    I'm late. Great video. I've got all kinds of air tools, mostly for auto mechanics but these nailers are a great idea. If you are building or renovating it's a must. Thanks!👍🏻

    That is great! I have a similar one but not as nice. So much fun and it never splits the wood! Great stuff! 😃👍

      Many thanks buddy🙏, this one really seems good value for money, under £50 (around $65), I also don’t get any splits, I wonder how the 16guage or bigger nails fair up though, yeah I do have some great fun with it.. I think it’s the sounds that gives me the reassurance!😆
      thanks for watching, cheers Rob 👍

    Thanks for this. More than I need at the moment I think, but can't believe one hasn't cropped up somewhere in a Quentin Tarantino film yet... Cheers.

    Love my nailers... My 18 gauge works the same as yours but the bigger 16 gauge won't fire if it's out of nails. Interesting but super annoying when you are nailing away and no nails come out.... Again, the smaller nailer leaves a mark from the safety yolk whereas the bigger one doesn't. I run mine at a minimum of 80psi as I find if the pressure drops below that, the heads of the nails don't always get buried. Another great vid you could do is how to adjust the cut in minimum pressure for the compressor as I find the standard cut in pressures are too low. Loved the vid Rob, but then I am a tool freak lol

      Cheers Mate, yeah I thought you would have at least 2😆👍, I’m really impressed with this one.. glad I didn’t go electric.. I’m gonna try and make a rubber foot for the yoke. When I was doing the inner walls on the shed I realised around 20 in that there was no nails left in it 🤦😆, thanks for watching, cheers Rob

    Is it an 18 gauge if so try firing 35mm brads through it you'll soon see it will jam like my clarke nailer as there's a design flaw in the rail that carries the brads

    i always empty my nailer, so the spring is never left under tension.

    Don’t know if you remember, I commented on one of your videos that I had bought the Ferrex nailer stapler, absolute crap, returned, money back and now thinking. of a pneumatic stapler so brilliant timing on your part . Regarding the tip of your gun marking the timber try putting some hot glue over the tip

      .. also great idea with the glue gun.. in fact I was thinking of using the glue gun to make some other feet on a small project I’ve got coming up soon! Cheers

    Do I need to use a regulator by the gun itself? Great vid 👌

    • @WeekendShedHead
      @WeekendShedHead  Год назад +1

      Hi Richard I didn’t, as the compressor already has a regulator, many thanks 😉👍cheers Rob
