We better get a full season about the biggest Mexican Narco of all time...... Amado Carrillo Fuentes aka Lord of the Skies, and his Juarez Cartel (at/in his prime..... Pablo Acosta was still alive in 4, and he was just starting out).
B. G. Some viewers don't understand the magnitude of these characters and how larger than life they were when they reigned in the drug trade. Amado Carillo learned the ropes from Acosta who was a monster in the drug trade in the Ojinaga border and also set him up to be taken down by Calderoni. Amado Carillo took the business to another level and displaced the Colombian cartels and even had the audacity to jack12 tons from Escobar just because. Growing up in L.A. in the early 90s though the word in the streets was that Manuel Salcido Uzeta was the big dawg. Under him were other bosses such as Emelio and Juan Quintero Payan and Ines Calderon Quintero and el Chapo Caro and El Azul. He was the quintessential Mexican trafficker and he was no joke. I remember when he was ambushed and shot 90 times while he was riding in Zapopan and he tried fighting back even throwing an defective grenade that failed to activate. His rise to the top is the stuff of movies. Where I grew up there lived people that were from San Ignacio and told stories about him; many hated him and others respected him, but all agreed that el Cochi was and always has been the baddest mofo of them all along with Aviles so much so that he avenged Aviles.
A wonderful interview. Diego Luna seems to be a man very in touch with himself, his feelings, and the realities of this sometimes ugly world. His portrayal of Felix Gallardo was captivating. I enjoyed both Narcos and Narcos: Mexico so much I've seen both several times. Hoping for a Narcos: Mexico Season 4!
So far the best Narcos story from all others from previous episodes. Escobar were alright but this one was very well explained and gave you an understanding of how things really are.
This series was amazing there’s a lot of people that said they didn’t really dig it compared to the past 3 seasons honestly narcos is just getting started on the Mexican cartels just watch till you see all the crazy shit that went down with all the cartels “ cartel Arellano Felix Sinaloa cartel the gulf cartel the Leyva Beltran cartel los zetas shit gonna be lit

YO! SAAAAAAME! I used to watch that movie everyday after school in middle school! I was IN LOVE with this man! P.S. that movie does not get enough love. Choreography was tight, got a lil history lesson with your romance, and that soundtrack?! Countless bops!
Man, this was the first season of Narcos Mexico, it talks more about Mexico's history of the 80's and the history of the first drug dealers. I am sure that next seasons will be very violent, even more than Narcos with Pablo Escobar. You know, the war is about to start, Drug cartels fighting each other, DEA confronting them and the Mexican government killing those who don't serve them.
I can't say I love this season as much as I loved the others, but I've certainly gained a new respect for Luna as as actor. He's brilliant as Gallardo!
Tina Siegel I completely agree cuz el señor de los cielo isn’t realistic like maybe the first season was but the rest of the show is pure fiction it’s sorta bad

Possibly the best TV show since The Sopranos. Diego's performance in Narcos Mexico reminds of Al Pacino's in The Godfather. That final scene/conversation between Miguel Angel and Walt Breslin was a masterpiece.....

I don't hope you understand the the situation that we live here in México, but to be honest, the characters in Narcos shouldn't be considered as a "badass" or as a "great character", this are people that have been controlling México and destroy Ing it from the inside for a very long time. This people are the reason why families are torn apart everyday because of abductions or crossfires. This people are the reason why we can't go out safely without the fear of being mugged, kidnapped or even killed. Please, don't look at this series as a wild west story, look at this show with empathy and try to learn or understand the situation that we are linving. I'm a proud mexican and I'm tired of living in a beutiful country that seems to be harder to heal as days go by.
@@lybrebel14 Yeah, pretty much. Even though people don't believe it's true, the goverment is still afraid of them. I mean, they tried to fight back in 2006-2012, but they only worsen the situation.
Roberto Olvera Hernandez Shit! Are they powerful that much? More than the Gov? What Mexico need is Global intelligence cooperation, all powerful Strong intelligence agencies, US-European and Russian, and then devise a strategic plan to eliminate all these worms within a decade. This depends on the seriousness of the Mexican government in eliminating these cartels, and cleaning the entire body of the government of these germs. It is difficult but not impossible.

That would probably be season 2 or 3 and then El Chapo would be next since they already introduced him...
@@MadHatter1337 I would love to see also about Sandra Avila Beltran...La.reina del.Sur....
.
Iroon2007 There's already one it's called Queen of the South it's on USA channel. I think Narcos Mexico season 3 will be Chapo rising to power
I don't get how they're gonna cover the Los Zetas... lots of violence gonna be going down in that
Yea, they can get at least three more seasons of narcos with mexico. Hope they do
@@fortyforfree they can get wayyyy more seasons. Mexico has had way more cartels and has alot of history with that kinda thing.
The Arellano cartel was the most powerful cartel in the 90
But I think narcos only based on like big drug lords like next I think it’s gonna be Senor de los cielos or chapo.
His English is amazing!
Earl Prinsloo his mom is British
@@antoniogutierrezjr3175 lol his mom died when he was 2...I don't think that's the reason
It really is...I always listen for prepositions because those are hardest to get right, even in your first language. For the most part, his are perfect.
Not gay but man is GUAPO
Sapphire Savage your gay
Sus
Gay lol
You just admire him that’s all
Sounds about gay
He’s so humble and so well spoken
He’s a hell of an actor
Diego was my first crush, watching him in Dirty Dancing 2 as a 12 year old girl, I fell completely in love, haha.
Watch his movie "y tu mamá también"
YO! SAAAAAAME! I used to watch that movie everyday after school in middle school! I was IN LOVE with this man!
P.S. that movie does not get enough love. Choreography was tight, got a lil history lesson with your romance, and that soundtrack?! Countless bops!
So I was not the only one 😅
How dare you mentioned that movie.. that shit still makes me sad
Lol me too but then I remember him when he was 9 or 10 and i feel like a cougar. Lol
Diego delivered a phenomenal performance. Hope he gets recognized for it.
I got to say narcos Mexico was badass. Narcos Cali not so much. The best one of them all tho was Pablo escobar without question
Exactly narcos cali was absolute horse piss
Cali cartel season was the best, yall trippen
I think they've all been really good and consistent. A lot of series fall off after the first season.
What are you talking about? The Cali Season was amazing, you’re just an idiot.
“it’s hard not to like him.” i know HE got his heart broken 😪
Rick Ruiz whatcha mean
This guy is one of the best young actors I’ve seen in a while. He’ll definitely get more mainstream roles as has a great presence on screen.
Diego you nailed it love narcos Mexico ♥️♥️
So we get a meeting between escobar & gallardo can't wait
episode 5! i was on the edge of my seat in episode 5.
It was freaking awesome!!!
Just watched it. So much fun!
It was so cool to see pablo again.. his entrance was fuckin epic
the smoking bit and then talking deep. was mad
I can't say I love this season as much as I loved the others, but I've certainly gained a new respect for Luna as as actor. He's brilliant as Gallardo!
Yup ! He's amazing.
This one season was better then all three seasons of series. More interesting drug bosses and events that went down.
I liked season 1&2 but hated 3. And I didn't expect a lot from this season, but it blew my mind... it's so good. Reference, here and there....
Tina Siegel I completely agree cuz el señor de los cielo isn’t realistic like maybe the first season was but the rest of the show is pure fiction it’s sorta bad
@@12OunceProphet I'm really looking forward to seeing more of Gallardo, for sure.
They say the real Miguel Angel could convince everybody to do what he wanted. This guy convinced everybody that he is Miguel Angel.
It's very satisfying to hear how Diego expresses himself. With every word, he's articulate, straightforward and interesting - A lot of insight. Perfect choice for El Jefe de Jefes
Diego is amazing as actor and a person. I can’t believe I grew up watching him in novelas and now in these amazing projects. I see how much he has grown and to see how much he loves our Mexico.. síguele cabron eres chingon...
Claudia Ochoa him and Gael are just amazing people.
@@MEEE82 and guillermo del toro, i think they are the best mexican actors.
MariaC yes they are amazing.. I grew up watching both and it makes me proud to see them now
SPOILERS AT 5:40- 6:00 !!
Possibly the best TV show since The Sopranos. Diego's performance in Narcos Mexico reminds of Al Pacino's in The Godfather. That final scene/conversation between Miguel Angel and Walt Breslin was a masterpiece.....
The Boss of the Bosses
All i can picture is Miguel Angel speaking to us in his dapper suit and slick hair. i keep waiting for him to light up that Marlboro. Damn the way he smoked made me resume smokin for as long as i was watching the show
“There’s a lot of Criminals wearing suits” so much truth behind that sentence
Such an awesome interview filled with enthusiasm!
Such an intellectual. Love Diego Luna!!
Lizzy Travels love u babe
I have the biggest crush on this guy after watching Narcos. He was great.
Is it just me or did the Mexican cartel system in Gallardo’s time operate more effectively and efficiently than the UN ever has?
Cartels:
"There's always another guy." Every bad guy works for another bad guy.
Diego Luna as Gallardo was ‘Simply Amazing’!
Don Neto’s beach scene towards the end was EPIC!
Hippo-puta-mass
ABDUL HANNAN Goddammit 😂😂
😂😂😂
I loved that scene
Hippo-punta-mass*
lmaoooooo
I really love his bilingual skills I will get to his level one day!
I feel you. Im white but I'm trying to learn Spanish alot.
@@MikeSmith-gx6be shit English is fucking hard xD I'm trying my best learning it lol
Diego, seems like very humble likeable guy. He's very polite and smart in most of his interviews.
Sorry for the typos, I wrote this with my cellphone and it's pretty messy
Is Mexico still controlled by Drugs cartels nowadays? Sorry for asking
LYB Rebel yeah, you can’t even go to Mexico without paying someone for your safety
@@lybrebel14 Yeah, pretty much. Even though people don't believe it's true, the goverment is still afraid of them. I mean, they tried to fight back in 2006-2012, but they only worsen the situation.
Roberto Olvera Hernandez
Shit!
This guy is one hell of an actor and perfect choice for this character
I love this guy ❤❤❤ love his voice, he is so calmed.
Diego is an amazing actor, the way he portrayed Felix Gallardo was amazing, incredible swag
Diego Luna, loved him since dirty dancing. Loved his take on Félix in Narcos. Brilliant and intelligent actor☺️
He is my new favorite actor
I can listen to him all day....... 💜💜💜 I love his accent!
My OCD is cured to finally see him speak in English, love you Félix (Diego)
He was amazing in Narcos, the vibe he had of a focused businessman trying his best to do what he did, loved his performance as he brought it to life
Got addicted to all "Diego Luna's interviews" right after finishing Narcos: Mexico. Who else did the same?
Btw, big respect to the host he's so respectful of his guests not interrupting them. ♡♡♡
I can’t wait for season 2
Replaced my heart from pena to miguel
Capt. von Trapp 🤣😭😂
Well that must suck...
Cant blame ya
Im with you sis
@@coleengage440 thanks haha
When Rafa told El Azul “your dopes filled with stems, seeds, shit you can’t smoke” then called his plant “seedless” had me laughing 😂
Diego has come such a long way from telenovelas to becoming a real talented and serious actor. I hope that he continues to make the right choices for himself to become one of Mexico's greatest actors. 🇲🇽
for the last 2 days I somehow happened to rewatch this whole series. I was even more stunned by the quality (and disgusted from the great reality) of this series and its deep message, than at the first time. Big Respect to all involved. Just brilliant!
Man his voice is so smooth.
He’s very charming☺️😍
His English is absolutely perfect wow wasn’t expecting that. Fantastic actor
What I find interesting about this show, is that they often gently allude to American complicity in the drug trade and money laundering....yet nobody talks about it as if it is fiction, and pretend like it is all not still going on.
Because they need to sugar coat the american involvement to make them look like "heroes" rather than drug traffickers with a badge.
This narcos was my favorite. Diego was really the best. Miss it so much.
