It's not L zero, LO short for Low Also cooled glovebox is a feature available only on select cars. Not a refrigerator which will freeze your water bottle
90percent of the people never used it .. I feel pity for them .. Open the deck and in the extreme left u will find a button.. press it and u will receive 10gm 24 carat gold within 1 hour ... I feel pity for the people who doesn't use the feature yet
I was doing work behind the dash and had taken out several of my front facing vents in the process. When the vents aren't attached I can fit a water bottle in each lol. I ended up keeping the vent covers off through summer because I kept putting my drinks there 😂
This is the temperature controlled club box it is NOT a refrigerator by any means it just maintains the temperature that you have set for the interior of your car. So as hot or cold as you are on the inside of your car the temperature will be the same in the glove box rather than the glove box staying really hot or cold because it is separated from you in the interior. I promise you that water that he had in there did not freeze over because of that vent he lied to you. He went out of his way and freezed it in his freezer and then put it in there.
What! He just turned the AC down to LOW in the car so it will also be a fridge in the cabin aswell. Dude, you don't need to reduce the temperature in the cabin as the AC cools the glove box regardless of what the temperature is set to.
Most owners dont have the cooled glovebox feature, but there is a catch , when you open the console glovebox and set the temperature on the AC and that way you cool down
A lot of people are saying that it's a top of the range feature on cars. Tbh ur car either has it or doesn't. My 2007 Mercedes c class had it and my 2009 Honda jazz also has it. It doesn't matter how well speced ur car is

Volkswagen jetta: yeah, you can just turn your glovebox into a refrigerator. 2012 Volvo xc90: okay so, you will have to _remove half of the center console_ and then _put in the goofiest looking refridgerator instead_
If you own a car that has a floor mounted center console that has air vents blowing to the rear passengers, you can place your car’s AC on low, and it will cool the sides and the bottom of the console to the same temperature as the ac air❤ Which means you can place an already cold drink in there and it will stay that way for MUCH longer. It could cool down a hot beverage, but only after a couple hours #roadtrip (Camry XLE/XSE, Avalon, Passat, Maxima, and etc)
His new staff been lying to him because last guy got fired because he bought a car without refridgerator so the new staff just buy cars with this feature without telling him
I’ll have to check this. I have the knob in the glove box but thought it was to dim the light. EDIT: Looks like it is an AC vent, I've closed it now but thanks for pointing this out to me.
If you don't really need to be on LO then you don't really need this feature. It'sorr energy efficient if you use the higher possible temp rather than always the lowest
Our people don't have such featured cars. Our car makers only thought about fuel efficiency irrespective of safety. Even people only need mileage over their lives.
I have a Kia. 90% don't know there's an oven inside the glove box. This is powered by waste heat from the engine. To use it, rev the engine, turn the AC to H1, open the glove box and pop in a couple of frozen pizza. Close the glove box. After 10 minutes, remove and eat heated pizza.... NOT!!
