The 6.2 and 6.5 Detroit rock HUMVEEs by the hundred thousand across countless nations of the world. Easy to repair and reliable in its mechanical form. Only the 6.5 electronics were the real problem. Early 6.2 had some block bad cores but that was worked out after 1984 production year.
Its deeper than that .....its the Amount of labor involded with those engines . I can rip a 7.3 engine out in 1 hour and 30 minutes. How long does it take to remove, work on, remove all those other engines , how readliy available are parts , how expensive are core engines etc etc etc

I gotta defend the 6.5 turbo diesel its a fine engine. No they are not powerhouses but they can be bulletproofed with a few simple cheap mods

Exactly, i do love 6.0 Powerstroke Because, it has most overall engine problems.
