Hello, up in scotland. Just paid my subscription and starting this Friday. I know Scotland's gonna be tough but don't mind tramping and going nationwide. Loads of jobs popping up for small van which is what I have. Looking forward to the struggle and hopefully make enough to keep going. Love the videos. These videos made my disicion to buy the membership lol see if it don't work don't matter, got to take a chance at life. You will always get money back somehow.
Hello from Manchester, Scotland really is a struggle but i know people who make it work. For Scotland content you really need to follow Neptune courier. Being flexible and available to tramp is a good thing but it does get abit lonely and boring in the van. keep motivated and youll make it work, i wish you all the luck in the world. thank you for taking your time to watch the videos i really appreciate it and if theres anything i can help with feel free to ask
@ Thank you. I litterly play you in the back ground whilst doing my multidrop with yodel. Gets me throguh the day. Keep up the videos mate they really do help a lot of people. And it's very calming as I said gets me through my multidrops haha
Hello James, What are your thoughts on a Luton Van with tail-lift versus a low loader with maybe ramps and maybe a manual crank arm or winch. Obviously saying this due to problems and maintenance with tail-lifts, and also considering CX work.
The issues i find with low loaders is the wheel arches they can basically be ran as a xlwb or lwb on the exchange but not really as a luton as lutons are expected to be flat floor lots of space. i understand your point about tail lifts being a pain but i wouldnt imagine a winch or manual crank would be much better. low loaders are only really good for removals work
Hi James. It's a good point about the lack of UK based You Tube content about working on the CX. I suppose the danger is that for such a dry topic one might forget about the existence of any such content quickly, unless it was presented in an entertaining manner. Best wishes 😊
Ofcourse the man, the myth, the legend DELIVERY MAN. I do apologise that i forgot you pal, and i definitely did not mean to offend you in anyway. You are 100% the person to watch regarding CX content and jobs
Some of my videos cover the Exchange though I do have a HGV not a van. I don't use it all the time as I also have direct customers. So remember James, if you ever need a larger vehicle give me a shout as I'm also fairly local to you. Cheers.
Thank you sir, i will keep it in mind. most of the truck work i have tends to come from Lutterworth or Wellingborough but its very few and far between 99% is luton or LWB work tbh. And yes ofcourse you do talk about CX thanks for reminding me.
Big Beardy the last time i spoke to him had got himself a good gig around his local area and actually had a few drivers working under him. not entirely sure what it is but he's busy busy
Hi James,
'The Saintsman' still does CX videos.
He is on Holiday untill February.
