- Former SKID ROW singer Sebastian Bach played three "special concerts" in New York City with BILLY IDOL guitarist Steve Stevens. The shows took place on January 27, January 28 and January 29 at The Iridium and featured Bach and Stevens "doing two sets a night," including "some special unexpected songs."
Video footage of Bach and Stevens performing cover versions of songs by AC/DC, JIMI HENDRIX, QUEEN, AEROSMITH, SKID ROW, VAN HALEN and BILLY IDOL can be seen below. They were accompanied at the show by Pete Thorn on second guitar, Neil Jason on bass and Anton Fig on drums.
In a recent interview with Rock Nothing But…, Bach stated about his collaboration with the BILLY IDOL guitarist, "I've always loved Steve Stevens. He's always been one of my heroes. He's a true rock star guitar player and a personality onstage. The way he plays, how he has those shotgun blasts on the guitar with the whammy bar and all that. It's just so distinctive. I've always wanted to jam with him, so yeah, we could work together in the future. I would really enjoy that. We do shows with CAMP FREDDY. Which is a band made up of Billy Morrison, Mark McGrath, Billy Idol plays quite a bit. That's where I met Steve Stevens. Dave Navarro plays a lot. Steve plays 'Youth Gone Wild' and 'I Remember You'. It's unbelievable. I never thought I'd hear Steve Stevens play SKID ROW songs."
Thanks to all my fans
🤘💜NO THANK YOU!🙏STEVE!💜
💞Luv JulieXO Ontario Canada!💜❤✊🏼
IMHO You makes a perfect band for Sebs just more proof we don't need no Skid Row reunion overated & not needed. Bach is good enough with any band behind him !

Thanks, but also, you forgot the first song... "Freeway Jam"
Thanks!
Grazie
Whoever caught this on tape and put it out there you did a really good job. muchos gracias 🤟🎙️🎶🎸
They didn't even show the second guitar player :(
Steve Stevens... Incredible talent, and so underrated. This guy can play literally anything. Stevens understands music theory, and how music is structured, not merely "a guitarist..." He can play classical, blues, metal, rock, pop, country, even dobro guitar. Stevens has always impressed me with his versatility. He can literally play anything with anybody. Not a lot of artists can say that.
Well he didn’t say it. You did 😀
Curtis, Well...no, I think he's regular rated. "Underrated" sounds like it's a great injustice to Stevens. Isn't he better than that? He should then be... overrated. right? No...wait. That doesn't sound right either. Where can I find this list of guitarist ratings anyway? I'd like to see where cheezy G. Lynch is rated. Inevitably someone always says so-n-so is underrated. I think Stevens is a great guitarist, humble and talented. He's everything you said except the underrated part. Isn't he?
Steve Stevens is an incredible talent. Really cool guy too
Thanks man
Thirty or more years and never knew about Steve. Finally get to know him. Very impressed!
I saw you play a show at the California speedway with billy good show man your solo just really good man it moved me and my buddy dennis talked about that for weeks you play so good and never enough credit rebel yell
Yep I met him after an atomic playboys show back in the day and he was as cool as it gets and an obvious beast of a guitarist!
I can vouch for that. Hung out w/Steve a couple times at NAMM.
This is half concert/half stand up show. Sebastian's monologues between songs are equally entertaining as the music itself
One of the most misunderstood and most underrated singers in Rock what a great voice true Rock power voice much respect to Sebastian
I have always loved sabastian bach
@@boneshakercrane7869 That's too bad
Dont know about misunderstood....the guys in skid row say he is a jerk, which is why they would never have a reunion
@@RtroyD Bolan couldn’t keep a singer. That’s why he went through several. Common denominator? Bach left as he booked an opening act for kiss. Bolan was furious, saying they were too big to open for kiss. Bach told him they would never be too big to open for kiss. Possibly, it’s Bolan who was the jerk.
@@tb2324 well, when all.the original members dont want anything to with him there is more to it than that...not that I care ,just what they all said
Bach is such a great singer
Sebastian still has it!!!!!!
Holy Fuck!!!
Great show!! Top knotch musicians!!!!
Thanks for sharing!!!!
The quantity and quality of talent on this little stage is mind boggling !
Just to hear them jam I would pay for that rock n roll
One of the greatest vocalists in rock history and no vocal effects...not even reverb. Amazing show irregardless. Thanks for the amazing post. Incredible musical talent. Legends.
I thought the same! It would have sounded much better! You have to work a lot harder singing so dry!!!
That was one of Sebastian ' s best performances.....loved it!!!!!! Thank u for uploading!!!!!❤️
The hidden Gem of Steve Stevens is the Vince Neil album "Exposed."
Thanks! I’ll check it out
🤣😂🤣😂
@@chrishester9990 what exactly do you find humorous? 🤔
@@TonysMusic1974 the fact that someone actually listened to a Vince Neil album 🤣😂🤣
yeah I know it, there's one song with a killer acoustic intro.... maybe called The Edge?
All the talent that these guys have possessed over the decades still shines through. What a great all around performance.
Freaking awesome... Love Steve and Sebas, pure energy and talent right there. I keep coming back to this...
Steve Stevens can play anything, you name it you got it. He is my hero from day 1.
Bass just KILLED THIS SHOW... the talent is just mind blowing on this stage
Sebastian is the real frontman
Thank the lord for Sebastian !! Long live a man who loves to live.
If he was a guy just hanging out he would have the same personality that life is fun and laugh, love, cry and be human
its weird how nostalgia and memory can affect you, there are a lot of great songs in this set that i always liked and heard growing up. and Rebel Yell and Hot For Teacher take me back because i was like 12 at the time. but "I Remember You" really hits me because i was like 16/17 at that time, i actually wasnt even into Skid Row i was listening to Thrash Metal exclusively back then. BUT being like 16 it was just endless summer nights of driving around packed in a car with all my friends going to shows or parties or hang outs and meeting girls, and that summer "I Remember You" was a huge hit and it was always playing on the radio in the car or in the background at clubs and parties or somewhere. and now hearing it brings so many memories rushing back, a lot of good times, some of the best times of my life. there is nothing like being young and free.
wow nice bring back...I'm with ya on all of it. I think everything you named was exactly my youth and my does the time fly. I remember waking up with anthrax for school and mtv drops welcome to the jungle as a smash or trash video in 1987. I was 14.
That's what the music does brother
Yeah, my Senior Prom theme was ' I Remember You ' geez, now I'm depressed! I can't believe it's been 31yrs since I was in HS!!😖
@@gizzy2403 class of 92 here
@@BLUECIFER man, 92 is th yr everything changed! Styles & trends usually fade away, but not 92 , not only music but fashion & attitude all changed radically! It was quite a shock to th system. I can still remember talking to a dental hygienist in 93 & she was telling me all her teenage son wanted for Christmas was flannel shirts😅
What a voice. 44 years old and hasn’t lost it. Sensational band.
Just an awesome persona Bach is: an entertainer, singer, everything. He really gives it all out there.
Saw him in Skid Row back in the day when they were doing huge venues, seeing him doing his same schtick in a club is a little over the top. And seeing him do Rebel Yell was hilarious. Love Bas, especially his album Angel Down and the following effort, the one with All My Friends Are Dead. The stuff he did with Axl was good, too, especially the Back In The Saddle cover.
He’s the definition of Rock n Roll. Lol
You know Sebastian's voice is so crisp and his range though affected by age is still great. Steve Stevens has become one of my gems. A great voice +a tight band = a great show. Thanks boys.
I’d argue that this is one of Sebastian’s best vocal performances of the 21st century.
I've heard drummer Anton play way better than this also
This was so much fun to watch. Not only can Sabastian sing, but also has the gift of gab!
Give it up for THORNY! I heard some flawless playing from him.
What a great show. I had no idea Sebastian was quite the entertainer. His interaction with the audience was a big part in making this an enjoyable watch. Overall a great set performed by very good musicians. Thank you Steven Stevens for allowing this to be on the RUclips and making this gig happen.
when i first saw sebastian, i knew he was talented in everything.get to know his stage performances as lead
Would be so freakin awesome if Steve Stevens & Sebastian Bach did an album together of all original material
i ve love it ....
What a treat those audience members got that night.
Steve Stevens has to be one of the greatest guitarists of all time.
Wow what a private showing. Wish I was there .
Steve and Sebastian are 2 of the BEST from the 80s.
One of the best frontman ever, no one rocks like Baz..
There's 100 guys out there that are better than him LOL
@@22trem when I wrote that comment a year ago I didn't just blurt it out for the sake of doing what many people do on here, which is make crazy statements just because they can and there's nothing or no one to stop them. In this case it may seem like I did just that, it's not so. On the other hand If you wanna start naming names go right ahead, feel free to start at 100 and work your way down. Before you do I suggest you watch the live at budakan show all the way through, And begin....
@@22trem who?
Sebastian.B got blessed w/ those pipes!! He’s my age and still sounds amazing!!👏🏼❤️ 80s the best!!
Amazing what can happen when you stop excessive drinking.
As far as I know he had throat surgery in 2017 and now sings even better.
Stevens constantly impresses. That last thing I though would hear him playing when I clicked oh the video was Jeff Beck. Guy’s awesome!
Wow.. Incredible. Sebastian Bach's Stage Charisma.. Entertaining.. Alluring. Practically the stand up comedian/singer. Powerful. As for the rest of the band.. Pretty Damn impressive.. As well as Steve Stevens.. Wonderful. This is about the best performance I have seen from Bach. Also in regard of small intimate venue.. Which I prefer.
Let's not forget Pete Thorn ripping it up...great guitarist.
I thought that was him tearin it up. Imagine being Steve Stevens and just hanging back and letting Pete throw down like a boss!
thanks! i didn't realize he was over there!
He’s cut out and man does he climb that mother
What band was he in?

Pete Thorn isn’t only a great guitar play but seems to be a great guy too. Wish I could have been there.
Anton Figg my favorite drummer right now ¡ with Bonamassa ¡ uffff 👍👍 sorry i havent seen this show full until today so¡ im enjoying it
I liked the Robin Trower throw back!
"this is our sixth show in...aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...3 days."
Can't get any more rock n' roll than dat!!
Really talented singer. Always does good work. Reunite SKID ROW before someone’s not here anymore.
Muchas gracias excelente fenomenal sin palabras
Yes, please tour
Anton fig was in frehley's comet.. underrated, underappreciated drummer
And he played Ace Frehley solo album (Kiss) plus on Dynasty and Unmasked all drums except the song dirty living not! All other songs he played drums!
He played many years with joe bonamassa and he play with john mayer and so many more.........he recorded with so many big people in the business!
Performance fantástica!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Some guys are born to be lead singers in rock bands. Sebastian Bach is one of those guys.
Lets' not forget massive guitar talent Pete Thorn on stage right!!! Fabulous player!
Stage LEFT.
All I can say is I hope my children have the inbuilt ingenuity to understand that this is awesome. And to understand good music and talent when they hear it. And not to listen to none of the shite! I think Steven and Sebastian are some of the most level-headed performers and they never disappoint. I'm working on it and believe me it's working, my son was tapping his feet to Aerosmith in the car the other day.
This was better than i thought...And Seb's a real entertainer as well between the songs..
Always loved Steve, even have one of his signature guitars, but to see him open with my all time favorite, Jeff Beck's Freeway Jam is so fulfilling !!!!
Great musicians stepping out of their realm and killing it thanks guys bravo
Hot for teacher was KILLER!!! The guy in the lead guitar was spot on!!!
DcheoCyco that’s Peter Thorn. He’s known for being a VH fanatic, he often churns out classic VH riffs on his channel.
Seb and Steve absolutely killing it. I love this!!
I really enjoyed watching these guys just hanging out and having fun! Sebastian sounded really good. Awesome, Thank you.
Esse Sebastian é o cara
This was pretty great massive Steve Stevens fan also a huge Pete Thorn fan as well he has some really killer chops himself.
2012? Wow time flies. I was there that night. It was an awesome show..
This was really awesome!!!!
cool band
When Sebastian Bach lets rip brings back so many incredible memories. What a great gig, Really wish i was there. Great band Steve Stevens
I LOVE Steve "Fingers" Stevens black Les Paul. It has pink frets and is just a beautiful guitar to look at.
What a supergroup! I remember this pairing from a morning show back in 2012 promoting this tour. I finally got the chance to see it in 2023 and I’m floored. Best thing I have watched in some time. Stevie Stevens is rock’s MVP, last one was EVH and we won’t need another for a while 🤞🏼
Showzaço! Ouvir Sebastian é como apreciar um bom vinho!❤️
Sebastian, the best, I love tou, wonderful Man!!!!!!!!!
Sebastian Bach was such a cutie. He was fabulous in JCS an Dr Jerkly and Mr Hyde. Also was awesome in RH. ❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹
Apaixonante!!! Muito bom mesmo. Todos excelentes músicos. Vocalista, guitarristas, baixista e baterista excelentes.
Check these guys out after all the years. I take my hat off for them.
Bach is like a super hero of Metal… He’s a Beast🤟
I'm two years late watching this. Best Jam I've ever seen. Man I wished I could have been there.
_I love you Steve_
This a AWESOME!!!!! Sebastian still looks great and sounds pretty good too
Awesome! Steve sounds amazing! Bas does too! Great band!
Wow! opens up with Beck's "Freeway Jam" one of my favorite guitar players. Damn, wish I was there. Thanks for upload.
Awesome show. I just sat here and watched the whole damn thing! And it's GOT to be good to hold my attention for that long... Bach and Stevens are an amazing duo.
It's possible that we all searched Steve Stevens and stumbled upon this video but the guy is still very underrated
I'm watching everything from Steve Stevens, for the last 2 weeks, just discover his solo albums and the works with Bozzio Levin Stevens trio which is freaking amazing.
Sebastian still sounding really good in fact a whole lot better than a lot of people from his day including Axle Rose for one keep on rocking brother we still love you
My favorite guitaris steve stevens,, 👍👍
Pete Thorn and 'Hot for Teacher' was a highlight!
'Fingers' LP Custom is to die for, pink pick ups with mother of pearl dot inlays, this is one of his regular guitars but he has not used it as much as he once did since signing to Knaggs. Stevens is one of the most innovative, flexible and creating kick arse axemen in rock history and makes the mega millionaire 'saul hudson' look like the second rate but most brilliantly marketed guitarist in history that he is. SS blows 'slash' away.
SS is a fkn machine...he will be playing proud 20 yrs from now!
A very Jeff Beck Freeway Jam intro there - Nice
Pete Thorn is shredding here! Nice!
Cool
Não perdeu voz nenhuma. Obvio que não é a mesma coisa, mas ele continua impressionante. Sebastian é foda.
this group is great!...could you imagine a studio production?...
Sab totally nailed Beating around the Bush! A great show... thanks for the upload 👍🏻👍🏻
When Steve did the solo on Rebel Yell and Bach did the we're not worthy salaam with his arms and head bow that was hilariousl. Love the spirit of rock 🎸 lives on!
the guitar player to the right is also no slouch, pete thorn.....hell of a great guitar player !!!
Excellent show and showmanship. First time actually hearing Steve Stevens closely. Amazing guitarist and his acoustic set was beautiful. Sebastian Bach excellent front man and his pipes sounded great for 45 years old. The rest of the group, A-1! Though almost 10 years ago, I would love to them perform this same set in a club near me (Gainesville, FL ). Thanks for posting the video.
Steve Stevens is a Sonoma County wine... just gets better with time. Damn, SS is the GOAT. I love SB, too. He is a true fan as much as he is a performer.
The cameraman completely dissed Pete Thorn on stage left.
Ouvir Sebastian é um presente de alto valor.
Great show and great line up. Lets not forget PETE THORN on the guitar and ANTON FIG on drums. They are just as legendary as SEBASTIAN BACH & STEVE STEVENS.
That would have been a great night - wish I could have been there. GREAT MUSIC
Bach has always been that way with the audience 🤘 saw SR with Pantera in '92, audience participation has always been phenomenal with him🤘
Awesome ...yeah thats it
Wow🎸《☆》Nice Trower cover Day of The Eagle👍🏾😎☯️
Awesome .. Steve Steven's & Billy Idol are one of those combo's.
Anton Fig is a brilliant drummer. He played with Ace Frehley for years. In my opin- doesn't get near the recognition he has coming.
I think he played with Paul Shaffer in the late show Band on the David Letterman show for a while too . When Paul Shaffer will take ya you're doin alright.
Those who know..know. He is great.
@@jhondoe5147 Yes for a while, from '86 to 2015.
He is just now getting credits for some Kiss albums too. He’s played with a ton of bands.
He was playing with Bonamassa when I last saw him.
seb rules !! amazing voice !! man i admire him so much since in skid row
Don't leave out Pete Thorn.. Smokin' guitar player!
Steve has always been his own man keep it coming 💯
