Very clear and concise on how to do a blowdown!
Excellent way to describe blowdown procedure
Good explanation
Great video, thanks.

When blowing down of steam is done after 20sec and the drain valve is closed. Upon opening the the water valve to read the level in the boiler, will the water overcome the steam pressure?
No, the water level will promptly equalize with the level in the drum, because the steam piping ventilates back to the drum. The water level should stabilize very quickly, unless there is a blockage in the piping or the isolation valves are not fully opened.

you all prolly dont care but does anybody know of a way to get back into an instagram account..?
I somehow lost the account password. I love any help you can give me!
@Shawn Israel instablaster ;)
@Skylar Kendrick Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm trying it out now.
Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Skylar Kendrick it did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much you saved my account :D
@Shawn Israel Happy to help xD
I think 20 seconds is not enough in case of globe valves operation. They take time for full operation (full open or full close) and ball valves are not installed on the said circuit. Also in the case of globe valves, valves operating positions are not given in the video. Partial opening of the valve shall decrease the valve seat life.
Curious, what to do?? 🧐🧐
1. If you have an installation with valves that may require more than 20 seconds to manipulate, you may have to exceed the recommended 20 second duration described in our procedure. However, the duration should be kept to a minimum amount of time. Our procedure is a guideline offered to assist operators with the majority of typical installations.
2. Valve position is important to the operator. A trained operator should be educated on the valves in their particular boiler installations. Otherwise, they should seek guidance from the valve manufacturer.
We thank you for your comments.

Many operators in some plants never blow down level indicator piping on the dearaetor and condensate tanks.
Any idea bruh..why some of them did not blow down the lvl.indic..
@@SeaMarinerosVlog They may be worried about tripping the feed water pumps as most they are connected to a low water switch.
Neat and clean in simple words explanation thanks
he forgets to mention any bypass button well doing it so you do not trip. we do a daily pm for insurance purposes @@danq.5140
Some makers recommend cross blowing

My plant blows down every shift, every day.
Hello Michael, we would be happy to discuss your application and best practices for extending the life of your equipment. Can you provide your city, state, and email?
What are the odds these days of actually blowing a boiler up?
Why not make a heater for personal home owners that use induction tehcnology to heat the water?! Then the jome! This is a multi million $ idea!
Electric heating, inductive and resistive, is more energy efficient than natural gas and is used in water heaters and furnaces in a lot of places. However natural gas is cheaper per kWh and so it is still the most common energy source for heating because of that.
