I don't think you got the whole idea. She's talking about being concerned about long term resources instead of trying survive with short term ideas that will lead to environmental crisis.
I understand that you think she's overrated. That happens with almost all mainstream designers, artists etc. And all hipsters care about not liking the overrated characters.
But out of all the stupidity of the fashion media, I rather listen to this overrated, arrogant old woman talking about what matters.
