The Paris Edit is something you don't know will be special until you get your hands on it. Like you said it's hard to explain. It's so unexpectedly versatile. I have both Lilas and Violette. I actually took 3 from Lilas and put them into my Violette since I have 3 of the colors somewhere else and gifted the premise to someone who's never been able to try Viseart.
With my job, I can only wear cool tones, neutral colors. I appreciate this video because even though I have loads of neutral pallettes, I enjoy getting your take on quality

I am also a cool tone lover and to my absolute surprise I checked the Urban Decay website about 6 months ago and was shocked when I saw the Smoky palette for sale, since it had been discontinued. I ordered it as fast as I could. I checked my order numerous times because I couldn’t believe it. The next day it was gone from the site again. It was so strange but sure enough it arrived about a week later. It is beautiful.
Check Ebay for discontinued anything. Lots of stuff winds up there (or on Poshmark) eventually, including sports/fitness bras sold for 7.99 at Aldi. I'm finding discontinued, limited edition, and clearance items being sold at inflated prices, with outrageous shipping charges sometimes getting tacked on---adding insult to injury. I've already reported this practice to Aldi's customer service so they know what's going on.

Oooh Mel you said something in the video that could make an amazing theme for another video! You mentioned to try the Sydney Grace Enduring Love palette first if you want to try the brand. Do you have any other products that comes to mind that if someone wants to try a brand they should start with one hero product?
Thank You so much for this video ! I have a very cool rosy skin undertone and most warm neutrals look so orange and weird on me. I always have to work twice more with my transition shades to make it look decent. Cool tones are just far more perfect for me.
My fav now is to mix warm bronzy tones w cool or neutral tones. Use a warm shade as your transition shade and use a neutral or cool tone as your dark shade. I will use both my ND bronze and glam palettes for a look. I love my midi ND palettes as the perfect palette for shade options without it being too big. I did end up getting a CT quad during Black Friday sales..and I do love the shadows. Very expensive for a really small amount of product though.
Morning! I've been loving the cool toned look lately. I got the ND Glam palette for Christmas (based off your recommendations) and wow, it did not disappoint!! I was thinking of picking up the Colourpop Stone Cold Fox as well but I also want to try Viseart as I don't own any so maybe I'll start with the Violet etendu 😍 thanks for all the great suggestions!
If you get the colourpop pallet get the going cocunuts or thats taupe. The formula in both of those is better than the stone cold fox palette. I have the glam palette and the Viseart but the stone cold fox formula is not great.
Nude dip looks really pretty! I love the glam palette as well and the mini glam is one of my favorite Natasha pallets of all time. I picked up the other two from Charlotte Tilbury new releases but I think I’ll eventually grab star aura as a topper or accent quad. Great round up by the way!
Totally agree with you on the Natasha Denona Glam and Mini Glam. I like the mini glam more, it is what caused me to buy the larger glam. On my mature 56-year-old lives, Natasha eyeshadows, and especially the shimmers sit so well it is what I love so much about them. However they tend to flake off my normal skin. Even with an eye primer by the end of the day they’ve almost disappeared. I’ve never heard anybody else talk about this, but it really bums me out about these very expensive and otherwise lovely eyeshadows.
I would love to see videos like this divided in colors. What I'm particularly interested are the purples and the greens, not emerald green but something more wearable, like the CT the Rebel
Would you like to do a compilation of "soft eye look" palette as well? I love you compilation of palettes. And it would be great to see the soft look one. It's actually hard to find a pretty nice soft palette without everything being too competitive or too pink/orange.
I have and love going coconuts. Stone Cold Fox from Colourpop is definitely cool neutral and I enjoy that one too. I want that viseart violette palette.
Great video Mel! Nude dip was my first Tom Ford palette also. I think it’s the perfect neutral. Not too warm, not too cool. It’s my all time favorite palette. I even have a backup although I don’t wear eyeshadow often enough to justify it😂. I will have to check out that CT palette star Aura. Thanks for the review.
I’ve been loving the BK Beauty palette. I’m not super talented at eyeshadow, so I really appreciate how soft and buildable the shades are. My eyes are small and hooded so don’t have much space to work with anyway, so I tend to have trouble with super pigmented shadows. But I love to practice and play!
Thanks Mel! This video was so helpful! Now that I’m not going out as much cause of covid... I’ve realized that all of my palettes (neutral to warm) have started to look “fake” on me - I’m a neutral toned gal, so my warmth only comes thru when I’m out in the sun. I’m looking for a small everyday palette so I might go for the viseart lilac quad. It would’ve been nice if you included a couple of more affordable options as well :) but I also don’t want you to feel like you HAVE TO include affordable options when you didn’t enjoy them as much. I’m a college student but I still like to save up on really good quality products with good color stories as I don’t spend that much money on makeup anyway! (Only got about 7-8 makeup products anyway)
I have been using either Stone Cold Fox or Bare Necessities palettes since I got them. I'm really cool toned and blue eyes and dark hair and stone cold fox just DOES it for me. But my new palette collection obsession is Viseart. I've got a few but not the ones I want. I've been DYING for Midsommar, Paris Edit and Violette since they were released. Le Sigh 😕

Mel, Check out CT Uptown Girl shade quad eyeshadow. They are greys in there but swatch them and they have purple tint. SOOO pretty. What you see in the pan is different than on the eyes. I have green eyes and this just make them pop!
Oh no now im wanting tom ford! I wanted the glam palette but finally decided on stone cold fox because I love how many mattes are in that palette. I just got the stone cold fox palette and it is so good! The shadows are all really easy to blend and the silver in that palette is SO pretty. I hope you enjoy it!

I love cool toned palettes and glad they are coming back! I love the UD mini basics. The perfect cool/nude toned palette. Also love CP that’s taupe and flutter by (the perfect cool toned purple pinky palette). If you are looking for ideas I would love to see a discussion or tutorial about warm vs cool tones for face products. Also under eye makeup. I struggle with lower lash shadow and liner.

I feel the same way about Denona palettes, glad I have all of those 3, and the mini glam is so special and just beautiful. And now you make me wanna spend some cash on viseart, still dont own any of their stuff. And nude dip from tf is on my list for a while now, i only own Coco mirage and love it sooo much
I love Enduring Love. One of my favorite palettes. And the ND palette I actually loved the second it came out I wanted it and got it. That blue is stunning! Like you, I own all of them and that one along with Bronze Seduction and Divine Rose II are my favorites out of all of hers. Her formula is like nothing else
I'm sure others have already requested this but a follow up warm/neutral go tos would be appreciated. 🙂 I know people have fallen out of love with warm tones but I feel cool tones don't suit me well.

My favorites neutral/cool tones palettes are the Steeleto palette from Marc Jacobs beauty, the skin deep from Nars, and the platinum palette from Nabla !!
I'm always looking for a good cool toned palette because these look so much better on me than warm tones and neutrals. And I definetely need to look closer at Viseart. Tnank you, Mel! And as long as you mentioned Colourpop I have to admit that my most used palette lately is That's Taupe. I reach for it almost every day.
I have gotten into more cool tones and before I would alway use the warm tone palettes but now I gravitate towards the cool-Neutrals and I would’ve never tried them if it wasn’t for your videos. ❤️ I love the Abh Sultry palette, Sydney Grace enduring love, Give me Glow Grunge palette, and of course your Tiny Marvels palette.
Me, jotting down a list... 🤣 I did look at the Sydney Grace Enduring Love pallet when I was looking around on the website and was interested in them... I think I'll get both when I can afford them. I did just pick up my first Colourpop product. The Stone Fox pallet. Haven't played with it yet. I got it because it's a less expensive cool toned pallet and I figured for the amount of shades I get, it was a good deal. Plus, it was on sale! 😁
I'm so tempted by the Viseart violette palette! I love the monochromatic color story! I'm thinking about getting the ND Glam palette. And I don't like rearranging shades in palettes either! I like to keep palettes as they are not sure why lol!

You made a video just for me!! I have no less than 10 of these palettes from the Colourpop to Tom Ford. I really got into Viseart this year buying several of the larger palettes and the big neutral matte one, I also bought 2 of the Lilas minis they were that good as is Praline, everything you need in one tiny package with beautiful mattes and shimmers. CT just does not work for me, I keep buying what looks like a nice neutral and they all pull orange or warm on me. I can only use a few colors in her larger palettes. I have the smaller version of the Pat McGrath palette you showed (I think it's called Subliminal Bronze?) and I love it. The shimmers really are something special and I always feel like my eye makeup looks so "sophisticated" when I use it. I actually like to use it with my Natasha mini glam palette, I think they pair really well together.

I love your lip color in this video. Also a great Natasha palette would be the mini retro, mini glam and mini zendo with added shades in that color family in the $65 palette. Would be perfection.

I love cool toned palettes and glad they are coming back! I love the UD mini basics. The perfect cool/nude toned palette. Also love CP that’s taupe and flutter by (the perfect cool toned purple pinky palette). If you are looking for ideas I would love to see a discussion or tutorial about warm vs cool tones for face products. Also under eye makeup. I struggle with lower lash shadow and liner.
i’m lmfao because i only had 1 of alllll the palettes that you talked about, and that was the going coconuts 🥥 palette from colourpop. the only other cool tone palette i have is the “that’s taupe” palette from colourpop and i love it. i’m still dying to get my little hands on those CT and viseart palettes. i’m so glad you made this video, cause it was awesome. i want to thank whoever it was that suggested it. 🤍
The Colour Pop That’s Taupe is a really pretty cool toned neutral palette. It’s also a great companion to the Going Coconuts palette.
I feel the same way about Denona palettes, glad I have all of those 3, and the mini glam is so special and just beautiful. And now you make me wanna spend some cash on viseart, still dont own any of their stuff. And nude dip from tf is on my list for a while now, i only own Coco mirage and love it sooo much

I love Enduring Love. One of my favorite palettes. And the ND palette I actually loved the second it came out I wanted it and got it. That blue is stunning! Like you, I own all of them and that one along with Bronze Seduction and Divine Rose II are my favorites out of all of hers. Her formula is like nothing else
I'm sure others have already requested this but a follow up warm/neutral go tos would be appreciated. 🙂 I know people have fallen out of love with warm tones but I feel cool tones don't suit me well.

My favorites neutral/cool tones palettes are the Steeleto palette from Marc Jacobs beauty, the skin deep from Nars, and the platinum palette from Nabla !!
I'm always looking for a good cool toned palette because these look so much better on me than warm tones and neutrals. And I definetely need to look closer at Viseart. Tnank you, Mel! And as long as you mentioned Colourpop I have to admit that my most used palette lately is That's Taupe. I reach for it almost every day.
I have gotten into more cool tones and before I would alway use the warm tone palettes but now I gravitate towards the cool-Neutrals and I would’ve never tried them if it wasn’t for your videos. ❤️ I love the Abh Sultry palette, Sydney Grace enduring love, Give me Glow Grunge palette, and of course your Tiny Marvels palette.

I did look at the Sydney Grace Enduring Love pallet when I was looking around on the website and was interested in them... I think I'll get both when I can afford them.
I did just pick up my first Colourpop product. The Stone Fox pallet. Haven't played with it yet. I got it because it's a less expensive cool toned pallet and I figured for the amount of shades I get, it was a good deal. Plus, it was on sale! 😁

I'm so tempted by the Viseart violette palette! I love the monochromatic color story! I'm thinking about getting the ND Glam palette. And I don't like rearranging shades in palettes either! I like to keep palettes as they are not sure why lol!

You made a video just for me!! I have no less than 10 of these palettes from the Colourpop to Tom Ford. I really got into Viseart this year buying several of the larger palettes and the big neutral matte one, I also bought 2 of the Lilas minis they were that good as is Praline, everything you need in one tiny package with beautiful mattes and shimmers. CT just does not work for me, I keep buying what looks like a nice neutral and they all pull orange or warm on me. I can only use a few colors in her larger palettes. I have the smaller version of the Pat McGrath palette you showed (I think it's called Subliminal Bronze?) and I love it. The shimmers really are something special and I always feel like my eye makeup looks so "sophisticated" when I use it. I actually like to use it with my Natasha mini glam palette, I think they pair really well together.

I’ve been meaning to grab the original Pillow Talk quad as I have purchased and loved the palette of pops and the instant eye. I was so fortunate to be able to get my hands on the TF Cocoa Mirage quad last month and I am in love! I own Nude Dip, but have been on the fence about the First Frost palette, and am now even more uncertain because of the CT Star Aura! 🤔🤔🤔

I could never rearrange a palette. Ever. The BK beauty palette has turned into one of my favorites. The formula is amazing. I always get compliments on my eye looks when I use this palette.

I absolutely would have put it in here. I have hit pan on it but I have decided against supporting the brand after what just happened with their “richer skin” option that just turned out to be a slap in the face. I don’t like how they are treating people outside of my skin color 😓
