Watching this reminds how precious and limited life is and how it can suddenly be taken away. I will miss you Mel. May you rest in peace in a place where there is a rose garden.
OMG, I can't even. She was honest about her health issues but I don't think it was ever expected that her life would be cut so short. The things she is talking about in this video and knowing now that she herself will be gone in less than two weeks makes my heart ache so bad. Despite what she was going through behind the scenes, she carried herself with grace and dignity. 35 years was not enough time for such a sweet, loving and talented person. The world has lost a truly beautiful soul.
So so sad 😥😥 watched her for 6 years when she had only 15000 subs and learned so much ...she made my days a lot better when i was in pain and in bed a lot of the time. She always stayed humble and sweet ❤ cant believe she is gone

This video has torn me apart. Just hearing her talking about her dogs and how heartbroken Charlie was over diesels death and now she's gone. She was the sweetest person. She will be missed so much. Love you Mel.
Hi there - I have never watched youtube makeup videos before - I am 62. I fell in love with Mel a few weeks ago - and would have love to have had her for my daughter. I did not find out until I googled her after watching a gazillion of her videos that she had been sick and passed. I burst into tears when I found out! The world is a little darker without this beautiful soul. I hope she is up in makeup heaven in her own Sephora in heaven.
Let’s remember awesome Mel fans…. Rewatch and like darling Mel’s videos so her legacy lives on. MISSING YOU SO MUCH! You were such a gift to this physical world. Xxxxx
Oh Mel.. My heart is broken. Watching this, thinking of your mom, grandpa, Charlie, Puffin and your kids, there just are no words. You have all the answers now. You have the keys to the Kingdom of all knowledge and all that is love, peace, comfort and joy. I know you are free of suffering, pain and sadness. And you and sweet Diesel are together again. But my heart is shattered for those left behind to grieve and miss you always, until you meet again. You were a light for me. Your physical beauty was breathtaking and your inner beauty just the same. The news of your passing has devastated and consumed me, a stranger to you. Imagining what losing you is doing to those who were closest to you crushes my heart and soul. Gone too soon but never forgotten. An angel on earth, now an angel in Heaven. I love you, Mel. Poor Charlie, all I thought about watching this is poor Charlie has two big losses back to back. My heart goes out to Puffin, all 4 kids and Charlie.

Oh my to hear her talk about Diesel and his grave is heartbreaking and also happy he is waiting for her all at once. The last videos she has made almost sound foreboding. It is incredible how you can miss someone you only knew through their videos but i miss Mel so much and seeing her beautiful face as well as hearing the legendary “Hey beauties” brings tears to my eyes. After my cat Patches passed away I used to feel the weight of him jumping on the bed at night (which he did every night when he was alive). That lasted for months after he was gone. It’s perfectly normal.
Same happened with my dad after our dog passed away (he was a HUGE skeptic before this)
My husband and I lost our Maine coon cat five months ago. We don’t have kids and he was everything to us. I so believe in this but I haven’t felt him. I don’t know why. I just don’t understand because I knew him so well and I swear could feel his energy in other rooms but now nothing. I sleep with his hair every night. I just want him back so bad. I’m really hoping I feel him around us soon.
@@Starnote16 I’m so sorry for the loss of your beautiful cat. I want you to know that I feel your pain. I lost my sister in July and I still cry everyday. Saturday afternoon I was taking a nap, I was half asleep half awake and I heard her voice, she was talking to me. I don’t know if it was a dream or what it was, but I want to think that somehow she will communicate with me. I cried all night. And I’m crying now for the loss of Mel. She was a beautiful soul. 💔

It seems like life lately is just getting harder and harder for so many. I hope you are able to find some peace through such a difficult time. I can’t believe Mel is gone either. I always adored her but now when I go on RUclips I realize how much time I spent watching her videos. She was such a joy and almost an escape to watch.
My Nana grew roses in a massive garden, and she bought a rose for every grandchild she had at the time. My rose was the only one that grew the biggest, and stayed the strongest, all the others died, I took that as a sign. That rose is still growing to this day, and that was over 20 years ago. My Nana means the world to me, we used to go out and garden together. I have tattoos of roses for her. I now grow roses of my own, and I still ask her for advice, and she even bought me a rose. I also have the ashes of my cats with me, they're in boxes, and I will never get rid of them. They are my world. There are very few people or animals that mean as much to me as my Nana and cats.

I'm just at a loss..seems so unreal an yes a bad dream..my soul is 😢
When my previous Giant Schnauzer died, I also heard him in the house after he was gone. I have type 1 diabetes, and if my blood sugar got low on our hikes in the mountains he sensed that before me, and used to come and put his snout in my left hand to alarm me ❤️ Two months after he died I went hiking far away in the mountains with my other dog, when I suddenly felt the so familiar sensation of the push of a wet snout i my palm. The presence was so real, and my other dog I could see was ahead of me, so it wasn't her. I checked my blood sugar, and yes, it was getting low. I broke in to tears then and there, in the middle of nowhere, feeling so sad but yet warm inside ❤️
I would let your remaining dog grief in peace, and not introduce another dog till she's done. There is a possibility that she will reject the new companion if you introduce him/her too soon ❤️

Maybe consider rescuing a Yorkie? We rescued a Yorkie mother and daughter who were surrendered (because their owners were moving), and they are the sweetest pair I’ve ever met. Originally we were only going to foster them, but we absolutely became smitten. Rescuing is so rewarding, you’re literally giving a life a second chance at happiness and love.
I have a yorkie who was also give to us because the person couldn't keep him... And I love yorkies there such good dogs I love yorkies and terriers

Hearing Diesel around the house is completely normal. When my friend lost her dog, she’s heat her walk around the house all the time and it decreased over time. Wishing you all the love and comfort 🐶
My father passed 3 weeks ago and I still hear his voice. My grandma, his mother, swears she sees him walking around the house at night. She’s says she’ll see a glimpse of him but when she looks directly, there’s nothing there. I do think things happen that we can’t explain, it might just be grief, but it might not be, too.

I am so glad your grandpa is improving and getting better, take care of your grandma caregivers give so much and it always takes a toll on them, offer to help give her time for herself and make sure she is doing okay, caregivers often don’t ask for help even though they need it

That tree and the roses are just beautiful, and so glad to hear that your grandfather is doing well and everything else too. 🙏🌹 Depression and separation anxiety in animals is so real, and I've been listening to podcasts about what a lot of pets have faced/are going to have to face when the whole world (eventually) goes back to working in the office and normal life continues. They are resilient, but yes it's tough. You've made a smart decision not rushing into getting another pet. One day it'll feel right. Rescue shelters usually encourage people to make appointments and owners bring their own pets along to see if they connect with another. Maybe one day Charlie will decide that another dog is the right forever friend. 🐶

I’m obsessed with the way the eyeshadow look came out! Something so sophisticated and elegant in those muted tones!
I'm not sure what you're hearing is in your head. Maybe. But I can tell you that I feel very strongly that the pets that I've lost have come back to visit me. I have several stories of my own, but the most recent is my little baby boy Milo. He was my long-haired chihuahua that I lost in January of 2019. Not only was my heart broken when he died, I had a lot of guilt because he had a disease called GME which caused seizures. He hadn't had one in three years and we were starting to think that he was cured or it was a misdiagnosis. Then one evening he had a seizure that just wouldn't stop, so I had to let him go. Anyway, about a year ago I woke up in bed. I slowly realized that I felt something warm against my back. It was chihuahua sized. I could also feel little soft puffs of air on my neck. When Milo slept he had this cute way of breathing where he'd inhale normally and then he'd do this hard exhale. Over his lifetime I had felt that breathing a thousand times. So that morning, it felt just like he was sleeping against my back. I stayed there for the longest time without moving. I knew my new dog was under the covers down by my feet, and when I reached my arm back I didn't feel anything with my hand. But I felt his little warm body and his silly breathing for probably twenty minutes. It was love. That's the only way I can describe it. I've had other experiences with other lost pets as well. My parents would hear their last cat meow from downstairs for a good year after she died.
I think what you've done for Diesel is so beautiful. Charlie has so much love and will be ok.
Yes it was when my dad passed away now 10 years ago. I still here him running with me and my sister. He lives a penny on the ground.

I could hear and feel my American Bull dog, Wasabi, after he passed. We were very close. I think the love keeps us connected. ✨♥️ He died in 2016 and I still cry about him! 😭 I will love him and miss him forever. I feel you, Mel. 🐾

I lost my dog of 12yrs last November and I still cry when I think about him. The tree with his grave is such a beautiful thing, to have him be apart of the trees growth 💗
Our boston terrier just a couple months ago and we can still hear her running around. I also can still hear my cat and she passed 3 years ago. I believe they are still here with us but in another dimension.

They are here to teach us how to love unconditionally. They are definitely more loving than people, more forgiving, less judgmental and they love us with all their hearts.
@Janelle Espinosa I'm devastated by the sudden loss of our beloved Mel. Especially with all she spoke of in this video. I also believe dogs are angels on earth. As a spiritual, psychic person, we believe there is an order, God, angels and then, dogs. It's no coincidence Dog is God spelled backwards. And animals are incapable of sin. They are pure, innocent beings, they are pure love. So, yes. I most definitely agree with you. And I believe Diesel passed on when he did to be there to greet and reunite with Mel when she passed over. And his footsteps she heard were Diesel, he was there for her. I miss Mel so terribly already. May you forever be blessed, Janelle💖
