I haven’t watched all the videos in this series, but I have thoroughly enjoyed the 2 or 3 I’ve seen. First, I just feel good whenever I wear Brass And Soul. I don’t think that I carry myself any differently when I wear it versus other fragrances, but I do get noticed every time I do wear it. It’s great and I appreciate what you did. Next, I’ve appreciated how you have described the vibe of the different scents. I recently purchased a sample of City Rhythm’s Manhattan. (Not meaning to name drop so much as to provide context.) So I tried it on my wrist and thought “oh, I have an Initio that smells just like this.” Then I sprayed the Initio…and realized that they don’t smell “alike,” rather, they gave the same impression. And suddenly these “overhyped” videos make perfect sense.
This is a thought provoking series. The alternatives that you provide are appreciated. I am convinced that I will love Roja's Oligarch and Burlington 1891? (whatever the number), based on the reviews, but I admittedly love Elysium for all of the reasons given for its popularity. Re Hermes: Un Jardin sur la Nil - unique and wonderful - is still on my to-do list, along with at least 4 others from that house. These days, that house does not get the attention it deserves (except for Terre d'Hermes). Parfums de Marley - that's the one that warrants alternatives.
@@stayfreshproductions Based on the assessments by you, especially, and a few others, 1819 may become one of my top favorites, once I get my nose on it. Will have to wait until 2022 and then do a 10 - 15 ml decant!
Thank you for your videos Justin! What do you do when your collection grows over 20 to 30 perfumes? Before, it was easy for me to focus on my favorite 2-3 perfumes and use them constantly. Now, I feel like there are many I love which don’t get used enough.
Hey Carlos! It only gets harder as your collection grows. I have hundreds now...and I try to wear something different every single day so I can eventually get to everything. But if you have something you don't love, you may not need it anymore.

@@stayfreshproductions in that case, I totally get it. It is one of the things that you've done well since I started watching your reviews and look forward to. 👍
Really loving this series! Another fragrance i'd go with over Tuscan Leather is Rasasi La Yuqawam. Always heard the two compared to each other but I tend to lean toward La Yuqawam more. The raspberry (which seems stronger in this one) and leather combo just does it for me.

Elysium is nice but only lasts about an hour on me (I've even asked people to try to detect it on me to verify that) so it's not worth even half the money to me. I agree with you on Creed in general - prices went up - bottle size and longevity went way down. Pretty ridiculous and they've lost me as a customer. Wet Stone reminds me of TF Oud Mineral quite a bit, it has a very similar salty/ozonic vibe, I like it 👍 Keep the videos coming, Justin. I like this series/topic 🤟

Big fan of wet stone. I traded my Nishane Hacivat for it. Please sample! It lasts and lasts as the concentration is high and it is very salty! But I love salt/beach scents and that mineral accord is no joke
Amouroud is definetly my next house to purchase from. I think Lunar Vetiver is even more popular then Wet Stone, but they are definetly up there. I think they have some pretty good cold weather scents to, which i am looking into right now

I liked Tuscan Leather and the bottle costed me $350, I regret buying it. I live in Houston and I’ve used it in those days where weather was low 30°F so it was cold. I get bad comments. I thought it smelled manly and high class but I just don’t like how people around me seem to hate it. Percival is such an awesome fragance! It’s manly and smells like Fierce by Abercrombie.
