Diego was the shining star in Narcos. The way he portrayed Felix was phenomenal. That man can act! Wagner Moura and Diego Luna deserve awards
I think it was too meek. Easily the least intimidating druglord in cinema's history.
Chicitypoysun he does
Miguel irl wasn't intimidating. He was discreet
vibovitold Yeah but I think Felix in real life was actually like that and was less trigger happy then Rafa or Chapo, which they portrayed accurately as well.
@@tennisfrk123 intimidation doesn't mean waving your gun around though, you can be quietly intimidating, just have this aura about you. this character didn't.
I love how Luna is always reminding us that he’s not comfortable with the character that he plays in Narcos. 💫
Actually there is another actor, Mexican, that had a very successful narcoseries in Telemundo, that he decided to stop playing the character of El Chema...
His excuse, he wouldn't want to continue portraying a criminal as a likable character...
Mauricio Ochman is the actor and that speaks well of an actor with moral integrity.
That’s the point. He’s too nice of an individual who wants to drug trafficking.
@@pzonda9972 it has nothing to do with that. It's personal for him. Have you watched season two? Have you seen the things he ordered people to do?
@@herschelschueler season 2 is more bullshit than the first one
Gotta say that Netflix has the whole Narcos series well casted. All the main charactors stand out
Gozilla fr💯
Narcos Mexico yes! Mexicans playing Mexicans! Yo soy Mexicano! Not the first Narcos, you had a Brazilian playing a Colombian! The Main Colombian!
I agree! The main characters are fantastic, but what I love about it more is that they make the side characters just as memorable. When I look back to Narcos, and even Narcos: Mexico, I remember so many characters that I loved. It's a gift to give depth to characters who don't have as much screen time.
Yeah bro pops walked in and even asked off top about Quintero so it’s nice seeing that they tried on this one
danny curiel They had better Colombian actors portray Pablo in the past so when I heard that he was Brazilian in Narcos I was disappointed but once I watched the show he didn’t do so bad but his paisa accent was a little off from time to time.
Narcos mexico need to win awards great show.
People have forgotten this show, and thats really really heartbreaking.
Not even a single season have let us down so far.
@@elvismathew9614 i feel so ashamed. i just found it yesterday after i saw this clip, and it was my mom who told me to put it on and wow my family and i got glued to the tv. we r on ep. 4. we r hoping to finish it b4 season 2 starts
tonythebigdog92 ...for reals
"Nobody will watch this, if Netflix would show how vicious these people really are" Anabel Hernández.
the whole Narcos series needs awards;
Narcos with Pablo Escobar
Narcos: Mexico
they need to find better subtitles for Narcos, cuz there are so many things that arent translated correctly, and it takes away from the script
You're right, when he said "Sin mi, tu te vas a la verga" translated into english would be "Without me, you'll be fucked".
How can I apply for that Job?
Vinicio Rojero what sense does it make to say without me you’ll be fucked in that context? The translation is actually very well done.
Thats basically because mexicans use heavy slang it wouldnt sound right if it was translated correctly
@@fimmt684 as good as you can translate it
@David Ortiz No sir, I´m not the translator, stop being arrogant and thinking you know the right answer, this english translation is even more accurate that the lazy and basic expression in mexican spanish.
Diego Luna really nails the accent from Sinaloa such a great actor.
I love the way he talks about his country, he’s so proud and it’s so beautiful to see. He’s just too adorable
Real patriotism is so beautiful. To show off your country's beauty at every chance but to confront it's problems too, hoping to make them better. Makes me misty eyed. Great man
Narcos Mexico is hands down my favorite tv show. And like they pointed out, the landscapes and locations displayed are truly beautiful. Mexico is one fine place.
columbia more beautiful tho
Fax. Even the regular narcos with Pablo Escobars rise
@@simonno5869 lol Colombia is beautiful but mexico is there in par with it. Mexico is one big country. Beaches are amazing, one of the best in the world
@@simonno5869no way.. Colombia is not close to Mexico when it comes to beauty
@@hyster2568that's right
His performance was fantastic in Season 1, carried the whole show on his shoulders and he pulled it off wonderfully. Can't wait for Season 2.
He said based on late 80's and early 90's means it's his last season
@@frankmurillo422 He was describing the season 2 setting, not 1. I know there is no season 3.
@@tobeornottobe5611 there is just not with felix, felix gets arrested then lord of the skys and his two nephews (edite: felix's nephews) take over for a while then el chapo takes over and trust me its still on going right now there will be plenty of seasons of narcos mexico. If you want to learn more go look up a doc on the Arellano Felix organization
@@NONAME-mw1mj Nah, I'm good. I know very little about Mexican cartels and if I can go in blind and watch their stories unfold through a great show, then all the better.
El senor de los cielos is next up
I love how they show Felix growing in power and confidence in himself as the show progresses... in the first season he was at the mercy of the government officials he paid, now he realizes that without him and his money, they’re powerless.
But at the very end he’s alone
Bruce Wayne because he goes off the rails and orders a hit on a mother and children
Eric Ciriano Honestly though, I’m not sure if that happened. I know another story is that the Arellano Felix were the ones who did all that. Still unknown to me though. Both seem plausible.
Bruce Wayne ... at the very end we’re all alone, it’s what you do in between that really matters
@G Singh Palma had Clavel killed in prison.
We see you and your beautiful country, Diego. Greetings from Czechia, Europe
On hraje felixe fakt skvěle

Mexico has to be be one of the most beautiful and diverse countries in terms of people and landscape. I absolutely love this country!
I'd love to live freely out there if I had the money, it's a shame it's so damn dangerous.
@@dunkindoughnut167 you don't want to accept it's dangerous but it truly is a bit dangerous because it always seems like the common man is at the mercy of Cartels and Government law enforcement.
It is! Its natural beauty makes it such a paradise. I go down there every year, sometimes twice. I love it and I personally think that it’s nowhere near as dangerous as US media makes it out to be. Going back in May 😎🇲🇽
@@ascenso1347 That's because you are a tourist. For the residents living down there, it's a different story.
psyche I have family living down there which is why I’m able to go so much. I’ve been going since I was a kid. They live a good life and have never encountered any problems. I can only speak on my experiences but it’s not as bad as us media would make you think. They only show the worse of the worse.
After rewatching Narcos Mexico, its so refreshing that Diego is so woke about Mexico's situation. His portrayal was the show!
Diego’s performance is masterful. He should win all the awards.
The most shocking thing for me was when the president of Mexico was 4 years old him and his brothers killed the house maid.
Tino5135 shook me as well, very random lol
Look it up, true story! Crazy!!
she was a kid (16 i think) from a rural village working in the city! nobody even claimed her body, very sad...
Wait who killed the maid who were the kids
@@Itachlazcano21 the PRI brothers
They couldn't have chosen a better character.. viva Diego
Diego Luna is a brilliant actor. Definitely a GOAT.
Netflix needs to stop playing and push this show to popularity. All I'm seeing is "you" and "13 reasons why"
Rick- MVP it’s already there on trending in my country bro
Probably because they don’t need to promote it, people will watch it regardless if it’s shoved down our throats. Can’t say the same for 13 reasons why
Narcos is a show that doesn’t really appease to the masses. You and 13 reasons why apply to ages 13-28. Narcos can appeal to that demographic but not very many of them. It’s more in tuned to people in their 30s and older
And Stranger Things
13 season is poop i agree, but YOU is brilliant!!
Cartel extorts Mexican government.
Conan: "That's great."
Seriously, he wasn’t even listening. He seems bored. Put someone new in his chair that gives a crap about what is happening in the world. This interview could have gone so many places. He cared more about the location of the shoots.
@@Brendaareliii is too political, and in middle of US elections no one wants to risk a politic retaliation, even comedians and public figures non-related to politics don't want to bite the bullet.
Or maybe he said: "That's great" because of the acting. People always try to find things to nag about.
@Brenda he was. He’s complimenting Diego’s acting. Conan and Diego go way back, they’re good friends, and Conan is one of the more respectful and intelligent American talkshow hosts.
American_Atheist1776 The real sympathizers are the American coke and meth heads who buy the drugs that are imported, or the ones that protect and take bribes from the cartels.
Just watched season 2 and I was hooked. We need more.
El Chapo, Mencho and Mayo
I wish we got more. Season 3 was ok but not as good as the previous 2. Needed at least 3 more seasons (up to a sixth season) to flesh out and tell the story.
Love the show its about time the world sees how talented Mexcian actors are I'm glad to see Mexcian actors playing Mexican roles for once the acting was awesome by many of this actors
Highly recommend watching season 1, Diego does a great job portraying Felix
Will do! Thanks for the recommendation
@inditrini february 13
Watch the new one it's great
Season 2 out now and gotta say. So far it’s good
@@7493prado love the last episode
Just finished watching the second season and I was completely blown away. The ending scene was really intense. Its like you know whats going to happen but the way it all happens and the brilliant way they put it is so amazing to watch.
The translation really doesn't do justice the meaning and feel of what they're saying.
Diego is such a wholesome person
I’m hyped, can’t wait for Season Two of Narcos Mexico! Best series on Netflix ever!!!👊🏻👍🏻
I saw on IMDB about a possible remake of Scarface by Antoine Fuqua starring Diego Luna. Really excited to see how they’ll approach that character.
To me narcos Mexico tells the story no bs. All of this people we would see on the papers a news in thec90s they actually lost q scout for being in such a dangerous place. It is a story that must be told
Viva Mexico 🇲🇽. A land so blessed and so cursed at the same time.
“Without me you’re nothing” a PG version of what he actually said 😂😂
😂
What did he actually say? I hate that they change the subtitles from what they actually say…
This show made sense of the things I heard growing up.
My father always told me that growing up (in tamaulipas MX) the police were the bad men.
that we came from generations of traffickers.
My grandfather was a trafficker who operated in McAllen/Reynosa.
He had a lot of money and properties (which my father wanted none of after he mysteriously “died” some time ago)
I havent been told much, but from what I gathered, we would of been on the Juan Nepumocemo Guerra side of the story.
Just want to say that I just finished season one and this is such a good show.... like on another level. I am so happy Conan had Diego on cuz he is AMAZING in his part and Iits good to see him recognized for great acting!
Would love to watch season 2 with you gorgeous ;)
He became one of my favorite actors very quickly hope he has a lasting career can’t wait to see more from him.
He's such an amazing actor, and it's such a difficult thing to act as someone who you actually despise, adds a lot of emotion.
Yeah the translation is off it's like they cleaned it up which is weird cause some Netflix shows have pretty bad language
desertcat3 this aired on TBS. they probably changed it for that. I bet on the show it will be accurate
Those subtitles were pretty sanitized considering what he actually said.
I'm seriously annoyed right now that I'm not the mother of his children 😂
Lol
No but you can the mother to mine well not really because you’ll be a single mom
Appreciate Diego taking the material so seriously to the reality of what’s been going on there for so long and continues to this day.
I love how the word Verga is allowed to be said on American tv. Lol
Just started watching the 1st season yesterday with my family, its sooo good. we are on ep 4. we had to go to bed but we r hoping to finish before season 2 begins
The whole cast is just phenom. I could watch this series all day..and not get bored.
Can’t wait for season two to come out next week!
Can’t wait for season 2. All the seasons are amazing.
I think what he ment was hes glad hes done filming in mexico this whole Narco thing is a very touchy subject.
Cindy Montoya yes it’s very dangerous one of the location scouts for the series was actually killed
The last 2 ep were so intense and the last 5 minutes of ep 10 explains what’s happening today on Mexico 🇲🇽
Diego Luna is the man that made me understand that the appeal of a man has nothing to do with his height :) since Ý tu mama tambien
he’s 5’10 tho...
@@SporteRandGameR I'm 5.8 ' 😅
What about napoleon?
I just watched the second episode (season 2) and Netflix translated “Ya van a empezar los putazos” to “A white storm coming” and I just couldn’t help it LMAO I’m glad I’m able to understand the slang perfectly
Literally nobody
Diego: “Open Open Open!!”
DivineXanarchy 😅😅
Wow this Narcos Mexico is really quite something.Begining from the story, actors, production, camera, music, narrator,I mean everything is really really perfect.Last time when I watched something with that passion was Prison break first season and final game world championship in Russia when my national team played against France in 2018...💪❤
I love Diego Luna!!!!
this is my favorite Netflix series I also love the intro and this episode is funny as hell
They should focus more on the CIA drug Running part of the story. And then maybe people would pay a little bit more attention to why we have an opioid epidemic while US troops guard poppy fields in Afghanistan.
Rick Frye truth will never be unveil my friend. Sadly!
Maybe next season when it's NOT Narcos Mexico, but Narcos USA, that should be interesting too
@@marisolhdiaz9233 So I'm guessing you have no idea of how the CIA is connected to drug and gun running in Mexico?
@@rickfrye9525 certainly but this show is focused mostly on what happened in Mexican territory; the government, the cartels, the corruption in Mexico. I don't think they will show that part of history as Afghanistan is not directly part of Mexico's history. But let's see what they show when they release the season
Maybe you've seen it but there's a show on HBO called Snowfall. Really good!
that show is absolutely top notch. almost every episode is like watching the godfather in terms of acting and writing. no exaggeration.
He played an awesome role and killed it BRAVO for him
Without me you´re nothing translates from "Sin mi tu te vas a la verga"... accurate lol
@Sebastian same meaning, he just said it waay more hostile and aggressive. there's no direct translation to this, he used an offensive word that to be honest i think only Mexicans can understand it properly.
Its close to what he meant, the literal translation would make no sense
I think a more accurate translation would be: "without me you're f*cked", or "without me you can go f*ck y.s."..., something like that...
@Sebastian what @Ernesto Castillo said is more accurate
Agree with Ernesto’s translation. 👍🏻
They need to bring the man that plays Pablo Acosta to interview him that would be 🔥
Hes totally correct in saying shows like this, display great acting we wouldn't see otherwise.
Diego Luna is amazing! I would have never known who he was if not for Narcos. So happy I watched, I love everything he is in. Amazing actor!
There is something about this guy's character that just make me feel like i'm wathing Michael Corleone in Godfather... And that can't be bad hahahaha
Came here for this.
man after watching Narcos Mexico i thought he is actually a drug kingpin
Thanks for the video
His performance was incredible. In that last episode of season 2 he actually really creeped me out, I felt like I was looking at someone with no soul. Just a masterful, terrifying performance.
I rewatched season 1 , and forgot how great it was. About to start season 2 , I heard this one is even better
One of the best shows hands down, and he is an excellent actor 👏🏻👏🏻
Just binged the two seasons and I loved it. Now onto the Narcos, never thought I’d be hooked on knowing about this culture 😂
This was such an amazing series!
Cant wait for Narcos Mexico Season 3!!!
Such a good actor and so humble 😍 🇲🇽 loves you 🤤
love this man the way he acted throughout the series. Will miss him in s3 though.
Just finished the second season and wow, at first I didn't think he could nail the role but it's just the way Felix is, and I was so wrong, he's so freaking amazing, nailed the role in such an fantastic way, especially the last scene!!!!! Can't wait for season 3, will be missing him tho..
He made his character come to life as the Mexican Michael Corleone. 5/5 job
I watched the 2 seasons in 3 days! What an amazing series.
Same here.
Cant wait season 1 was amazing
looking fwd to following his career great actor
I have just finished the Season2 Ep 10. I searched and found this video!! Amazing video...👍👍👍
Cant wait for Narcos America, that's going to need at least 20 seasons!
Lol word
Diego is such an amazing guy bruh
Narcos Mexico is by far my favorite tv show, every time I get the opportunity to talk about it I will lol
Did you see season 3 already ?
Narcos-Mexico does such a superb job in documenting the Drug Wars in Mexico in the 90's. The acting, clothing, soundtrack, settings everything is done well. This is the only show on Netflix I "binge" watch, can't wait for Season 2 this Thursday.
That scene... Wow
Lmao the Mexicans in the comments are surprised that they showed “ sin me tu te vas a la verga “. Even Luna is surprised.
Narcos Mexico is my favourite show right now, Diego Luna was perfect in the role. Really underrated series
Great show great actor
I can't believe the Conan show played it and didn't censor the word verga, that was funny obviously they don't know have no idea how vulgar and bad that word is, LOL
Diego luna is a freaking briliant actor he
deserves an OSCAR for narcos: mexico
Love this man!
what an amazing show!
Y tu mama tambien is still a classic
The range of this guy is incredible, I legit just saw him as a waiter in If Beele Street Could Talk!
Amazing series!! And the acting amazing!!!
Love him recognizing the entire cast.
Everybody:
Miguel: pinches madre
New season is amazing. People need to understand this is real. It's easy to just say there is nothing but crime and bad in Mexico but we go beyond that. Viva Mexico 🇲🇽
Great show and amazing actor
I love this man
I wonder if they pulled a fast one on American TV, because the word "Verga" is considered of strong language in Mexico. In Mexico, it for sure would've gotten censored on a TV show like Conan's, but here in the US we got to hear it like it's an average word. Apparently, the translator literally thought "nothing" of it lol
You read my mind.
They should continue “Narcos” to tell the story of more narcos legends.
Fernando Diaz capos not narcos
Fernando Diaz YES! They definitely need to make a season 3 of Narcos Mexico 🇲🇽 there are so many more stories to tell...I’m pretty positive they’ll be doing a season 3...they left too much untold in season 2
@@mikloonepercenter yeah they have amado and the gang left, with chapo in it to rise and fall too

That little speech he gives in the last episode is chilling and very true of Mexico's current situation.
I started watching last week. On Season 2 this show is probably the most addicting ive ever watched.
