Goes for the illusion albums as a whole. Civil War could easily fit on Appetite since the sound/style is very Adler like and thus GNR Appetite era like.

A lot of songs aren't written after Appetite but before or during that period. Those songs aren't on Appetite because they don't sit well the way their debut was supposed to sound. Basically everything where Adler is involved is pre Illusions or even pre Appetite.

This movie and soundtrack and use your illusion 1 and 2 were like a dream come true for me when I was 12 years old.
As if Terminator 2 wasn't enough being my all-time favorite movie growing up, the band I was obsessed with in grade school made a music video for one of the best songs on the Use Your Illusion albums.
