I am a young professional no kids, single, remote worker looking to relocate to San Antonio early January 2022. What areas would you recommend to rent for someone my background? Budget is 900-1100 and I wanna be near a lot of attractions or a shopping plaza.
I’m happy to discuss specifics with you based off of what you are looking for in an area/home😊 Feel free to text or email me so we can schedule a chat. 210-236-2393. TDominguezRE@gmail.com
If I may ask a question ? I’ve been to San Antonio 2 times Just got back from my second visit a few weeks ago My girlfriend her parents live there I noticed that it’s super messy perhaps it’s just that part of town However everywhere I look nobody seems to do any kinda yard work or upkeep on their houses I know times are hard but what’s the deal Dead trees in everyone’s yards Front porches all cluttered and downright not looking so good Like I said I’m sure it’s where I was and there’s much more too offer But please explain if you can
Thanks for watching! I’m not sure which areas you have been to, but as in every city, there are good and bad neighborhoods. A lot depends on whether there is an HOA in that area, and if so, what type of regulations and enforcements they have. Are you guys considering moving to SA?
Uh move to the far north side of San Antonio. A realtor isn’t going to be totally honest with anyone about where to live because they are trying to sell homes! Downtown is safe just don’t wander around outside of downtown on foot. Travel north if I happen to get stranded and stay on the main streets. Do Not walk through any neighborhood at night. Not saying that neighborhoods are full of bad people NO it’s the few knuckle heads in every neighborhood that you can and should avoid especially at night. Yes Alamo heights yes king William areas are ok but wander off a couple of miles away and there are pockets of scum hanging out. Far north side or gated community and you’re good. Once you get to know the city and if you’re not a rubber neck or absent minded with no common sense you’ll be fine. Lived here 54 years and that’s how I know. Lived on the west side which isn’t the best side of town to live and I don’t recommend it. Sea world area is good that’s far west San Antonio. Traffic sucks between 5-6 pm !
Just bought in Alamo Heights. I’m leaving South OC, CA and can’t wait to get out of CA. Why would I leave a beach city in OC? I’ve lived here 17 years and have been to the beach less than 10 times because I’m always working to pay bills!! My mortgage payments per year is a middle class income for most people. Not to mention the taxes, state and property. It’s a grind… I just can’t slave away in the office anymore. Is it hot in Texas? Yes… But I’ll wear shorts, drinks lots of water, and finally enjoy a little rest and relaxation. Maybe I’ll take a vacation with all the money ill be saving!!! Life is too short to be stuck at a desk job.
Hi Ma’am. How are you? I eventually plan on making San Antonio my permanent retirement residence. I want to rent for a year, then eventually purchase a home. I would love an apartment where I can overlook the city.
Thanks for watching, that’s awesome! I hope that you will love it here. I don’t specialize in apartments or rentals, but can definitely set you up with an apartment locator when you’re ready!
I can definitely help! I work with a few really great credit repair companies that can help get you ready to buy. 😊 Feel free to text me 210-236-2393 and we can discuss!
Hi Abe! Yes, there are plenty of rural areas that are outside of the city. Specific areas will vary, depending on what price of home & features/amenities you are looking for. You can email me so we can chat more and I can give you better ideas! TDominguezRE@gmail.com
@@LivinginSanAntonioTX thanks for your reply ! Me and my family going to be stationed in San Antonio hopefully by late summer. This may be our last duty station so where talking about building a house in north San Antonio or maybe in the helotes area (somewhere where we can have a big enough lot , maybe a acre or more ). Is there any predictions of when housing prices may go down or is it all depending on this pandemic?
@@Thatsmyname1 Thank you so much for your service! The pandemic has definitely caused the rising values- very low interest rates for buyers (to keep the market moving) and a shortage of inventory mean the prices will not be dropping anytime soon! Nice! I hope that you ok love it here! There are soooo many options for apartments here in SA. I would recommend using an apartment locator to help you narrow down your options, otherwise you could get very overwhelmed!

What about safety and crime rate? That's far more important than nightlife and entertainment.

Yes! There has definitely been a rise in property values due to the shortage in supply!

Nope
I live in ( the dominions ) the best place.
Yes! The Dominion is definitely amazing!! ❤️
I live in Waterford Heights. Left us out lol
There are gorgeous homes in Waterford Heights! I will definitely have more videos coming up and include that area! 😊

Best place to live in San Antonio doesn't exist. Find a small town to move to, less infrastructure = less taxes. And much more reasonable home prices.
When comparing everything within the same category, San Antonio is a better place to live than Dallas and Houston.
I would definitely agree with that statement! Thanks for watching! 😀
Not the south , east , or west part of satx stay away from there .
Lies lies lies
