Cast cranks are very common for engines, small block chevy being a good example. High performance engines had forged, but not your run of the mill 350.

I have multiple small block Chevy engines and they have cast iron cranks , the 4 bolt main blocks that I have are Forged Steel cranks , Are you 12 and getting ready to turn 13 because you sound like an 1DIOT !
But that is a cast iron crankshaft is it good for an internal combustion engine???? Normally crank shafts are forged steel!!!

For low power compressor based on API more than 75 KW needs to be forged...
