These two actors both killed their roles and the ending especially... Walt may have won the battle but the war is still raging on and Miguel got the last laugh. Imo it was the best season of narcos yet solely because of how it was filmed. Felt more like a movie than the previous seasons of narcos which felt more like your typical mini series. Don’t get me wrong every season so far has been phenomenal but this last season was on another level.

The last scene perfectly set up a third season and I hope that they make a third season. Narcos is bringing up issues that most people forgot about, and bringing back the discussion of the drug war. It really brings the point that America is not innocent in the war on drugs and calls out a lot of bull shit politics. I really appreciate that they keep a lot of the real stories in the show. A very respectable show that deserves all the recognition.

    • @magtovi
      @magtovi 5 лет назад +16

The only thing that Narcos glossed over is that there's heavy evidence that it was the CIA that actually killed Kiki Camarena, due to him finding about the agency's role in all this thing, including the cartel training Nicaragua's guerrilla fighters for them.

"Yeah, I don’t believe it. What is true is many [government agents] had interactions with the cartels for sure. In some cases they may have trained them. There was a time when the real enemy were the communists. The American government and the traffickers had a shared enemy. But I don’t believe the CIA would knowingly participate in the murder itself or the coverup of a federal agent, I just don’t buy it. Not when the stakes were these. If it was some vital matter of national security then that would be different."

I’ve just finished watching the entire 50 episodes of this wonderful series, and, pun intended it was addictive. I’m sorry to see it’s finished. Brilliant storytelling and some of the most believable acting I have ever seen.

Netflix is deciding on season 3 for Narcos mexico...should know soon..but with the virus it might get delayed..

I hope they do extend the series, it was brilliant. I’m currently watching El Chapo on Netflix as I thought I’d watch a connected series , but it pails in comparison to the Narcos drama.

This makes up for the Irishman lol I would sit through this whole season. Diego killed his role and they both killed that last scene like a boss!

the acting in this season ( & show in general ) was perfect man fr. if they don't get atleast 2 nomminations for the Emmys/Golden Globes , it's a crime.

Well if I’m not mistaken, I think the next season is going to be on Chapo’s world...Right?
Narcos is not over yet !

Nah, it'll be probably about the rise of Amado who became the biggest and most succesful dealer in the 90s .... there are many things before Chapos chapter gonna start ;)

    • @josetakapele

I think it’ll be Amado Carrillo Fuentes. While he was getting big, the Sinaloa and Tijuana Cartels were constantly fighting.

One thing they mention in the interview is how loose and free they were while on set, which surprises me cause I would think it would take immense amounts of concentration and discipline to pull something so off so out of this world.

I am really sad that Diego will not be returning for season 3 but completely understand him not wanting to play that character anymore. Narcos and Narcos Mexico has been two of the best shows in the past decade and I'm glad I got to see it.

Two actors playing beings from opposite criminal organizations killed this season. The pacing of narcos México differs from the original Colombian narcos played for. Like it’s more game of thrones esque than action thrill version og narcos fans were used to. And this matters because of what’s actually happening in Mexico currently.

Because he's going after Amado Carrillo Fuentes from what Felix hinted out to walt in the end of what will happen if his power increases. Felix wants him to destroy them for screwing him over.

I hope they continue the show. It might be hard to continue as it is going to get close to modern day and as he says in the end, is going to be total chaos. maybe not good tv show material. Personally, assuming the depictions are accurate, I find myself most impressed with Felix. He epitomizes the type of criminal gangster that would probably be running goldman Sachs right now had he been born in say, greenwhich Connecticut rather than Sinaloa mexico
