Fuck they sounded great here. Why do so many of their concerts seem to have a really tough time getting the sound right? Sometimes Serj sounds so nasally and sometimes he sounds just like the album
@@SFO14 he sang nasally a lot on Hypnotize/Mezmerize albums, so his nasal voice sounds more "natural" in songs like this for us, the listeners. but if he sings nasally on Toxicity or Self-Titled tracks, it just sounds wrong because he originally sang with his deep vocals and we're used to it when we're looking back. it's just a matter of studio works and the era.
@@SFO14 you're right, I mean, taking Chop Suey and Sugar into consideration (also from Reading 2013 obviously) there are some of his best vocals from past decade. but if you really think about it and listen to other Serj's projects, you can clearly hear the difference between his recent Elect the Dead concerts and recent SOAD concerts. I think he might not wanna tour with System anymore, nor make metal records, because he's more into the operatic and orchestral things lately (since 2007 actually) and he's saving his voice for solo concerts. his discography is really worth checking, I'd say even more than the System discography at some points, but it's up to u what to do, I'm just sharing my opinion.
