I love Bob's presentation in this video. The knowledge and humble honesty he displays shows immense wisdom. He acknowledges when he throws an errant shot and gives pretty thorough and concise reasoning as to why the ball either read early or had a delayed reaction without overly-complicated jargon, in the end, promoting the product as a must have addition to your arsenal (I'm sold). So many of these bowling channels seem to feel as if it is a necessity to lean on comedy, cheap trash talk, and niche-style contests that really don't provide the viewer with anything of value. Some can be interesting, sure, but I'll take maximum Bob in what seems to be his element any day over the aforementioned. Bravo son!
One of my favorite things in bowling is listening to Robert's ball go down the lane. Nothing else sounds like it but the combination of power, revs and speed sounds like a July 4th rocket or a really fast engine. There were a couple beautiful ones in this clip. Robert Smith is like the Bob Ross of bowling with how he articulates it and enjoys it with a laid back energy. Couldn't be more awesome to have Maximum Bob with B7 doing these videos! Great job, Nick!
I bowled juniors with Robert back in the day. I was I was 17, he was 14. He threw the ball like that even back then in the late 80s as a kid. Just a special talent.
Mr. Robert Smith. First time catching one of your videos (Shame on me). Enjoyed watching you on the tour. Legend for sure. Not sure why you’re not dominating on the Senior tour but great work on this review. Looks like you haven’t lost a rev or speed. Looking forward to watching your other reviews. Peace…
Amazing. Today's House conditions allow you to hit anything from 13 - 19 board and the ball is buried. In the 1980s, one board right and you were in the weeds. One board left and you were hoping to break-up the big four. Plus, the ABC only allowed flat oil treatments for league bowling. No blocking, no variances. But, thanks Bob. Good form and release. Great fundamentals. You are a gem for younger bowlers to emulate and learn from.
It's been such a long time since I last saw you. I've been a fan of yours for a long time, and it's really nice to see you like this. Your power remains the same as it was when you were younger, and it goes really well with the hammer ball. I hope I can watch the video often. Stay healthy always~~~~
Glad to see you throwing videos Robert you still got it! Question for you when did you go back to a standard grip from the sarge Easter and what was the reason for that move back! Tear it up on the 50 tour this year!
Absolutely love my NU Blue Hammer. Been a 190-ish bowler for years with occasional higher games. Am now averaging 213 with the NU Blue. Would like to see a video on the NU Blue to see how a really good bowler looks at it and what it can do. Anyway, it's fixed my too much hook issue and is working well. Best series so far was 723. I've had an 800 series as my goal for a long time now and this ball just might do the trick. Yes, I have a ways to go with my game for sure but the NU Blue is looking pretty good so far and should do better as I get more comfortable with it.
New to your channel and love your explanations as in your moves left and right with how the balls reads. Thanks from this old Marine. Semper Fi Pennywell
Pin up was much more consistent and versatile imho. It looked like lots of fun to throw with a beautiful smooth hook. The only thing I don't care for with four colors in a ball is what it will actually look like. In that case too much light blue. Otherwise using every color Hammer has is nice overall look rolling down the lane.
Robert is such a treasure. I look forward to seeing more of him on this channel.
Nice to see Maximum Bob back in action.👍🏾
Absolutely happy to see Maximum Bob back in action too Charles and I look forward to seeing him on the PBA50 Tour.
Great to see maximum Bob! Even better seeing him throw hammer!
Welcome back, Bob! Welcome back!
Ahhhhh.. I just got nostalgic 🥹

perfect! Robert can make any ball look good! Great decision!

Bob is such a fun guy to watch and bowl with. Glad to see him in this one and can't wait to see shrapnel on the senior tour.

Watch some of his games from the 2000s. Dude THREW
He actually is real nice and set me up with great gear for bowling.
This just sealed the deal for me. I'm getting one ordered this week!
I’ll follow Robert’s reviews all day long! I can tell this is an answer to pieces from Utah like the Sublime.
We want more Robert Smith content! 10/10 "gonna make a standard 2 and 1 here... 2 dots and 1 arrow." 😂
glad someone caught that hahahhaha
Awesome seeing Robert back out there giving us content. Ball looks amazing! Keep bringing the heat my friend!
I ABSOLUTELY love me some Robert Smith! Such a FANTASTIC BOWLER!!!
We need a Maximum Bob / BrunsNick collaboration now that I know they bowl on the same set of lanes.
Robert Smith is the GOAT!
I bowled juniors with Robert back in the day. I was I was 17, he was 14. He threw the ball like that even back then in the late 80s as a kid. Just a special talent.
Robert was always one of my favorites to watch on TV.
What a release, and sick roll.
Good to see Bob on the review! Hope he does more reviews in the future.
Mr.ロバートスミスお元気そうでなによりです❗️
ボウリングも衰えてなく健在ですね❗️ 意外と復帰出来るんではないですか❗️
My favorite bowler ever. I owe my entire game to this man.
The senior tour has to be fearing Bob's presence!
why?
@@steve99912 because he has the ability to destroy pins like very few of them with his high revs.

My new hammer effect is killin it man, thanks to you guys. Now all I need is a league team to show my skills
The power this guy has at 50 is beyond impressive.
Definitely a natural on camera. Good review
Wow! Haven't seen Robert in years! Still got it too 🔥
Will be great to see you back on the senior tour Robert, let’s go!
Looking forward to seeing Robert on PBA50 this year!
excellent video..nice to see him toss it
One of my favorites, glad to see him still crushing pins
This was awesome. Cant believe he is in his 50s now. He still gets plenty on the ball though. So much fun to watch him throw it.
Great seeing this guy. High Rev rate
That last one was nasty! Nice ball Robert.
This guy has always been oneof my favorites. Great owlet, really good guy, GREAT to see him, hopefully you do more with Maximum Bob, Bowling Treasure

Met Robert Smith at a conference in Ohio last year and he is the nicest guy and loves to tell his stories from his career.
Already ordered mine when first came out. Can't wait to try it, feels like I'm never going to receive the ball.
I really enjoyed this review. Never seen Mr. Smith before, but he is really talented. I liked the pin down better.

Good review Bob
Great video. Would like to know the pin down layout.
Looking more and more like the dude every day

You have such a beautiful throw. Please tell me your on the tour
Robert has so much power to the point that he can use slower response bowling balls
Maximum Bob is about to dominate the senior tour.
Get this man in every ball review.
I think Robert likes it! 👍
Welcome back Maximum Bob!
Maximum Bob still cranking it. I love it
Stop throwing it so good.... You're making us jealous 😊
Maximum Bob, my all-time favorite bowler.
No more Sarge Easter grip?
Think he changed awhile ago. Gonna guess mid 2000s
Always loved maximum bob
Welcome back Bobby!
How does the Effect compare to the Max Bias?
If I pair this with 3.0 do I still need Scorpion Low Flare or would you suggest another ball to pair with 3.0 Widow and Effect?
Always great to see maximum Bob, no more sarge Easter grip
Can’t wait to get mines later this week
That ball is a truck……when you throw it. Is that same pair Bruns- ick bowls on?
