Really love small palettes! The neutral shades speak to me. The Tom Ford palette is perfection as none of the shades are too deep. I guess perfection has its price!
Confession time. I own one palette, chanel mademoiselle, they don't even make it anymore. So thankful to you Kiki for this video because I've been wanting to try something a little blushier in colour and I'm not in love with the chanel formula on my maturing eyelids.

Just fyi, Dior reformulated their quints recently, they are more powdery so you might want to get the new one to compare. The new formula has the name all in caps DIOR, vs Dior.
Another fun and informative video - thank you. You’ve certainly reminded me of some of my palettes that have been languishing. I’m especially interested in hearing about which brushes you use for your eyes. I tend to use the same ones and am not always happy with the results. Thanks again!
I just found your channel this morning. Even though the palettes are small, I found the number of them overwhelming. It would have been wonderful to see how they actually look on your eyes . I am one of those people who cannot tell the difference between cool colors and warm colors. At age 66, I still do not know which is right for me! 😩 just an FYI, on safari the eyeshadow links do not work for me. They take me to HOWL to teach one how to earn more money.
In the Palettes it´s all about the Balance of Colour, Mattes/Shimmers. I find that´s not easy 🤗. Thank you for the inspired Videos! Greetings from Germany 🤩
I love your take on the variation of tone in these palettes. I love that Chantecaille palette because the combination of colors seems so different yet neutral. I love the Westman Atelier myself. I’d really love to what you’re wearing in the video.
Since retiring from teaching 5 years ago., I am not so concerned about wearing strict neutral for my eyes. In fact it's been fun experimenting more with colour. But I appreciate how soft and approachable you make even the poppy colours on your eyes. This was a fun video. I enjoy analysing eye palettes vids even if the collection are older and not the latest palettes.
@@TheHoodedLid No, it's definitely the shadows too. They seem to be making everything into "clean beauty" (though some things still include aluminum powder and/or fragrance, both of which I can't use). Sofia Sees Beauty did a couple of detailed reviews on the shadows. I did buy one of the new Dior quints without talc and it seems okay to me, but I never tried the old ones. Sofia thought the new ones were okay but that the old ones were more richly pigmented, if I am remembering correctly. So it would be interesting to hear your perspective on the new ones since you have been a fan of them.
@@lisapetrison-beautyreviews Honestly, I just checked the Dior site and the only thing it says is they are using cornflower extract. Nothing about talc free. I'm a bit confused about this
@@TheHoodedLid My observation is that both Dior and Nars are moving quickly toward "clean beauty" standards but trying to keep as quiet as possible about it on their own sites so that no one will notice and complain. On Sephora, though, all the shades of those Dior eye shadow quints are now listed as being "new," with talc-free formulas, though.
I’m not intimidated by big palettes but I prefer quads or quints, I do love the the Chanel 9 shades palette, which is small. I with what ruined it for me was the first naked palette, I hated it. Not one matte or a satin, all shimmers or metallics. Bad quality all around. That’s got to be the unpopular opinion lol. Anyways, you have an amazing collection!
I love both large and small - but a good quint makes getting ready in hurry so much easier. I was never into the Naked palettes, I didn't know they had one with no mattes at all!
@@TheHoodedLidI only got the very first one, it did not have one single matte eyeshadow. I don’t have any Dior quints. Every Dior quint you showed is gorgeous. I am about to re-watch your video and try to figure out which could be my next purchase. Also, regarding limited edition products, I agree that you should still show them. Thanks for showing some of them here. This was such a great video theme.

Most Bobbi Brown powder shadows have been discontinued, so I think they're in the works to bring out a newer formulation.
Will be interesting to see what they do.

You can never go wrong with Viseart. Cashmerie is a gorgeous palette. VB products look amazing in speak to me. They’re just too pricey for my budget.

They are getting rather bad reviews since the change.
