It's not all about strength. Cats don't need powerful jaws because of the prominence of their canine teeth. Canine species like hyenas have smaller canine teeth therefore require stronger jaws. Cats can focus that pressure on the tiny points of their longer canines, making them more efficient at killing using less energy.

Footage from 0:54 to 1:17 features the lion known as Ntwadumela which means "he who greets with fire". Unfortunately he was shut down by poachers but he was known for not only being ferocious against hyenas but mostly because in comparison to other lions that defend themselves against hyenas or protect their pride or food, Ntwadumela was tracking them and killing them for sport, he knew that killing the hyena matriarch would defeat the rest of the pack directly and was going for it. Don't recall the exact number but I think he had more than 25 hyenas killed during his lifetime. And i'm willing to be corrected by experts but I also think that the lion breaking the back of the hyena is still Ntwadumela.
Ony part I disagree with is Ntwadumela killing hyenas for sport. He was killing with the purpose to weaken there pack and strengthen his pride. That's not for sport.
Ntwadumela killed over 40 hyenas in his lifetime. The back story of this attack is also fascinating, the attack was orchestrated by the matriarch hyena by dividing her clan into three groups of 7, 10, and 6 each after closely observing his & his brother's previous attacks and fighting styles with other hyena clans. That attack itself resulted in around 10 or more hyenas dead at the hands of two brothers.

You missed something big about Cheetas. They have low stamina; they're basically out of energy after they run down and catch their prey. No chance to fight; cheetas often leave their food behind if encountered. Doesn't matter what animal it is.
No organize out there can sustain all out physical effort for any sustained amount of time cheetahs may tire out easily running at 60+ mph but they would have no issue running at 20-40 mph for a significant period of time
Bullshit, they have low stamina. If any other animal ran at 70 mph, they would be out of breath as well. A cheetah can easily pace at 40mph without breaking a sweat. However, when I cheetah chases it prey, its heart rate hits 225 bpm, its entire blood volume circulates through its body once every 20 seconds and like a I said if any other animal hit 70mph for 500 meters they would be winded as well. The real issue with the cheetah is that its body temperature rises up and if it gets to high the cheetah will literally fire its brain. For any animal to hit the same speed as a cheetah, its muscles would also generate heat. To say an animal that runs 70 mph has no stamina is simply ridiculous.

That attack itself resulted in around 10 or more hyenas dead at the hands of two brothers.
the matriarch also killed one of his cubs so he had a vendetta.@@SinghCharan
@@Marcustheseer Lions hate hyenas - and it's pure hatred, if they can kill hyenas - they'll & vice versa. Lions go for complete obliteration when in absolute power - Mopogos, Sekekama, or any other alliance with significant power.
That dynamic is always filled with an element of vendetta, though I don't believe that in the animal kingdom vendetta exists as humans consider it to be (except for documentary narrations to make the stories exciting). It's driven by the will to survive and capture the territories with the most prey and eliminate potential future & current enemies.

WOW - The donkeys are my favourite of all. They're so hardcore: I never would have thought donkeys would do this. ❤
That's cos we don't usually think full stop.
You missed something big about Cheetas. They have low stamina; they're basically out of energy after they run down and catch their prey. No chance to fight; cheetas often leave their food behind if encountered. Doesn't matter what animal it is.
If you ran a burst of 40 mph you would be too.
Indeed. And their bite is definitely not more crushing than a hyena's, unike what he said.
