    MM "A" School 1981 - I would have thought I'd have seen this but don't recall such a decent overview being presented on film.

      This is mostly about the boiler systems and water, if you want a detailed video about steam turbans, there is a 50 min video about steam turbans, their operation, safety system, the condensers and evaporators plus detailed explanation about the HP, IP and low pressure turbans, it is here on RUclips 😁

    Unfortunately not a very good explanation as he is using many terms which he does not previously define and also he is at times vague as to which part of the cycle he is referring to.

      You do understand that this video is for explanation of the BASICS to Men who have a very low probability of surviveability after stepping foot aboard, right?

    I want one.. Super heated Steam, literally explodes when it is released thru a low pressure valve...
    As simple as it is, They still won't put this system in cars.. It won't generate as much Profit for the Car companies.. Not enough parts to make..

    • @hmpeter
      @hmpeter 4 года назад +8

      Why would you want that in a car? You would not reach the efficacy of a modern diesel engine, but with lots of complexity, adding weight and cost. Not a lot customers would want cars that are heavy, expensive, cumbersome to operate and inefficient in fuel use, just to have a steam engine.

      You're an idiot, it has already been tried, in the early 20th century. It was found impracticable.

      Do some research before claiming something, you're not only a danger to your own education, but you also put new students with little experience in your line of thinking.

      They can get it down to 30 seconds or so , with a sub system . . but, even that's too long .
