This is probably the most important tech for newcomer ramlethal players to be introduced to are these setups. To impose her will you need to know how to stick to the opponent and create opportunities safely.. due to her difficult defense capabilities. Great video.
This format of video is extremely awesome to watch and learn from. Simple, straight to the point, and everything I need to know. 5 stars.
THANK YOU for putting the combo notations in the video at the proper timestamps. Makes learning her that much easier. I hate vids that display tech but don't actually write down what they're doing. Makes it super difficult on new players.

I like Strive but yeah they dumbed her down way too much. Still the same corner menace but its just not as fun as Xrd.

Jokes aside this is going to be an amazing video to help me learn what to do on knockdown with ram, my main issue though is getting that knockdown as i have no idea how to play her neutral, any tips/help? (if i'm not too late because it's been a year on average since anyone posted lol)
Watch some match videos to get an idea for what neutral should look like and then play games. How to play neutral is a really broad question that doesnt have an easy answer. So just play and figure it out.

Does Ram still have her Fuzzy Guard Break setup in Rev 2?
How did you get those alternate colors? Are they mods, or exclusive to the arcade version, or something else?
They're mods. The dizzy palette is just something I made but the others were already in the game but aren't selectable without modding them in.
So if they're techincally in the game already does that mean other people would be able to see them online? Awesome guide btw, super usefull for a new Ram player

Do you know if all of this still relevant in Rev2? I only just got the game recently and it's the first fighting game that I'm trying to learn instead of just mashing buttons.
Same ideas and concepts work in Rev2 but there are slightly stronger setups you can do now. If you're just starting out, the information in this guide will be just fine.

okay so, how do you go from the 5p directly into 2kk? when i try that im only able to do 5pk cause he doesnt take the 2kk input o.o
Hold back during Ram's target combos to get normal gatling routes like 4PP or 4P1K. So for that combo the exact inputs would be 4P1KK.

You know, a large part of why fighting games dont get new players is because of all the weird unnecessary terminology.
What is a fuzzy guard?
Why say 2k when you could be clear saying crouch kick
I made this video with the intent that the viewer had basic knowledge of fighting games and the character, which is why I don't bother explaining combo routes at all. Not using notation for Ramlethal combos would just be a wall text as opposed to c.S 623P c.S j8D IAD jK jS j8D etc. Learn combo notation, its useful.
The term 'fuzzy guard' is a good example of confusing terminology because its used to describe multiple situations. In this case, its used to describe an overhead attack (Ramlethal j.K or jumping kick) that hits a standing character that switched to a crouching block during blockstun. I don't know how to explain that better but if it doesn't make sense, don't use it.
