    • @LlyonaFang
      @LlyonaFang Месяц назад +3

      the elephant is super smart and i notice it applies force to push the tree at set intervals rather than a high velocity strike. its using the natural resonant frequency of the tree kind of like a pendulum to amplify how much it leans by going with the flow, crazy how it "knows" about these physics principles and finds an efficient way to topple it without necessarily having the strength of hydraulics

      I don't think this video should be praised for living up to its title. Let's review the title together.
      "Elephant Casually Pushes Down Massive Tree."
      The behavior of the elephant isn't casual enough to satisfy me. No, this elephant is deliberately straining against the tree. This contest is slightly challenging for the elephant. Afterwards, the elephant played it off by resuming its normally casual demeanor & gait etc. But we know better. We know that the elephant exerted himself just a few moments earlier.
      I'm NOT saying that we should vote this video thumbs down. I'm just saying that we should reserve our praise for the videos that really do a good job.

    What a demonstration of strength. If I can't climb to the top, I have my way to bring it down

    He's not just using resonance; he's also using his weight and the geometry of his frame to maximize his force at the optimum moment. Snapped that huge trunk right in two. Amazing!
    Pure vandalism.

    God you know how strong you have to be to push over a tree like that? Elephants are smart to know that they can even do that.

    I want to hear from an expert. Whether this activity also part of food chain cycle or it is going to disturb local environment if more elephants start falling down such giant trees.

    notice how the elephant knows not to push it with constant force but rather use the natural resonant frequency of how the tree sways to amplify how much it is pushed each time, which is a more efficient application of energy rather than using brute force. that's intelligent

    The one who pulls down the tree is real king of the jungle.
    Lion, Leopard, Rhino tried. They all failed.
    Elephant came! What a power!😮

    Destroying a 30-year-old tree so you can eat the leaves off the top. How majestic! Elephants are my favorite animals behind porcupines.

    Just in case if you tried to escape an elephant chase by climbing up a tree thinking that the elephant can't climb up trees.
