Hi Chris , March is a really busy month for us with the campsite we always have lots to do to prepare for the spring rush / season starting So I would say the resting is over now , we are flat out with a huge to do list !! The lovely sunrises and nice days are not frequent enough but they lift the spirits x

The sun rises are beautiful, we haven’t had enough of them ( sun not visible ! ) it’s been so grey on the whole ! But when we see the sun it’s so special !! Hopefully some more sunrises to look forward to this spring

cold and windy here for most of the week also .........wind dropped today much nicer to be out in .......very little rain here this last few days drying is good which is just what we need as the land was in slop up till now .... real march weather .........we got a wet feb also .....no harm ........the old saying ....a dry feb curses the summer ...... was true last year ........so hope we get a bit of a normal summer this year ........! least its bright till near 7 pm these evenings...!..

You have a wonderful visual capture of the Sunrises/Crisp Hard Frosty Grass/Sun burning the Mist & the Ewes & its nice seeing that smile on your face with the sunny drier weather - I was in Cromford on 1st March The Old Lock-Up Gallery so experienced it Sleety/Hail on the roof & then mammoth Sunshine on top of Black Rocks. I follow Buxton weather on FB & our climate is definitely a rocky road. Natural Beauty definitely gives me a boost & yes high has a kite for a while. @@DaleFarm Hi Joanna Yes , I've been watching croly farm and farmer P and and channel Ireland . I don't know what to say. . Too much rain . And we are the opposite .the dryest winter for most of the states . Texas panhandle has had fires already killing a lot of cattle . All you can do is your best and you two are . It's a sunny day in Utah but the air and wind is bitter . Thankyou again . Ps I saw tiny violets in the lawn .so nice .

Beautiful footage of the fog and misty scenery. Joanna, you and Nick certainly had extremly tough and testing weather conditions to contend with. The weather statistics for February that you quoted well and truly reflect what a grim and dismal time it's been for you both and of course, the livestock. IMHO though you and Nick have done an incredibly good job caring for your cattle and sheep in the exceedingly challenging conditions. It's clear for all to see that your livestock are in very good condition thanks to your efforts. Excellent work. Joanna, I hope your mum's wrist is well and truly on the mend. Hi Jeff, mum is doing good with her recovery which is a relief ! She had the wrist pinned together ! Here it’s still winter and we had sleet, hail, rain, storms , strong winds and tonight it’s sounding awful outside !! It feels like I’m being driven out of the uk… I can’t live and work in conditions this miserable!! It’s too much of a struggle , maybe in the long run I can go and farm somewhere else xxx

Yes Joanna we can cope with cold frosty morning with beautiful sun rises and sun set - the constant rain gets on your last nerve - I remember last winter my brother commenting I can cope with winter but this rain has to stop, we had around 3 weeks of it - normally were I am in the top of the south island of nz we have 12-16 degree winter days and frosty night (normally)
We have hardly any cold and frosty days it’s been mostly wet and it keeps going and going even when we think surely it can’t carry on raining this much,,,, it does!! I think agree it’s very much worn me down this winter x
@@DaleFarm been watching a youtuber in the UK they are lambing at the moment - because there has been no frost and the ground is so wet they have been having a joint ill is a problem so keep that one in mind as you will be lambing shortly
I used to hunt with a friend that had a useless hunting dog named snot, he would always say snot was running a rabbit. The dog was standing right with us, and I’d point that out. He would wipe his nose and say snots running! You need a dog.😂
And then there's 'April showers bring May flowers' to sometimes complicate things. Here across the A-pond it seems these last few months we've experienced all four seasons each month - extremes of hot, cold, rainy and windy. The new normal I guess...but I don't like it one bit! I have drunk more wine this last year to cope - I guess that's an upside...and helps me grin and bear it all! Anyhoo...glorious pheasant you videoed! Keep smiling...the Sun is always there. i like how you sometimes just focus in on something like the pheasant on top the wall or rain drops landing on the puddles and of course the sunrise and the mist lifting.......there's not always a need for a lot of chit chat sometimes those little moments caught on camera are better than a thousand words. we've had a pretty dry week in Devon right up to saturday then saturday and sunday (9th/10th march ) boy has it rained.......probably inch and halve of rain over the 2 days......depressing
Yeah Gerald we have had heavy rain since last night here absolutely foul!! But last week was much better , mostly dry. I am glad you also enjoy the little snippets of life’s joys / natures treasures … I agree you don’t need to say anything!!

It’s lovely we have had a spell of misty days when the farm is in fog but sometimes we can get above the fog it’s very spectacular
