      Maybe the DEA should stop intervening with other countries maybe Kiki would still be alive today , hunting down the big dogs of Cartels only brings violence and conflict , look how extremely dangerous Mexico became after you people put Felix Gallardo behind bars the only man that kept the violence to a minimum , then America comes along sees some free publicity they can get then goes and fucks up everything , if only y'all actually sat down and think about how much bad changes would occur when you lock up the only person that keeps violence to a minimum , maybe also sit down and think about how many countries America fucked up because of America wanting free publicity then when shit hits the fan then America tries everything they can to not be involved anymore or be less involved , America fucked over Mexico and a handful of other countries , America is the leader of disaster

    I like that they finally did some justice to people like Kiki, the first two seasons where like a monument to Escobar and those guys, like they are some sort of heroes when they are not. This season gives us an idea of what real heroes do, Kiki gave his life for what he believed it was the right thing, and he outsmarted them, they just had more "muscle". In the end his story was an inspiration to those who wanted to make a difference.

    • @Dasanie

      gil84rs yep I really enjoyed the fact that there wasn’t this happy ending where the good guys always run Into the sunset with a parade behind them. These things don’t always end like that in real life and I really enjoyed that twist at the end.

      _Chino98 well he was passionate about his job. You wish more guys like that in Kiki’s position would make such an impact that they’d go to the lengths of killing an American agent. Funny how as much as I liked Pablo Escobar seasons I thought the Cali Cartel was better. Definitely more suspenseful throughout the episodes. Narcos Mexico really feels like it has grown up from a TV show to a film that is just split into 10 parts. The character building, story, etc. Is all done much better. When Kiki died and the news was delivered to his wife I truly felt for her. Also when Felix told his wife he didn't need her anymore that hurt me. This show is so much better than first 3 seasons in Colombia.

      There are so many little things about it like (spoiler stop reading) when don neto is arrested and hes listening to music with blood flowing down his face like a tear from his eye. And when pablo essentially uses the hippo as an analogy when he says " get between it and something it cares about, and it will bite you in half", i.e Mexico is between columbia and the US market. Just so many things about it so beautifully done and make it emotionally intense.

    I grew up around this in the 80’s and 90’s less than 30 minutes from the border. My father knew Kiki personally and was on the DEA task force. Caro Q was a household name at my dinner table with two undercover detectives as parents. I remember the day Kiki was found dead, sad sad day. All that said, after ten years military, multiple tours to Afghanistan, poppy eradication as a private contractor, I played my part, but marijuana is the best thing to happen to my PTSD and depression from losing friends over bullshit. Sometimes I think I feel guilty given how I grew up, but weed has made a difference in how I sleep at night compared to the cocktails the VA was trying to pour down my throat. Kiki was a hero for his time, little did we know of the medicinal aspects of a plant, we only knew it as wrong because Nancy said so

    • @ashutoshsharmash
      @ashutoshsharmash 5 лет назад +2

      @@xusez9695 Are you kidding me? Afghanistan is the largest poppy and weed producer in the world. Poppy produced in Afghanistan even reaches the US as heroin. Everyone has their hands on it. The Russians, Americans, Paks. And with the dismantling of drug cartels in Latin America, the lawless lands of Afghanistan and Northwestern Pakistan are a perfect catalyst for the drug trade there with the Taliban and the ISI being the biggest drug kingpins and supporting terrorists all across the world.

      I don’t think this season is necessarily better just because Mexicans can relate to it more. Pablo Escobar was such a psychopathic cruel individual, and his outrageous actions held a whole country hostage. Narcos: Mexico was more about an incredibly corrupt government that was complicit with the drug trafficking. The scary part was that even Miguel Gallardo had to answer to somebody else. While Escobar did whatever he wanted.

I usually don’t watch this kind of tv series “ Narco series” are just horrible, but I just saw an interview of from this very well known journalist Anabel Hernández, to Caro Quintero. I got into it and started watching Narcos . I felt so sad about Kiki because I knew how it was gonna end. The saddest part is to know that he died in pain. A long painful death, in which he was viciously tortured for around 30 hrs. My heart broke really for his wife and children. 😢
