This is a gem of an explanation for any1 who is studying plant engineering first time as it incorporates practical aspects of it something which often lacks in classroom...
If a young person wants to work in power generation there are some great videos here to help you under basic operations. There are usually jobs available in various parts of the country. You can be a plant operator, a control room operator, a welder/ mechanic, electrician or in instrumentation. Some times a lot of hard work but you usually have time to learn more in your field. The opportunity is there. Go to technical colleges, get degrees or some where you can get a certificate of course completion and go for it. You will never get there if you don’t put in the effort. Mike Rowe works with organizations to do just this. I believe that with manufacturing jobs coming back from over seas markets there will be an increased demand for good, well trained people. It’s up to YOU. Take advantage while you are young because it gets harder as you get older. Good Luck and God Bless👍🇺🇸🤙😃🙏
This video is actually just one segment from a larger training video. And that video is part of a larger series of about 12 industrial training videos, all on steam boilers. The paper mill I used to work at had the whole series as required viewing for training in the utilities department. Good videos, I wish I could have digitized copies to keep.
Only missed using the term Generator tubes, the small O.D. numerous bank of tubes running from Steam Drum To Mud Drum which helps maintain correct levels of water in the Stem Drum and is plays a major role in early steam generation as well as the screen tubes, pulling double duty as the fire screen for the Superheater and having support clips to hold the rows of SH tubes in place while allowing for thermal expansion. There are also internals in the upper drum which direct steam to cyclone seperators to rid the steam of excess moisture before entering the superheater.
I am very impressed with your work, it is very wonderful and very proficient. I am a plumbing and central heating technician and a senior water network operator. I install hot water boilers and maintain diesel burners. Do you have a vacancy for me? I would be very grateful to you.
thank you very much these video helps alot about understanding water cycly inside bioler i wanna ask that then how water and steam become separeted if theres no boiler drum becs dryyers are located o the top of boiler drum
Question : Steam is converted to water in condenser only because it could pump back water or there is any other reason too that steam isn't just recirculated but condensed first? Thanks in advance
I hope to be an engineer to design Both Water tubes & Fire tubes boilers! I know well how each type of boilers works! I have short experience of boiler designs in Korea. My most career is for Pressure vessels & Heat exchangers(as per TEMA), as a mechanical(ASME code) & thermal(TEMA exchangers) engineer.
😮Soooo there is no reason why the source of heat can't be generated by induction technology! Makeing it very cost effective. Yet; I can not find induction tech heater systems?!! Why not? Hint Hint; this os a billion dollar idea! I don't give a flick who makes the money; I just want to be able to have one in my cold @$$ home!
Learnt more than my whole "Power Plant Engineering" course. Thanks a bunch!

This is the best expanation of how things work in a boiler, and I've seen so far, and I've seen like ten... great job.
I agree completely with you!!!👍
The best explanation I had appreciated amongst all boiler basics! The videos were superb!

Thanx alot
thx for wise words
شكرا جزيلا 😍
Am interested

Lovely explanation and super interesting illustrations
Awesome video! Thank you! Very informative! And well explained visually.
Learnt alot from this video, thanks
Operated a Super Critical B&W for 9 years.. Turbine stages VHP, HP, IP and 3 LP sections 650MW. Nice video
You rock man
Excellent explanation.
Thanks!
Very informative, well expalain. Kudos to you sir.
Very helpful video compared to most on YT.
Amazing explanation thank you !
Very good explanation _ really appreciated.
Great job
Nice explanation...
I ❤️ the explanation of the boiler working and process
Detailed video. Loved it.
Very well explained, great video
Great video as usually

Thank you for pronouncing turbine correctly - turban.
Outstanding vedio.
Thank you very much Dear Sir, very Nicely Explained.. 👌

very very helpful!:)
Perfect illustration and explanation ❤️
Excellent explanation...
I love this cause make me more competent about Boiler
Great explain Dude👍
Just became a plant utility operator. Very hard work but worth it
fantastic video
amazing to start day of boiler system studying
I wish this guy was my lecturer.... This would've been 10x easier
توضیحات عالی🙏👌
What a master!
I love the word "superheater"
Question : Steam is converted to water in condenser only because it could pump back water or there is any other reason too that steam isn't just recirculated but condensed first?
Thanks in advance
yes it's converted to water as pump cannot handle two phase mixture.
Just fabulous
How clearer could that be? Thanks.
old videos are the best
very helpful
Well done
Nice video
I am looking for more advanced information. Can anyone provide a link?
sir make the videos on fresh water generator in detail....everything covered..
So lovely
make more video it sustainly help us...........
Almost same this boiler at my ship
The illustrations made are very good and self explanatory.... However the end of this video is abrupt and it feels like one is left in between
Verygood

And, It's interesting in decreasing a effect of Natural Circulation when Operating pressure increases due to decrease of density difference.
hey I hope you doing good, please teach me about both water tube boilers and fire tube boilers, Thank you.

Who is this Prof. , name or his videos?
Where to get these videos? Original source
++++
we need the source videoes anyone can help?
grandeeeee eroe
Long time ago i hane a dream want to work in power station boiler water
Who is this professor ?
