The best part about Empyrion man.
Just using your hover bike or hover vehicle and explore endless open savanna and grasslands.
You are alone in your zone.
That feeling of loneliness in an alien world is so well done in Empyrion.
Do u get that same feeling in NMS? I don’t feel it.
Empyrion is soooo good …. Until we get off the starter planet and we have so much resources.
What then? That was my challenge. I used to always restart once I got my CV.
Will you showcase that part of the game?
What will you do once you get a CV and have all the resources and are in Space?!

Have a similar feeling when playing Empyrion. a feeling of exploration coupled with the need to survive. When playing NMS it is about exploration, of being the first to see the planet and leaving a permanent record on the game. One of my biggest moments has been in 2022 when I landed on a planet I had discovered in 2018 playing a different start. While I am not a base builder can understand why players elaborate bases for players to find in the future.
The mid-to-late game is difficult for survival games, few developers have managed to implement it successfully. In Reforged Eden there is the challenge of taking on bases and space combat designed for multiplayer, the problem is finding them. Another problem is it takes time to reach a level to take them on and often the game is broken by a update. Ideally would like to see the devs extend the main storyline (in both games) to give more challenging mid-late game missions.
Hoping to get further in this series, the downside is the release of Reforged Eden 2,
This is what I did on my last restart, I got to level 10 and then cleared all the abandoned POI’s which was a bunker, depot, and two reactors. That got me to level 20 and enough resources to build a 1million cpu cap ship for my starter and took off.
Ty for the information, finding some abandoned POIs would be useful.
That was a lot of spiders. Ha, mustn't get complacent. I should know. Lost my mining ship last evening! Big bang , blown straight out the ship down into the hole I was mining.
Can relate to that, several times have strayed too close to a Zirax base when suddenly turrets are blowing chunks off the ship.

You should try streaming the game. I think alot of people would love it
Have tried a couple of times, not really a streaming person, plus finding the the time to make a 2 - 3 hour stream is difficult. Although it may happen if circumstances change.
