature. Would love to see other songs from this series.

This is amazing. Beautiful lyrics. Beautiful voices. Beautiful harmonies. Keep up the good work y'all
Any rendition of Proof of a Hero always never fails to give me the chicken skin
Yes! YES!
Finally one that doesn't need a visit from a Guild Knight, yeah.
@@danieljames1868 Exactly
@@danieljames1868 "we gotta kill the monster it called me fat" songs/quests really do need a guild knight, yeah.
Well yeah, but who dont love when you get gears and play "Monsters May Cry"?
I'm curious have you heard place in nature by miracle of sound. I'll admit it's a little more ferocious then this but I've interpreted it as a rise to the challenge theme versus the other mh songs I've found
The lyrics are on point on what it means to be a Hunter, a MONSTER HUNTER!
Hearing the Fatalis theme shift into Proof of a Hero is among the most memorable parts of MH World for me.
It is no longer Fatalis’s theme, it’s YOUR theme.
Omg... that can mean... vocals for some monsters theme? DISUFIROA...?! CRIMSON FATALIS CHORUS?!!?
The start of something wonderful. There are so many songs that can be done like this from the MH series. As a veteran hunter of 8 years, I applaud this. You all did an amazing job!
OH MY GOG YOU'VE ACTUALLY DONE A MONHUN SONG AAAAHHHHH!!!! I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!!!
If you ever plan on doing more osts from the monhun franchise, i can reccomend vaal hazak, oltura final phase, and nergigante as a few great songs that would go AMAZING with lyrics!
FINALLY, i was wondering why there isn't a monster hunter related one up until now
As a Monster Hunter fan, I have to applaud you
I tried to play monster hunter I couldn't kill the t rex
@@IkeReviews y'mean anjanath? Well, you just have to expert your weapon and know to dodge damages. Not that hard. But if just cant, try gunlance, just guard and attack after attack. Btw only attack after the monster attacked. That's how you play monster hunter
@@ZhongbenHu Or counter-attack in response to the monster's attack if you're a Long Sword user like myself.
ITS LORE ACCURATE. WTF
Man on the Internet provides quality and detail. I have never known him to compose a song without immersing in the lore and using it to write a love letter.
I'd reccomend checking out his other stuff.
As a Monster Hunter fan I have nothing, but praise for this incredible cover! Excellent work you guys!
PLEASE WE NEED MORE MONSTER HUNTER COVERS BY YOU GUYS
As a huge Monster Hunter Fan, this is amazing, this fits so well and sounds amazing, perfect for the ultimate Monster Hunter theme and fitting for the end of 5 gen.
Monster Hunter if it had a Disney film adaptation.
MAD RESPECT to you guys for making this, it's fire.
Like how the lyrics are about the hunter’s code while being inspirational, I approve as a mh fan
I really love this, as a Monster Hunter fan this feels like blessing. And understanding what is a Hunter in the world of Monster Hunter.
Ok armour check! Charge Blade check! My emotional state to hearing this iconic theme with lyrics….HYPE!!!!!!
Ok, there are probably way too many great individual monster themes for him to do any, *but*
Either Scorching Blade, Electric Rebel, Bewitching Dance, or Steady Mountain PLEASE any of them would be good
I almost screamed like a fucking banshee when I saw the notification for this as I am a GIANT Monster Hunter fan!
Such powerful lyrics. I love it and would love to see how one tackles Roar Rathalos.
you have no idea how long I've been waiting for something like this. thank you beautiful souls
I just got done with another Flaming Espinas hunt with no mantle to see this. Definitely cheers me up.
YO HOLY SHIT I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT THIS MORNING!!!! AS A MONSTER HUNTER FAN, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
An amazing lyrics video, Proof of a Hero is the pinnacle of "this is where an ordinary person becomes a hero"
Damn, give my favourite gaming franchise some recognition and you're sure to make me click in a heartbeat :D Wonderful song! The "crafting only what we need" definitely doesn't fit the actual gameplay perspective, but from a lore perspective, it's wonderful and fitting xD
This was so powerful, impactful, inspiring, and beautiful! This anthem really brought a tear to my eye.
The most impressive part of this, and there is much to be impressed by but you actually also referenced the lore and key pillars that make the Hunter’s Guild what it is. The four swords I heard you reference when the song got softer, which was amazing. INCREDIBLE JOB, I APPLAUD YOU!!
WELL THIS IS WELL TIMED
I just got into monster hunter YESTERDAY
I will die a happy man if we get more Monster Hunter music on this channel
Imagine if they did Bazel or Jho...
@@greenhydra10Bazel would just be explosions and Jho is someone screaming "IM HUNGRY" lmao
I’ve been wanting this for ages now! I was surprised nobody had done it, but now you guys have finally done it. And by god its beautiful
This just brings tears of joy to my eyes i love the mh series and hearing an lyric adoptation of an mh song is just beitiful
It is both a privilege and an honor to be a part of the monster hunter community. I am proud to be a part of it
Yes monster hunter lyrics. Now does this mean we could possibly get elder dragon themes with lyrics in the future? If so i hope we get either gore magala or Fatalis.
If I had background vocals like these at the final phase, maybe I would not have died as much at Fatalis... Great work, as usual!
We, hunters from near and far, salute you artists for this beloved ballad.
FINALLLYYYYY!!!!! I LOVE IT! Please do more from this series!
Bro I'm crying right now. They captured the spirit of Monster Hunter perfectly! Both the game and the sense of community it provides.
More than a song, it's should be the Guild's anthem
Why can I see this as every Hunter in the game’s series doing this like their singing the Pledge of Allegence?
HOLY MOLY THIS SOUNDS LIKE AN ACTUAL ANTHEM FOR THE WHOLE MONSTER HUNTER COMMUNITY
"we just kill to keep the balance, and also because we are afraid Fatalis will beat us up again".
-some hunter after the great war.
I never thought I’d see the day Moti covers a Monster Hunter song…
Not to mention that they’d capture the *essence* of the franchise with its most iconic track!
Impeccable work, folks! May RNGesus bless all of your future hunts!
I salute you, Man on the Internet... I goddamn salute you...
As of playing this game for 5 years since I started world and waiting for everything else from that to come I was so happy I am glad to be a fan of Monster Hunter
I was getting bored of monster hunter after losing all my progress to a console transfer but this song has given new wife to the fire that is my love e for monster hunter. Thank you so much, I will not give up, I must help the new world, for Astera. MAY SAPPHIRE STAR LIGHT OUR WAY!!!!!
Now I'm just waiting for the monsters to sing their theme songs
It will probably be more similar to what they did with Molgera.
There are few things I ever actually put on my favorites playlist
You've earned a spot
It's a good song that hits home what monster hunter is ACTUALLY about
Truely thank you for the Monster hunter music it is amazing to see MonHun on this channel
I have nothing but praise to give. As a Monster Hunter fan, this tugged at my heartstrings. I even sang along! Thank you, and Happy Hunting!
I actually asked hard enough for this. it took me 20 days of asking, (about 32 skipped days) but we did it boys.
Damn, as a mh fan I gotta say that this made me tear up a bit
Hello man on the internet im a relatively new monster hunter i only played during iceborne and before this version of the song i didn't really get the song then this happened and... wow it just hit me with exactly how i felt playing this game so from the bottom of my heart thank you this is a wonderful adaptation of the song
TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO BE A MONSTER HUNTER FAN
Wasn’t expecting a Monster Hunter cover, and damn what a good cover it is!
I did not expect this and now I'm obsessed with it
This gives me nostalgia to the days of MH3U.
It's.... I'm not crying.... It's beautiful😭
I never thought you'd do something Monster Hunter related. This is amazing!
I never thought that a song like this would ever have lyrics with it, and i'm blown away by the creativity of this song
it's beautiful.....i can't believe it im crying right now.....i'm new to the Monster Hunter series but i've played and learned enough to consider myself a fan and this.....i get all the essence and spirit that the Monster Hunter saga entails, congratulations, it is extremely spectacular ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🌟🌟🌟🌟
I will play it every time I fight Fatalis in Monster Hunter World
Now I yearn for more monster hunter lyrics
Shagaru, Velk, and Rajang especially for me.
The allmother theme is basically asking for a lyrical cover
That's the first and only PROOF OF A HERO.
I've only been a fan of the franchise since recently but this is an absolutely sick rendition of proof of a hero with the lyrics
IT HAPPENED BOYS, MOTI made a Monster Hunter cover!
I can't believe it. I've wanted this for so long...
If I were to reccomend another MH song for a cover, it would be Safi'jiiva. That theme would be even more of a banger with lyrics.
This is gonna be a great song to Sword&Shield to.

Me explaining why killing 30 of the same specimen with the purpose of obtaining a gem is "Keeping balance"
Words can’t describe how happy I am to see this exists-
Good luck in that job interview with capcom my man. You are seriously talented and so is your team.
Thank you! Those are very kind words ^^ we all do our best here and I'm glad people have loved this song so many put a lot of effort into.
This is the first time I’ve found your channel. And I’m hooked. This is the first time I’ve ever heard a song depict the essence of monster Hunter so perfectly.
I would absolutely LOVE for these amazing people to cover the various Monster Hunter themes, singing from the perspective of the monsters.
Imagine Astalos, Bazelgeuse- VALSTRAX-
*RAGING BRACHYDIOS*
AS A FREAKIN INSANE MH FAN THANK YOU this brings me to tears because RIP monster hunter rise
Well now we need MORE Monster Hunter tracks
I will always love this game!!
Please make more of this!!!❤
Now Monster Hunter truly does have its own anthem.
I always wonder what it would be like of that theme had lyrics.
I've been waiting for this!
May the sapphire star guide your way!
Finally...a song that gets what Monster Hunter is truly about...
Is the cover good? Yes
Do the lyrics fit? Also yes
Is it a coincidence that the cover came out a few days after the end of gen 5? Maybe.
Trust me, the timing couldn't have been better, and this has been slated to come out before we knew it was the end of gen 5 this week.
never thought anyone could make a lyrics for this song xD you guys are good
Yes, I was hoping you would do something with monster hunter with its amazing sound track.
Brings a tear to my eyes beautiful
I’ve never had a song bring me to tears before until I heard this version of Proof of a Hero. Well done you guys!!!
