I wish more people would have listened to her. She spoke a lot of sense. She uncovered the covered, she spoke out against societies purposeful flaws to the exact people profiting from those flaws. Brave. She used her standing culturally to voice her opinions and tried to make a stand on things that matter. The sort of person kids nowadays should be admiring. I certainly look up to her a lot. She is an artist, she is not saying anything thing about couture which is where her life headed. She has a platform to speak yet you focus on something other than what it is she is saying in the most negative manner. You cant even hear the message. Think about what "overpriced" actually means. This is part of what she's talking about - we are absolutely out of touch with the actual cost of things today, in massive part due to these subsidies she's talking about. They are in every industry, including fashion. The actual cost to make a piece of sustainable, quality clothing is FAR greater than the prices we see in stores. And who's paying for the rest of the cost of that item? Then what are the consequences of that? And now multiply by millions, if not billions of items. We need to get back in touch with the real value of things.
