  • In this episode we dive into another fun release from the famed Swiss brand Victorinox. I love the INOX line, the idea, the execution of them, the overall aesthetic, there's a lot to love. My recent review of their INOX Carbon Mechanical took me to what I considered the pinnacle of the line but many still tie the spirit of the INOX line to those original torture tests conducted on the original steel & quartz combination and I can totally see why. The absolute tank like durability makes for a compelling package, so as much as I love mechanical automatic movements, a quartz powered INOX, still very much speaks to me. Which brings us to their new I.N.O.X. Carbon Limited Edition. Wow, this thing is full loaded, like literally, comes in a pelican style case, loaded full of accessories and options. Sure, it won't be for everyone, with it's $1000 price tag but for those 1,500 so bold enough to venture out and purchase one of these, man is this an impressive package. Let me know what you all think in the comments below, thanks guys!

The problem is to change the straps. It i difficult and the carbon gets marks or even breaks negar the strap hole.

I've never owned a Victorinox before. I'm getting closer to buying one. Just NOT this one. Not for $1K...... Great review of the watch and accompanying pieces. Thanks for posting the video.

@@istvantoth7431 I never understood why guys get hung up on quartz watch second hands not hitting the markers. Go to a watch store and see how many quartz watches second hands hit every minute marker exactly.

Some really cool kit with that package. When you first opened the case I thought there was a lot of real estate inside for just the watch. Then you pulled up the liner. Ha ha. This would be great for any outdoorsman. Very cool design. Only worries would be having the quartz go bad after warranty after paying a pretty good price. But overall this is rugged stuff.

For the lame to work at night, do you have to take a flashlight to it first?

I've gotta give it to Victorinox for this Limited Edition; it's actually a GOOD limited edition that gives you a few very unique and cool extras that are useful and not just gimmicky.
I was "impressed" by the small pocket knife that has the springbar tool. I always have a Victorinox tool on me and a small one on my keychain, but the one I have has the nail file and flat-head screwdriver, not the springbar.

The knives cost more than the watch.
