- Already experienced running a Stock & Modded 18' 10 AT 5.0, so I got curious to see if the EcoBoost with a 10r80 is quick as most say it is. Big thanks to the owner of this EcoBoost who was willing to do the science & now I'm more curious to running it once its modded especially from a dig.

This wasn’t even fair. Should have been stock to stock and it would have been interested to see. I’m not a big fan of either of these cars but wish it was stock to stock comparison. Ofcourse the modded car will win
Even stock the z would win especially on the long run, speaking from experience I raced my friends 10 speed ecoboost performance and we were neck to neck from dig but then I eventually did end up taking the lead at high speeds. The z has higher top speed

MORE-VOLTAGE テキサス nope actually. Raced a FBO+tune ecoboost auto in a full exhaust 6mt 370z. They are really heavy.

@@triiipleram4563 not really, curb on a 370 is like 3,300 that ecoboost was a convertible and I remember he said he was probably around 3,600-3,700
even if it was tuned the 2.3s Achilles heel is a roll race, from a dig the 370z wouldnt be able to chase her down, but a roll race is the only thing that 370z is good at, you start your roll races at 5000 RPM, and the Z doesnt stop making horsepower until literally your redline, all dynos show Zs making peak HP at actual redline, the mustang is going to be nothing but losing HP the higher it revs out

I’ve beaten a 450whp 1st gen coyote from a 40 roll race by half a car in my fbo stock turbo 93 10spd ecoboost. Once you get a bigger turbo or add methanol or even a tune the top end on the 2.3 is a lot better

370z is just FBO/e85 Tuned?

My guy my brother took one of those to gap with his stock 370z just a cold air and exhaust. No tune or E85 it’s funny how people think just because it’s a ecobest it will walk everyone. Good video loved it
this comment is 0 iq, literally do the math 370z has more hp and a lot less weight and is NA it's not that hard to figure out who's gonna win in a race. No one thinks an ecoboost is gonna gap a 370z stock but with a tune and boltons and flexfuel it's gonna make a lot more power because forced induction from factory makes low power builds cheap

@@ademhasanovic7141 uhhhh don't know about that. Mines fbo e30 and no g36 even comes close. Even the new mustang gts with the ten speed get pulled on the highway. Ecoboost can hit 400 whp with minimal work involved. Getting 400 whp out of a g36 or 350z takes a shit ton of work.

People are disliking the video because it's a bad video. You can't even see where the mustang is. In my video vs a ecoboost mustang we made sure the camera was in the ecoboost so you can see me the entire time and know the buses that I was pulling.

Since I’ve noticed the 10r80 on the Mustang GTs helped them greatly compared to the previous 6ATs on the S550s, I wanted to see if the 10AT helps the EcoBoost as much as it helps the GTs but turns out it doesn’t.
@@More.Voltage ecos also make 250whp stock and heatsoak during daily driving with stock intercooler. and i can bet money he didnt shift before 5500 when stock turbos stop making power

@@vxu3826 used 5.0s are slower than ecoboosts. I had no problem beating a modded 4.6. I beat a 1st gen 5.0 with 450whp in my stock turbo fbo eco as well. Simple bolt ons and a tune and a precision drop in turbo and you’re pushing almost 400whp and hurting every stock v8 owners feelings and some modded ones too
